06/06/2025: The view of the Gran Sasso is amazing... Service is average Quality food, considering the location, but you can find food like this almost everywhere in mountain restaurants... In the restaurants in the municipality of Crognaleto it is the same if not better... The environment is too noisy... I recommend studying something for the echo of the voice...

21/07/2025: This is the second time we've been back, the first time by chance, the second time we drove 120km because we knew the food would be divine. The receipt also includes a bottle of wine that I took away. I'll post some photos.

05/08/2025: A delightful seaside bar, fantastic for breakfast and throughout the day, including lunch and aperitifs. Plenty of tables both in the sun and shade. The entire staff is extremely friendly and efficient, truly skilled. A must-visit for anyone going to the beach or staying in the area.

06/07/2025: We went to this restaurant for a business dinner. The food was good, the quality/price ratio was fair. The service was a bit slow because we had to remind ourselves several times to bring water or other things that were missing from the table. It can happen... but it was very good. Thanks

17/08/2025: Restaurant/farmhouse in the countryside, nice place, we had good hot and cold appetizers and good grilled meats, all for four, two bottles of water and half a liter of red wine, we spent 92 euros, honest in line with the prices of the area. The service was fast (a tip for customers: bring the menu).

20/07/2025: Il Grillo is an authentic agriturismo where the dishes are plentiful and authentic. The prices are reasonable, but the quality is undoubtedly very high. The mixed antipasto is incredibly good, as are the first and second courses. Highly recommended!

19/08/2025: The location is beautiful, with a well-maintained entrance, a large green space to the right, and well-lit tables to the left. The "painted" dishes are also beautiful. The wait staff is friendly and professional. Cacio e ova balls, Ascoli olives, stewed cod, and cannelloni. Two tiramisu dishes. Only the appetizers were good. The cod was more rubbery than usual. The cannelloni were drowned in a tomato and cream sauce. The tiramisu was below average for local restaurants. It seemed like a style of cooking still rooted in 1980s flavors.

20/07/2025: €4 for a medium yogurt without even having the chance to put anything underneath (the employee, without giving me a chance to tell her, immediately put the yogurt on the cup), poorly arranged and with very little. BABY YOGURT (where nothing fits) €3. Having worked seriously in the industry, this is disgraceful. The only positive note: the yogurt was reasonably good (like many others).

13/07/2025: I went for the first time last night. They have a wide selection, even lactose-free. It's super good and creamy! I'll definitely be back! ♥️

05/08/2025: A little out of the way We tried the good pucce. Unfortunately, we had to stay inside because of the bad weather; the room isn't soundproofed, so there was a lot of reverberation. Maybe if we had stayed outside, it would have been better.

18/07/2025: We had a fantastic meal. We had the meat and cheese platter and the three fried appetizers. Absolutely delicious! Then we had the focaccia caprese and puccia entrecote. It was so delicious! We finished with a wonderful dessert. They had a great selection of wines.

19/08/2025: I own a BMW 430. This morning I slashed a tire due to a pothole. I called CSA for help; they responded immediately and within minutes, they had organized a meeting. Within half an hour, we were loading the car with the utmost care, given its low weight. I recommend their service to anyone! Qualified and professional staff!

21/07/2025: The mechanic performed a true miracle. Our transmission broke during a steep climb. He came to check on us, even though it was Sunday. He loaded us onto the tow truck and the next day found the part we needed for the repair, so we were ready to go again. He saved our vacation and charged very little for such a service. We highly recommend him: the utmost professionalism and a job done truly well. Thank you so much, Fabrizio, you saved us – two girls from Poland.

27/07/2025: At 9:00 pm we asked for a table for two, requested by a young man, if we had booked, we said no, being on holiday at the seaside we had decided to visit Tortoreto Alto, I would like to point out that half of the outdoor and indoor tables were empty, we asked to be placed at a free outdoor table but an adult gentleman who was serving the tables replied that they were used for three or four people despite the fact that a few minutes after us two young men and a couple arrived and were seated as a couple at tables used for four while we were denied, we sat down and ordered and waited over an hour despite the reminders while those after us were served immediately, terrible service, total disorganization and lack of professionalism.

23/07/2025: The hot appetizer showed a few flashes of flair (the fish tripe was good), but everything else was just average. The clams were completely tasteless, practically boiled. The fried food was adequate. Service was extremely slow and uncoordinated. Orders were lost/mistaken. I wouldn't recommend it; there's plenty of room for improvement. The location is nice, neutral, with a large play area for kids. Frankly, I wouldn't return.

21/07/2025: 2 stars for the friendly service, the food was very bad. Several dishes for 3 people were all tasteless, and the shells had absolutely no flavor. I do not recommend them.

29/07/2025: Abbiamo pranzato mangiando cose buonissime. Frittura top. Personale gentile, efficiente ed attento. Servizio veloce e puntuale. Si consiglia di prenotare il tavolo vista la grande affluenza. Consigliatissimo.

27/07/2025: Attesa molto lunga, sia per sederci che per mangiare. Prenotato alle 14:30, ci siamo seduti alle 15, poi altra mezz'ora di attesa per due piatti di spaghetti alle vongole. Pasta fresca ma cruda, frittura di pesce invece piuttosto buona. I prezzi sono bassi, considerando il periodo e il posto, però evidentemente quando c'è molta gente vanno un po' in crisi.
