07/04/2024: I went there yesterday afternoon and ordered a fruit cup with ice cream, unfortunately I was disappointed because the fruit didn't taste like anything, especially the pineapple was too ripe, not fresh or good looking. When I pointed this out to the waitress, the owner came to the table with some new pineapple and strawberries, which I appreciated as a gesture, but her response was quite rude because she claimed that pineapple was good for her. Furthermore, I would have expected flavors such as cream, strawberry or cream as ice cream, certainly not the biscuit and oreo flavors which had nothing to do with it.
25/03/2024: If you want to eat a good cup of ice cream, this is the right place, there will be hundreds of them on the menu. However, it's also great for a snack, a small but well-kept place.

02/04/2024: We went to this tavern for Easter Monday. The dishes offered by the tavern are good but more expensive than average. What I really didn't understand is the cost of the service THREE EUROS each; we didn't even have Flanders service and personal waiters. Another thing bordering on the legal is the spritz with vermouth scam. I say scam because as soon as you sit down the waiter's blunt question is: do you want an aperitif, Aperol or Campari spritz or with vermouth? Know that if you choose the one with vermouth it will cost you 12 euros, TWELVE (not even if they had made the spritz with champagne), instead of 5 euros like the other two versions. Be very careful.

07/04/2024: Located in an excellent location, the environment is pleasant, but the positive things stop there.
Rough, provincial, careless management, arrogant and rude attitudes on the part of all the staff, who are evidently not trained or have little aptitude for relating to the public.
I went several times (I hadn't found a place elsewhere) and so it can't be said to be a coincidence.
The quality of the cuisine is that of an average pizzeria, so don't expect carefully prepared dishes from the restaurant menu, which may just satisfy the expectations of an Anglo-Saxon tourist.
Evidently, there is an abundant turnover of customers which allows them to treat them badly and ensure that they do not come back a second time while continuing to sell out.
However, policies of this kind work in Venice, Rome, Florence; in Ferrara they are risky, since if the wind changes it's a snap to find yourself with an empty place within a few months.
I recommend avoiding it.

They continue to only provide the pre-order receipt, unless you pay by debit card or specifically ask for the receipt.
The pre-order receipt is not taxable but just a good way to avoid taxes.
I absolutely don't resent anyone who forgets the receipt in the confusion, but in this place it's a habit and if you ask for it they look at you askance.
It almost seems that no one controls those who abuse these attitudes.
Who knows if it will be like this next time too
