30/05/2026: I came to visit Mom because Dad is hospitalized. We went to the restaurant. In the evening, the place was clean and very nice. They had a wide selection of beer and high-quality meat and burgers.
28/05/2026: Excellent pizzas. I've been coming for years and have never been disappointed. I recommend it. This time I tried the burger, which wasn't bad either.

02/05/2026: The menu is very varied, including vegetarian options. Dogs are allowed, which is unusual in Barzio, where we found a prominent ban on dog owners in several establishments. The service was excellent. We had two soups, one with farro and one with onions, both excellent, and a second course of polenta and mushrooms.
26/04/2026: The pizzas are okay, the grilled meats are excellent. The wait is a bit long. The menu is extensive and very varied.

24/05/2026: Very disappointed by the food we ate at a restaurant that looks nice from the outside.
After a 30-40 minute wait, I finally got my lasagna Bolognese, which had apparently been reheated in the microwave, but the inside was still cold. The worst part is that they explained it was cold perhaps because it had been outside, even though it was 25 degrees Celsius during the day. Finally, they offered to reheat it properly in the microwave again 😣.

14/05/2026: Wonderful hotel in the sweet spot of Lake Como: Varenna. Sure it’s pricey; sure the rooms are small (welcome to Europe!) but the location can’t be beat. The staff are excellent. The breakfast was on point for a 4-star hotel. We were able to have our private boat pick us up at their dock. We will be back!
13/05/2026: Exquisite service and exception cuisine! We had dinner in the Victoria Grill courtyard "greenhouse" last March, just before the season officially began. We shared several appetizers, the salmon and other dishes that were expertly prepared and simply delicious. I cannot wait to return! Also, the next afternoon, Paula and Mauro were kind enough to box up some desserts for our journey to Milan - the baba is a must try! The service combined with the exceptional food quality makes the Royal Victoria Grill a destination!

23/07/2025: Si elige este restaurante sin leer cuidadosamente todas las reseñas de TA, tenga en cuenta que se enfrentará a largas esperas por su comida y una factura costosa al final.
Si está preparado para lo anterior, los platos estarán buenos , pero no exactamente como se describe en sus menús obtusos: por ejemplo, mi kebab de pollo ( 55 minutos de espera por 22 € ) no tenía ningún lado vegetal.
21/07/2025: Solo poche parole, pranzo squisito, piatti preparati dalla miglior tradizione persiana con tocchi di personalizzazione che hanno dato anche qualcosa in più. Era l'anniversario di matrimonio e mia moglie iraniana è rimasta pienamente soddisfatta. Ambiente amichevole, ottimo servizio, insomma, tutto splendido!

14/02/2026: Just a few minutes from the lake, there's no need to wait in lines. The focaccia is delicious, and the staff is very friendly and helpful, happy to advise and recommend their specialties.
The price for a coffee and brioche is very reasonable at €2.
I totally recommend checking it out!

16/03/2026: I entered the bar and, as is my custom, joined the line. The bartender, probably thinking I wanted to use the bathroom (which was already occupied), pushed me, rudely yelling, "I'll slap you," and kicked me out. I didn't order anything.
