20/01/2025: An absolutely fantastic experience. We booked a table for 2 from the ski lift and a lovely voice with nice English took our reservation. The atmosphere is great with some locals at the bar and our waitress was very friendly. The food was truly amazing - we had vegetarian dishes which did not disappoint, fresh and full of flavour - my favourite was the starter with cheese and polenta,phenomenal. They took card payment but unfortunately you can only leave tip as cash. Fantastic place. Will recommend to everyone visiting Tarvisio. :)
09/01/2025: Disappointed that we came on purpose on a Thursday and it is closed for shift! Would it be time to update Google?!??

06/01/2025: We were there during the Christmas holidays with friends. Convenient location, with parking. Simple, warm and familiar environment. Very abundant, tasty dishes and home cooking. They also make pizza but I haven't tried it. Helpful and patient staff. Good prices.

Rifugio al Santuario

27/01/2025: After the overnight visit last summer, we had dinner at the Rifugio Santurario at the end of January. Host Jure is a perfect host. He and the staff take great care of the guests. Large selection of typical local food. Very good wines. Simply great.
On Fridays the cable car is in operation from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. Reservations are recommended on Friday evenings! In addition to the perfect evening in the restaurant, Monte Lussari is of course an attraction. A dream, especially in the evening and in winter!
Tip: drive up shortly before 4 p.m., enjoy the panorama and then have a delicious meal!
11/01/2025: Despite arriving very late, we were warmly welcomed.
Very friendly waitress although there wasn't much going on on this winter evening.
The mixed salad was super crunchy. The pizzas were delicious, we had a Cardinale (photo) and a Capricciosa.
We had a wonderful evening with delicious food. We'll be back.

26/01/2025: Monte Lussari é una chicca che domina tra le nostre Alpi Giulie. L' atmosfera mistica e fiabesca coinvolge chiunque decida di vederlo o di rivederlo per l'ennesima volta come noi.
A coronare ulteriormente l'esperienza meravigliosa c'è Jure titolare del Rifugio al Convento con l'intero staff.
Dedizione, serietà e simpatia contraddistinguono questo Rifugio.
Stanze molto accoglienti, curate e pulite. La colazione ottima, molto varia ed abbondante. La cena eccellente, piatti vari e ben preparati, per ogni gusto.
Bravissimi a tutti e complimenti vivissimi!!
04/01/2025: Abbiamo prenotato per il pranzo, alle 14, perché prima non c'era posto. A quell'ora si stavano sedendo quelli che avevano prenotato alle 13 (gli orari li danno i gestori). La gente entra e si "accaparra" il primo tavolo libero in barba alle prenotazioni. Nessuno del personale in servizio ti sa dare informazioni in merito alla tua prenotazione e se ti rispondono lo fanno pure in modo scortese.
Sconsigliato!
