22/08/2025: I'd like to point out that our review is for the new VILLA KLOPE property, and we're giving it 4 stars because the location and dinner were top-notch. Otherwise, we'd have to give it 3 stars. We got married in this new venue on August 9th. What can I say? The location was beautiful, the dinner and chef were exceptional. So far, everything was fine. On a sore point, zero, and I repeat zero, coordination between the director Rossana, who from the first day we chose to get married here kept repeating "quietly, quietly," with a somewhat pedantic and detached manner, almost as if she were doing us a favor... Not to mention the "I'll take care of it," we'll take care of coordinating everything... And lastly, it's a shame I don't know his name, but I'll try to make it clear who we're talking about (a waiter in his fifties with glasses who served the tables). He was unnaturally rude, making friendly advances with the guests without anyone's permission, rude in his manner and in his responses to customers... Gentlemen, I must truly emphasize the inconvenience we experienced. It felt like a race against time. They cut the music for the entertainers and musicians because we had to set off fireworks promptly at 12:00 AM, and since there was... There was an order, we had to respect the time... It was a nightmare; we spent 20 minutes of nerves and discomfort. I highly recommend everyone set off fireworks between courses so you can enjoy the dinner calmly and, above all, the various entertainment that takes place between courses, because that's your day... And I forgot, maybe you could ask the maître d' to confer with the musicians so they can inform all the guests about the various services the couple and the venue offer, such as: Open bar Cake (to be served at the buffet), since you didn't bring it to the guests' table Champagne Etc... 04/08/2025: Arriving in Tropea for the first time, a town with stunning colors. For lunch, I chose this restaurant, and it exceeded my expectations. The welcome was excellent; despite the large crowd, they seated us after just a few minutes! The staff was friendly and helpful. The traditional dishes were very tasty and high-quality. What can I say? When I return to Tropea, I'll definitely eat there again!

30/07/2025: I've eaten at this restaurant and had a truly excellent experience. I ordered the Ton Crudo sandwich and was impressed from the first bite: the tuna was fresh, well-sliced, and full of flavor, with the toppings carefully placed, without overdoing it. A sandwich with simple ingredients but made beautifully. One thing that really pleased me was the kindness of the staff: they were friendly, smiling, and helpful right from the start. As soon as I sat down, they also offered me fried calamari, hot and crispy, delicious. A significant gesture that shows care and attention to the customer. At this restaurant, you can see the staff always put in effort and passion. The only downside is that there aren't always tables to sit at. A very positive experience, I would definitely go back. Highly recommended.

30/07/2025: We stumbled upon this snack bar by chance. The crowd and the good reviews persuaded us to stay, and we didn't regret it. From the moment we ordered, we received incredibly warm service. Our lack of Italian wasn't a problem. The food is all delicious and definitely worth the money. The mixed bags cost an average of €13, but they're filling. You order inside and wait at the window, where your number is called out. The wait is a little longer at lunchtime, but it's worth it. At the end, when we thanked them for the delicious food, ALL of the staff personally said goodbye to us with a heart gesture. Everyone was just so lovely. What a fantastic experience!

30/07/2025: Abbiamo cenato in famiglia, prenotando alle 20, e potendo godere di un tramonto stupendo con lo Stromboli all'orizzonte. Nel giardino sulla terrazza tavoli tondi, ampi, comodi, molto spazio, ambiente accogliente. Ma più di tutto abbiamo mangiato veramente bene, piatti perfetti, gustosi e ben presentati. Consigliatissimi gli spaghetti alle alici, gli spaghetti cozze e vongole, la carbonara di mare. Ottimo il polpo per antipasto. Fritto misto buono ma un po' scarso nella porzione, ottima la tagliata di tonno con cipolle di Tropea. Giusto rapporto qualità/prezzo

28/07/2025: I discovered this restaurant through Maps. After visiting Riaci Beach, before returning to Capo Vaticano, we stopped to eat at this splendid place with a sea view. The food is top-notch. It's a shame it's a windy day. The water is a gorgeous color. The portions are generous and the first courses are delicious. We couldn't order a second course because the portions were so large.

15/08/2025: Always a pleasure to return. A must-visit for mushroom lovers: the mushroom carpaccio, fried mushrooms, and sautéed mushrooms are particularly delicious. Impeccable service. Excellent value.

12/08/2025: Classic location with parking in front. The restaurant offers meat dishes with off-menu options depending on the season and availability (they also offer fish dishes). We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the mushrooms, both sautéed and fried. The mushroom and porcini scilatelle and the wild boar steak were very good, as were the baked potatoes. Excellent value for money (€10-€12 for starters, €8-€20 for main courses, and €3-€8 for side dishes). Antonio's service was excellent.

08/08/2025: It was super welcoming, they make delicious pipi and potatoes and a spectacular barbecue and everything else is exquisite

04/08/2025: Ottimo hotel accogliente, pulito , a 5 minuti a piedi dal centro e dalla stazione ferroviaria Camera silenziosa, con vista mare e con ampio terrazzino. Materasso comodissimo. Cambio quotidiano asciugamani e telo doccia. La colazione e la cena a buffet sono ricche, varie e gustose Complimenti allo chef ed al maitre per la gestione della sala pranzo Il personale è gentile e disponibile. La navetta che porta al lido Alex ( ottima la sua pizza margherita ) è puntuale e rispettosa degli orari indicati dall’hotel . Peccato per la spiaggia risicata e per gli ombrelloni troppo vicini . Auspicabile che in futuro si contemplino per la navetta orari che diano la possibilità di scendere a mare nel tardo pomeriggio e risalire in serata per poter osservare il tramonto che è bellissimo

01/07/2025: An excellent restaurant for dinner in the area. Very pleasant atmosphere with a rustic taste. Not a very extensive menu but all the ingredients are top quality and fresh. Even the pasta seems to be homemade and not packaged. In particular, I recommend the tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms among the first courses, they really have an excellent overall balance. The pizza is no exception; the dough of the latter is really light with excellent leavening (zero digestion problems). Even for the pizza, very fresh ingredients are used. I recommend the "Tropeana", a perfect expression of the flavors of the area. This restaurant was my reference for three nights in a row, without making me feel the need to look for something else. Recommended. I will definitely return on my next stop in the area.

13/03/2025: We have been going to the Locanda three times now and every time it is a fantastic experience! Chef Rosario is always kind, creative and super available for our every need! The menu is a discovery of traditional Calabrian flavors accompanied at the same time by many other creative and innovative dishes from the chef. Finally, the impeccable service and the welcoming atmosphere make the Locanda the perfect place for a lunch or dinner with friends. In short: always a guarantee

26/07/2025: Durante l'acquisto di alcuni prodotti tipici, ci siamo fatti consigliare un ristorantino di pesce, subito ci hanno indicato l'Hobbit Risto-Pub, un ristorante accogliente e confortevole dove si mangia divinamente. L'antipasto misto di mare era eccezionale con prodotti freschissimi e di altissima qualità, per non parlare dei primi piatti preparati con passione e amore dallo chef e proprietario Andrea, per poi completare con una frittura che non sembrava neanche passata nell'olio per quanto asciutta. Oltre all'ottimo cibo Andrea è stato un'ottimo padrone di casa. Consigliatissimo
