03/03/2025: From our entrance the impression was very positive, welcomed by a jovial owner. The food is exquisite, creamed cod with polenta, tagliatelle with radicchio and fish tortelli accompanied by an excellent still Ribolla from Collio. To finish, accompanied by the coffee, delicious local sweets. Highly recommended

07/03/2025: Palmanova is a unique star-shaped city in northeastern Italy, located in the Friuli Venezia Giulia region. It was founded by the Venetian Republic in 1593 as a fortified city to defend against Ottoman attacks. The city has a perfectly symmetrical nine-pointed star layout, with circular streets radiating from the central Piazza Grande.
Today, Palmanova is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a fascinating destination for history and architecture lovers. Visitors can explore the well-preserved fortifications, museums and picturesque streets, and learn more about the military strategy of the time.
We decided to have lunch at this restaurant and we were not wrong. The beef tagliata and grilled vegetables were excellent, the meat was juicy and plentiful. The second course was spaghetti with fruti di mare, also plentiful and tasty. With 3 glasses of wine, the total cost was €43.

12/01/2025: Our typical stop for dinner. Excellent pizza, very good Sorbetto Al Limone. Large selection.
Our problem: we are always there in winter. It feels like 17 degrees in the restaurant. So it's no surprise that all the local regulars keep their jackets on.
We have to come in the summer and sit in the garden in front of the door and enjoy the view of the beautiful square.
The kitchen also deserves this recognition, best pizza 🍕❤️

Piatti di livello medio bassi troppo caro il conto.
Servizio lento nonostante il locale fosse mezzo vuoto.
Abbiamo aspettato più di mezz'ora solo per avere pane e acqua.
Il disordine e la male organizzazione la fanno da padrona.
Lasciate ogni speranza voi che entrate.

24/02/2024: Il posto è bello in stile art deco, a due passi dalla piazza; il personale e la titolare sono molto attenti e cordiali. Abbiamo ordinato dei biscotti e toast (leggerissimo). Deliziosi. Si trovano pure i prodotti artigianali per asporto - il babà in barattolo è un'opera d'arte!
