13/02/2024: Two friends and a nice dachshund, a Monday evening in February, bad weather, mountain road... You have to come to Verzegnis specifically. Yet at Il Fogolar, there is no shortage of customers. A positive signal. The fire welcomes you as soon as you enter and invites you to take a pleasant break. Whether, as we have chosen, at a characteristic table next to the fogolar in the Osteria, or in the typical restaurant room. The atmosphere is authentic, it is that of the right convivial meeting place where time stands still. The kitchen offers traditional Carnic dishes and more, all very inviting and prepared with quality. There will be no surprises on the bill, everything is clear on the menu and even at the counter there is no shortage of precise indications on the price of wines by the glass or in the bottle (this is not always correct in restaurants). And the cover charge is offered as indicated on the pretty placemats at the tables of the tavern. We liked it in every way. A wild Sella Chianzutan was worth it on a wolfish evening!!!

06/03/2024: Passeggiando per Udine proprio mentre si parlava di gelato ecco che ci imbattiamo per caso in questa carinissima gelateria...come sottrarci? Esperienza positiva, gelato veramente molto buono e dal gusto intenso, gusti ricercati ed ingredienti di qualità (come il Vero e Raro pistacchio di Bronte). Personale al bancone garbato e alla mano, è stato al gioco di un vecchio brontolone in evidente calo di zuccheri (che era mio padre) assecondando il suo desiderio di chiacchiere oltre che di gelato. Mi sento veramente di consigliare questa gelateria che, con uno strepitoso gelato, soddisfa sicuramente molti desideri. 😁

04/03/2024: An excellent fish restaurant that also offers dishes with the famous San Daniele ham. The dishes are fresh, plentiful and delicious. The ham carbonara and strudel were excellent, but we liked everything. They are also amazing at caring for children and dogs.
