18/08/2025: Top-notch service, courtesy, and kindness make it a perfect place.
The place is gorgeous, and the beer is out of this world.
We at the Judo Ronin Academy in Montichiari are regulars, and whenever we can, we go for a beer with friends and one of their excellent sandwiches.
Always available, and we've often gone for business dinners.

25/09/2025: This was a fantastic surprise in a small town. We had a bit of trouble finding the place because the address in the Michelin guide was incorrect. But we persisted and afterwards i wrote to Michelin and they immediately corrected it.
The atmosphere is modern relaxed and fun. The placemats are paper and you're tested to coloured pencils to doodle or draw or write your thoughts. Very nice touch. The bread is made on site and it's fermented and delicious. The menu is not huge, which I like because what they do, they do well.
I had a starter to share with eggplant and posts, which were excellent. My dinner companion head the tagliata which was tender and perfectly cooked.
The service was outstanding. Friendly and English speaking.
They make more then bread. There were homemade panetone and other goodies like sbrisolano which i bought when leaving.
All in all, a wonderful evening.
Note. They have Turkish toilets.

19/08/2025: BELLA BRESCIA pizza was delicious, with fast and professional service. The fish on the pizza was very good, and the ham was also of high quality. I only had the pizza, but even looking around at other tables, the main courses and fish dishes were intriguing.
16/08/2025: Excellent pizzeria with a wide selection of dishes. Average prices. Friendly and helpful staff. Quick service. Fresh and tasty ingredients.

If Michelin is the most illustrious reference for restaurants, Gambero Rosso is for pastry shops.
Surely in first place there is always the skill, but believe me
There are places known more than others thanks also to the compromises that along their path, one is willing to "marry".
A few examples?
Using a water label compared to another...
A flour compared to another.
An oil compared to another.
Etc...
Sometimes it can make the difference.
If instead all this, together with the various social networks, the various advertisements, television programs are put in second place.... here's the fact that one becomes much much less known than Others....
Sometimes it happens, to be a little more curious and to go and read what the classic normality (the network) offers us...
An example?
Dolce Reale.
I avoid saying what it could be, it must be You, to go and discover it.
In the meantime, I ask you, go and read the Gambero Rosso Italian pastry shop ranking, you will find a huge surprise. "The Pastry Chef" that all the Italian people know has the same score as this small but very sweet pastry shop on the outskirts....

I dipendenti sono stati molto gentili il cibo ma soprattutto il gelato è molto buono.
