09/10/2025: A disgrace. The restaurant is called What's Amore, but there's no love or respect for the customer here. We came with my daughter for lunch and ordered the raw seafood: the oysters weren't fresh, had a bitter taste, and smelled bad. When we asked to change them, the waitress said "that's just how they are" and brought another—the same and inedible. The pasta with clams? First overcooked, then raw. After two attempts, we gave up. The mixed fried fish was also almost inedible, with the bitter taste of old, unrefreshed oil. In the end, almost 80 euros for a bad meal and arrogant service. When I complained, the waitress said she "didn't want to talk to us." What's Amore? No love, just disappointment. 01/10/2025: Very welcoming atmosphere, just a few minutes' walk from Tropea train station. The food is excellent. I highly recommend the appetizer for two and the first course of square spaghetti with meat sauce and black pig cheek. Service is excellent, and the staff is friendly and welcoming.

27/09/2025: I only had two nights in Tropea and stumbled on Fame da Lupi while walking the strip. The meats in the window pulled me in, and I finally got the Florentinian steak I’d been craving. Perfectly cooked, paired with roasted veggies and Sicilian wine — unforgettable. I loved it so much I went back the next night. The chef’s slow-cooked ribs with roasted potatoes were incredible, and the atmosphere was just as inviting. Both nights I ended up making friends at nearby tables — that’s the vibe here. One of the best dining experiences I’ve had in Italy. Don’t miss it!
