10/01/2026: Excellent dishes. There were nine of us, and we tried a little bit of everything, and everything was good, flavorful, and with just the right amount of attention to presentation. The price was a bit steep considering the house wine.
After two years, we returned to "Pacchiana," and I can confirm that it remains at a truly high level in terms of food quality and presentation. Some new appetizers, and that's what we needed. The grilled meats are standard, but truly superb. I agree with the rating based on the price, but that's fair enough. Right off the BN Caianiello highway, really easy to get to, with ample parking available.
08/01/2026: A big shout out to Renato, who knows how to treat and satisfy his guests in a unique way. Excellent service, beautiful location. A must-see for those of us who appreciate true, unadulterated flavor.

30/11/2025: Barrier-free hotel with no elevator; bathroom with shower stall missing a door; leaky toilet; cold room; tiny breakfast room with only two tables (minimal desserts) and closed at 7:40 AM (so we left and had to give up). Parking is difficult, but the hotel is close to the city center.
02/11/2025: I stayed at this hotel for one night and was really satisfied! The location is perfect, right in the heart of the city, just steps from the main tourist attractions. The room was clean and comfortable, with a comfy bed and all the necessary amenities.

01/01/2026: We spent New Year's Eve there: everything was perfect! The food was plentiful and excellent, the waiters were prompt and attentive to their customers' needs, the atmosphere was warm and relaxed, the music was exceptional, and the fun was top notch.

25/12/2025: I got some take-away pizzas and was pleasantly surprised, the dough was well-leavened and the ingredients were excellent. The best thing was that the next day the pizza tasted like it had just come out of the oven. The Sardinian pecorino cream was excellent, top notch!!!
20/12/2025: The pizzas are truly excellent, and it was a real surprise to eat them under the new management. You can really feel that the pizza itself seems the same, but as soon as you take the first bite you immediately realize that the dough is lighter and the mozzarella is much more present. In short, well done guys, I'm eagerly awaiting the new flavors.

28/01/2026: In Benevento, the tradition and quality of artisanal pizza meet the demands of modern times thanks to the new project by Alvaro Paolo Cocchiarella. He's well-known in the city for his pizzeria "In Italy." Last night, his pizzas had a true Neapolitan flavor, and his fried foods stunned our palates. Artisanal fast isn't just a slogan, but an important ingredient in his creations.
This time, however, the experience had a unique twist worth sharing: everything was picked up for takeout. Yet, what often represents a limitation—transport, time, the risk of losing flavor and temperature—transformed into a demonstration of expertise and care. The packaging designed by Cocchiarella is a true ally of quality: solid, insulated, well-ventilated, capable of preserving the structure of the dough and the crispiness of the fried foods without compromise. Opening the boxes once we got home was like sitting at a table in the restaurant, with the same intense aromas and the same promise of flavor.
The pizza, even after the journey, was impeccable. The dough retained its elasticity and lightness, a sign of well-managed leavening and meticulous baking. The crust, still soft and fragrant, spoke of an expert hand and respected ingredients. The tomato released a lively aroma, the mozzarella was still stringy, and the basil, despite having endured the journey, retained a surprisingly fresh scent. A pizza that not only stands up to takeout, but enhances it, proving that when technique is solid, quality can stand the test of time.

06/12/2025: You order on a screen, just like at McDonald's. The pizza is small but delicious. It's quick and the service is friendly. The restrooms are spotless. Excellent value for money.

29/08/2025: I stumbled upon it by chance and returned. The welcome was warm, friendly, and clean. I asked for an early dinner, and they obliged. The food was fantastic and plentiful. The prices were fair. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll definitely return.

04/11/2025: No 3 stars only because the ingredients are of good quality. The only thing with the first courses was that the pasta was good but the ingredients didn't quite hold together, for example the tagliatelle, pumpkin, speck, and mushrooms were good individually but together they didn't work well because you couldn't taste a precise flavor, the same goes for the ravioli with honey, etc. etc. The waiters, the girl was good and hardworking, the other 2 men didn't seem to even want to explain a dish to the customer, and when you called them, they turned away and it almost seemed like you were bothering them. Price, let's say, is normal.

25/09/2025: I was here yesterday for a dear friend's baby shower, and it was a wonderful discovery! A lovely, welcoming place, perfect for events with children: plenty of space, a relaxed atmosphere, and everything was very well-kept.
10/08/2025: Terrible experience, incredibly long waits, not to mention the failure to deliver a drink, after the entire table had already been served, and then a pizza. Only at the end, after a reminder, did the pizza arrive, but the table was already at the cafe... I took the pizza away, I'd lost my appetite.

Difficulty viewing the menu QR code (I had to go outside to see the menu).
Poor service (we ordered a €35 sparkling wine and it was served poorly: it was opened and left on the table).

14/09/2025: I'll start by saying that I don't usually write reviews; I do them when I want to praise a place or when (as in this case) the overall rating on Google is very different from my experience.
We booked a table for three people for 9:15 PM and showed up on time.
No one at the front desk knew about our reservation, but our order was taken half an hour after we arrived.
Well, we ate our pizza two hours after arriving (close to closing time), while other people decided to leave in the meantime.
Given that, being there for the first time, we wanted to give the benefit of the doubt and assume it was just one of those classic nights where everything goes to pieces and there's little to manage, what really went wrong?
1. In the middle of our wait, we were told that our pizzas would exceptionally arrive early, in about five minutes (and they arrived an hour later).
2. There was considerable discomfort between us and the waiters, and this was obvious, but there are alternatives to sterile, albeit well-intentioned, apologies (offering a coffee at the end of the meal, a dessert, or whatever).
Well, these last two points differentiate the good management of a bad evening from a careless and improvised one.
And it's a shame, because the foundations for offering a welcoming place and high-quality food are there.

15/11/2025: I booked a table at 7:10pm for 4 people, for 8:30/9:00pm we arrived at the restaurant at 8:50pm and the table was occupied, I was asked to wait without apologizing or anything...unfortunately I can only give one star otherwise I would have given 0...it's shameful.

07/12/2025: A nightmare... We waited 1 hour and 30 minutes for four pizzas. My wife and the other couple ordered three regular pizzas, and I can't tell you... it was disgusting. I ordered a whole wheat pizza, and after a very long wait, having repeatedly urged the waitress, these pizzas arrived... I repeat, they were absolutely disgusting. My flat one was hard and unleavened. It was obvious they didn't have the dough ready, and only then did they mix a little whole wheat flour with water without letting it rise in the oven, and then serve it at the table. We left everything on the table. We paid €50 for four (inedible) pizzas and two bottles of water, without having eaten anything. We will never return. Highly discouraged pizzeria.
