19/05/2025: Absolutely loved this quaint restaurant. Service was without fault. Wonderful sommelier and great wines. Food was outstanding. We came back for a second visit during our 5 days in Tropea. It was, for us, the stand out meal of two weeks visiting Rome/Reggio Calabria and Tropea

16/11/2024: Update, this summer I go to get a braid with almonds and they give me the one from the day before, it was rubbery and also much smaller than last year's, I point out to them that it was from the day before, that it was rubbery and as always they climb up the mirrors, the funniest thing is when I tell them that they were smaller than other years and they find the excuse that they had come out smaller, in fact the next day I go in to get another one and notice that they were the same old ones from the day before, I left without buying anything, they won't see me again, shame for the tourists who are literally almost made fun of....., the pos?? they don't even know what it is, it's always broken, the receipt on request... This year I came back, in July I always took the ice cream cone with cream "3 ice cream scoops plus cream, always paid €4, end of July same ice cream cone 3 ice cream scoops with cream €4.50, I point out that I had always paid €4 and they climb up the mirrors saying that evidently "for 10 times, even herself" they were wrong, but who are they trying to kid, I return at the end of August, always ice cream cone with cream €4.50, the problem is that this time instead of 3 ice cream scoops they put 2, I point out that normally they were 3 ice cream scoops and they arrogantly curse me for a liar "as the people of Tropea very often, always want to be right", he tells me that if I wanted he would put the third scoop even if it wasn't foreseen, I make him put it on, it's not about the money but the mockery The mask is optional, you ask him to put it on "even if they have to put it on by law" but they pretend nothing happened, unfortunately Tropea checks are not carried out, the police were around but nobody was checking

02/06/2025: Visited twice. First evening we were drawn in by the great 80’s music. Loved it. Dined and had fun. Food was good and service great. Then, we reserved a place for the next evening, for 21:00, outside. They even wrote it down. We came a bit early, and waited in the pub next door. When we approached the restaurant, we were told there was no place outside. I said it was written in their ledger. They said yes, and moved a couple inside. However, the table we got was under the big screen TV broadcasting a football match between PSJ and Milan. Very loud. Impossible. We felt disregarded and insulted. Took our things and went away without having dinner there. A “reserved” sign in a decent place would be the correct thing to do. Disrespect will not bring customers back.

26/05/2025: Very nice food and dessert. Ambiente and the music was amazing! Definitely one of the best places to be in tropea.

03/06/2025: Place chosen while walking through the center of Tropea .... near the breathtaking panoramic terrace ... Excellent and quality food ... the smiling staff .. welcoming and kind .... we took different dishes but all excellent ... pasta .. fish ... pizza. Highly recommended

18/05/2025: Decent hotel short walk from downtown. Rooms are very plain and the showers are tiny (and the water shifts between cold and scalding hot). Breakfast is decent. Dinner food is terrible.

26/04/2025: My wife and I stayed 3 nights at the Tropis Hotel. Fabulous. Top welcome. Super 10+++ cleanliness everywhere.. in the room.. the reception.. in the restaurant.. the bathrooms! No. 1 Hygiene and all perfect! Everything done to perfection. Congratulations and thank you. Stay to repeat.
