22/07/2026: Beautiful location but stay well clear of the beach bar and its servers!
I hoped to quench my thirst whilst enjoying my stay at the Miramare Beach but upon ordering a Pepsi from the bar; I was met with a weak watered down drink for the ghastly price of 7 euro!
This was not what I was expecting from a 5 star hotel.
When I asked the staff to replace it (as it really was just brownish water from a pump) they outright refused and were quite aggressive and rude about it.
They seemed to mock me for making a simple and courteous complaint
I was not at all expecting this after the previously great service I had experienced.
I would recommend all visitors to steer clear of the beach bar and enjoy other parts of the beautiful Hotel.
21/06/2026: Had an excellent time with my spouse! Service, people, room service, food, etc. were all above expectations! Beautiful beach club, with amazing views and super friendly people. Highly recommend :)

16/05/2026: While passing through Santa Margherita, I was recommended focaccia at this shop. It was worth the trip! The focaccia is truly exceptional, both the plain and the cheese version (I'll try the rest next time... I almost exploded). The service was impeccable and fast, even though the shop was packed.

22/03/2026: Stunning focaccia 👌 so light and tasty! We had normale, olive and were lucky enough to have tried a fresh cheese focaccia straight out of the oven 🤤😋 ... I'm having a hard time leaving this place 100% must try!
17/03/2026: Pinamonti is the Ligurian focaccia par excellence in Santa Margherita. Tradition and delicious focaccia have always been their strong points. Not stopping by to stock up would be a grave mistake!

04/01/2026: Panificio Fiordiponti embodies the best of Ligurian tradition and bread-making. It goes without saying how delicious their products are, such as Ligurian focaccia (well-drenched in olive oil), cheese focaccia, and pizza. I didn't have a chance to try the bread or desserts, but they looked absolutely inviting. It alone is worth a stop in Santa Margherita Ligure, and now, picking up takeout to enjoy in Portofino has become a tradition!

24/08/2026: The food was excellent, with a real home-style flavor. The service was typical Italian, but we were seated by someone who spoke French. Our only complaint was that there were no tables upstairs, so we ended up seated on the floor below.

20/08/2026: I simply ordered two takeout pizzas, the place was empty, 5 waitresses at the counter for 3 of us to take an order, a 50-minute wait without even being notified. After 40 minutes, we wondered how it was possible that with the place empty, our pizzas hadn't come out yet, forgotten.
The answer was, "We're making them now," and when I asked for a refund so we could eat somewhere they're willing to work, they churned out the pizzas, including a simple Margherita with completely raw tomato sauce. Terrible pizzas, €29.50 for two pizzas and a chip. I'm not even considering the owner's comment accusing the girl of not informing us when we spoke to her. That said, I definitely want to avoid this place if the situation is like this when the place is empty, but I can't imagine it would be like this when the place is full.

10/08/2026: The food is reheated, when we wanted to add salt to the food the lid fell off and all the salt fell into the salad, the food was served one by one, and the potatoes got cold by the time my schnitzel was served, everything was very bad. The food was served very slowly and at the end when I asked for 2 more beers, they were brought after I asked for the bill. I do not recommend this restaurant in any case!!!
09/08/2026: The restaurant is located between two buildings, where there's almost always some air and shade, making it ideal when it's very hot like these days. The menu is simple but tasty, and it's also great for an aperitif.

08/04/2026: Extremely expensive, small plates, and poor quality. We left hungry! €20 for a plate of pasta with tomato sauce and five mussels on top, plus a €3 cover charge!! Excessive! First time at this restaurant. I'd rather find another restaurant next time.
06/04/2026: We randomly decided to stop at this restaurant for dinner and were very lucky to find a table without a reservation. The young lady who welcomed us was super helpful and set up a lovely table for us. The atmosphere is simple but very welcoming. The best thing, as it should be, was the food. The two first courses we ordered were both five-star, especially the spaghettoni cacio e pepe with shrimp tartare, simply perfect in every way, one of the best seafood first courses I've ever had. If we ever return to Santa Margherita, we'll definitely stop by Molo 10 again, this time with a reservation :)

04/04/2026: I went to Lo Colapasta and tried two first courses: trofie with pesto and trofie with shrimp and zucchini.
What intrigued me most was the pesto pasta, served with green beans and potatoes: it was the first time I'd eaten it like this. I imagine it's a typical Genoese recipe, so it's worth trying even for those who aren't local. That said, I personally found it rather salty, perhaps a little too salty for my taste, though overall it remains a traditional dish.
The trofie with shrimp and zucchini, on the other hand, were much better; I found it tasty and had more balanced flavors, making it decidedly more enjoyable to eat.
The staff was also a positive note: they were friendly, kind, and helpful, helping make the experience more enjoyable.
Prices are average for the area (€10 for the pesto and €12 for the shrimp dish, for a total of €22 for two), so overall, in line with the central location of Genoa.
