05/02/2026: We stayed at Hotel degli Olmi in Villetta Barrea and it was a truly wonderful experience. The property is welcoming, well-maintained, and immersed in a stunning natural setting, perfect for relaxing and fully enjoying the Abruzzo National Park.
The rooms are clean, comfortable, and quiet, ideal after a day of hiking or walking in the village.
A special thanks goes to the owners, Agnese and Adriano, who are extraordinary people: always available, kind, and ready to satisfy every need with a smile. Their attention to guests truly makes the difference and makes you feel at home.
Highly recommended for those seeking tranquility, authentic hospitality, and a perfect starting point for exploring Villetta Barrea and its surroundings. We will definitely be back!

11/11/2025: On November 1st and 2nd, 2025, I took a group of 24 people, half of whom also stayed on Friday.
The facility was dated, but the rooms were warm and clean. Having booked half board, we were fortunate enough to sample authentic and plentiful cuisine.
The group was happy, and we'll be back.
02/11/2025: The hotel is dated but well-maintained, very clean, and the staff is very kind and available to meet customer needs. The breakfast was very good.

11/01/2026: On our way home, we stopped at this Bar Ristoro, and I have to say, congratulations, we enjoyed everything we ate, more than we expected from a bar, simple atmosphere and friendly staff, fair price for what we ate! Just one piece of advice, you could bring some mushrooms, it gets really cold on the veranda. Otherwise, everything was good, we'll be back to visit you again.
28/12/2025: I had excellent tagliatelle with wild boar sauce and sautéed chicory. While waiting, they offered me a small plate of lentils with crostini. Fast service and excellent ingredients.
