18/07/2026: Just outside Aversa, there's this beautiful restaurant, with a knowledgeable and friendly owner. They have a limited menu, which for me is always a sign of good cooking and the ability (or desire) to perhaps prepare a few dishes, but with high quality. The hot antipasto is one of my favorites. Perfect for two, well-priced and plentiful, with a few fried foods, beans in tomato sauce, some mozzarella, and white and red parmigiana, as well as a few sauces to dip the fried foods in. It's a unique experience, getting advice on how best to assemble a few things together. The first courses are always very good, from the Genovese (perhaps a little oily and lacking in meat) to the scarpariello. In summer, the trofie with mussels, zucchini, and pecorino cheese is a must-try. Their way of concluding a meal is also very unique, serving dried fruit, amaretti biscuits, and chocolate that can be enjoyed while chatting away the meal. They're generous, almost familiar in their approach to customer service. It was a wonderful Valentine's Day discovery a few years ago with my girlfriend, and since then it's been a must-visit on Sundays when we don't feel like cooking.

02/06/2026: On May 2, 2026, we celebrated our wedding in this magnificent villa, Villa Alba. Villa Alba immediately struck us, well-kept, with two beautiful swimming pools, the owner, Giovanni, an exquisite person who welcomed us from the first moment in a friendly and helpful manner, all the staff were also very kind and polite. Excellent food, from the buffet to the desserts and the cake. We will definitely return. We highly recommend it.

01/01/2026: What a pleasant discovery! I went there for lunch yesterday for the first time with my family. The place is cute and welcoming, but the real highlight is the staff, who immediately stand out for their friendliness and warmth. 🔝 Everyone was very satisfied, but my gluten-free pizza left me truly happy. 😊 Excellent dough, light enough that I could finish it without feeling half full, and the ingredients, especially the prosciutto, were top-quality. The slightly crispy crust, which I personally really like. All in all, an experience definitely worth repeating.

05/07/2026: Very high prices, ridiculously high cover charge. €3 per person seems absurd to me. The pizzas are unique, but that doesn't justify the inflated prices. Light dough, overall pleasant atmosphere.

07/05/2026: I order the pacchero with amberjack and get a plate of pasta with swordfish. Obviously, I don't eat it and point out to the waiter that they've ordered the wrong thing. He calls the owner, who in turn passes it on to the cook. Result? We wait while everyone disappears and no one offers an explanation. We get up and leave. We pay for everything properly, and only at the end does a lady come out from the back and say, "It's 100% amberjack; you probably got the toughest, most sinewy part of the fish." I feel sorry for them, but tonight they caught a person whose family owns several fishmongers in their city, and they know the difference between one fish and another very well (not just in appearance, but also in flavor). After all, you can't expect anything else from an owner who tells the waiter to serve "watered-down" limoncello to a couple of Japanese tourists. Dear restaurateurs, you should change jobs, and then let's not complain if people speak badly of us abroad.

03/05/2026: We had lunch here while passing through and it was a real pleasure. The food is delicious and the staff is friendly and helpful. The value for money is excellent. Highly recommended!

12/07/2026: The pizza and sandwiches were good, except for the pizza being covered in string from the porchetta. The only downside was a €21.12 cover charge for four of us sitting at a table made of battered wooden planks, spaced about 3 cm apart, with standing water underneath, resulting in mosquitoes galore. For a €21 cover charge, the San Leucio silk tablecloth was missing. Finally, they brought drinks without taking back the empty glasses and bottles. N.B.: I've never been argumentative or stingy, but enough is enough.

12/04/2026: A delightful discovery! The wait staff is attentive, precise, and highly qualified—everything you'd expect from a Michelin-starred restaurant. Excellent food, delicate and incredibly flavorful. The ambiance is a bit vintage, but still fits the outdoor setting. The desserts are good, but could be improved. We'll definitely be back!

07/09/2025: On our way back from the Ligabue concert, we found this well-kept and clean little place to stop for a post-concert bite. The owners and staff were incredibly helpful, and the food was excellent, which we were able to sample precisely because the owners kept the kitchen open later than expected. A lovely terrace and a very well-kept and well-appointed atmosphere completed the pleasant evening. Thank you so much for your hospitality, and sorry, but I was so hungry and the cured meats and cheese platter was so delicious that I forgot to take a photo. The eggplant meatballs are also delicious, definitely worth trying! The impressive selection of wines and spirits certainly allows you to try a variety of flavors, even those from faraway places. I noticed some Japanese spirits, very interesting!

13/06/2026: A well-kept and elegant restaurant, with outdoor dining available in the summer. The staff is very friendly and attentive to customer satisfaction. The menu is very varied and can satisfy even the most discerning palates. I tried a bun, the Dolce Alife, which I highly recommend; it comes with fries included in the price. My experience was truly positive; I'll be back. Importantly, this is a youth-led business. Let's help these young people, who are an example of those who love the area and decide to stay despite these unfavorable times for any type of business.

19/02/2026: I stopped here with my family, on our way down to Puglia from a very long journey, at 10:00 PM, asking to be seated. The very kind young man immediately said yes, but specified that due to the amount of work done, the mozzarella had run out. We decided that it was not a problem and stopped anyway. Never was a problem more propitious! We ordered one of their specialties as an appetizer (the parmigiana) then 3 pizzas with cheeses that could replace the mozzarella. Each one better than the other! Products of the highest, if not unique, quality! In addition to the well-leavened dough, beautifully honeycombed crust and super digestible. I didn't give 5 stars to the atmosphere only because I don't like the poor art style that doesn't match the refinement of the ingredients. The location needs to be reviewed but for now, best pizza ever.
