28/11/2025: One of the worst ice cream parlors I've been to in Italy. We didn't like the texture and taste of the ice cream and we also got macarons that were very hard and inedible and were thrown in the trash. The apartments were also not so good, they weren't that nice.

19/10/2025: We're giving it one star overall because, aside from the inviting and historic location, the welcome was zero and the service was unpleasant. Today, the new waitress was being trained, and she was guided and corrected at tables that were acting as guinea pigs. We want to clarify that the new waitress had nothing to do with this judgment; the problem is the management, which can't test the service without filtering, constantly invading the privacy of paying guests with unfriendly tones and annoyed looks. It's not something you do. Being born learned has nothing to do with the paying customer's right to eat and be served without being subjected to the obvious stress of being a new member of staff. Furthermore, it's Saturday for everyone, and after a week of work, if you decide to spend at least €40 per person for lunch with a shared appetizer and a first course each, it means it has to live up to its presentation. However, the quality of the food and the price aren't adequate either. A mixed appetizer cost €27: hummus was more like a chickpea puree, not hummus; the fried mozzarella balls tasted like frozen food; the polenta sticks were overly salty; the salami was average; and the prosciutto was good. The first courses are reasonably priced for a downtown osteria. However, today we were unlucky because the casoncelli were stuck together in a single block with melted parmesan and a lake of butter; perhaps even proper cooking doesn't achieve this result at home. My companion's pumpkin ravioli were submerged in a walnut sauce that was too salty and flavorful, completely covering the pumpkin flavor. The bread wasn't fresh, and there were a lot of crackers in the poorly-kept basket. Aside from being hungry, given the menu prices, we hope they improve the quality and service. So, absolutely NO value for money. We won't be returning. If you're visiting downtown Brescia, we wouldn't recommend this place. It's a shame we don't have photos to post; perhaps it would be clearer that our review is necessary to raise consumer awareness. Thank you.
