24/04/2025: Easter lunch 2025 to lick your lips and... to caress the soul.... Excellent raw materials, genuine flavours, conscious technique, creativity and balance in the alternation of dishes. Favorites: Pork cheek braised in Guinness That melts in your mouth in softness... Lemon Cheesecake Cream with "salted caramel" Butterscotch and phyllo dough... Brilliant!!! We have planned the Easter weekend 2025 in the Langhe. We were lucky enough to look for a good restaurant and find the Oca Giuliva osteria. I booked a few days in advance and the owner, Mr. Fabrizio, was attentive when I revealed food intolerances. Nonetheless, he didn't give up, on the contrary. Upon arrival on Sunday he informed us about the changes made ad hoc on the fixed menu to allow my guests to enjoy an exquisite lunch in the tranquility of maximum food attention. Very few restaurateurs have this culture and this human sensitivity. We thank Fabrizio and the thoughtful Mrs. Debora who followed us. You gave us a Sunday with family and a day of "special" ordinariness.

25/04/2025: A perfect day of celebration spent in this delightful farmhouse with a capital A. The appetizers are excellent, from cured meats to tomino with the hazelnut oil they produce which can be purchased on site. Enjoy the first course of agnolotti with ragù and the delicious cheek with the scent of home! They were very attentive to my child who was served first and with great pleasure he ate the lady's ragù. We will definitely be back, thank you very much!

02/02/2025: Abbiamo scelto l'opzione 3 piatti più il dolce a 37€ e non solo è stato tutto al top ma il proprietario ci ha offerto di sua iniziativa un assaggio di un quinto piatto. Una cucina che abbina la tradizione a una riuscitissima innovazione condita da una cortesia fuori dal comune. Staff giovanissimo, età media 28, che sa già il fatto suo. Ci torneremo e lo consigliamo vivamente

Excellent welcome, impeccable service, more than honest and extensive wine list. 08/05/2025: Magnificent experience in an elegant and welcoming environment. Cuisine of the highest level with the addition of many small and very pleasant surprises. Impeccable service and a very rich wine list. A special consideration for bread-making, of great quality and creativity.

22/12/2024: We ate very well in this small restaurant where it is difficult to find a seat... starters (Russian salad, pumpkin flan with fondue and white truffle, artichoke crepes and, for carnivores, peppers in bagna cauda and raw meat), first course ( tagliolini with mushrooms and black truffle) second course (very tasty red cabbage with red wine stew, always for those who ate it). The desserts also lived up to expectations, nougat semifreddo with hot chocolate and, above all, a superlative hazelnut cake. Barbera del Monferrato a little lively and very pleasant. Friendly and attentive service. All for 40 euros per person, willingly spent!

26/10/2024: Family-run farmhouse with few seats and an open kitchen door where you can literally see what they are preparing. Fixed menu 35 euros, water and wine included. Really very good home cooking with an almost guaranteed encore.

12/06/2025: Dopo la visita alla distilleria, eravamo incerti su cosa fare, ma l'aspetto e l'affluenza dei clienti ci ha deciso. La cordialità e cortesia è di casa. Subito accolti con attenzione e portato da bere. Le nostre richieste sono state accolte senza timore, fra gli ospiti avevamo tre persone che provenivano per la prima volta in Italia, dalla Cina. Il cibo abbondante e saporito, tutti contenti. La pasta fatta cuocere sul momento come il fritto. Ho promesso che torneremo.

It was difficult to choose one dish above all, perhaps the tagliolini with aromatic herbs...spectacular. We will definitely return, and I recommend it to those who like good food

29/04/2025: La location si trova percorrendo una stretta strada di campagna, in cima ad una salita, in un casolare tipico del Monferrato, ben conservato. È gestito da due fratelli, uno fa il cuoco, l'altro parla ai tavoli e serve il vino di loro produzione. Preparano le materie prime, come i tagliolini e gli agnolotti. Servono un menù con tre antipasti, due primi e un secondo, il dolce. Consiglio l'ottima barbera Amormio. Ottimo rapporto qualità e prezzo, 40 euro a persona compresa acqua e una bottiglia di vino. Unica pecca i tempi del servizio, comunque premuroso e preciso. Essendo il pranzo Pasquale due ore e mezza sono stati accettabili. Tornerò.
