14/08/2025: Excellent sandwiches, we tried the pulled chicken one: delicate, different, not dry, very good. Maybe they could have used a little more guacamole, but I admit the sandwich risked becoming too moist and therefore difficult to eat. The fries are among the best I've ever had, very crunchy!

26/07/2025: Interesting pizzeria restaurant. Very attentive and professional service, elegant atmosphere, and quality food. Reasonably priced.

14/07/2025: For two social dinners organized as part of a conference program, we dined at this restaurant, which is clean, tidy, and welcoming, run by competent and very helpful staff. The first evening featured pizza, while the second featured more local cuisine using traditional ingredients. On both occasions, the dishes and the table arrangements were appreciated (despite the large group). Personally, I found the interior and exterior aesthetics of the restaurant very appealing.

09/09/2025: The atmosphere of the old taverns has fortunately not been lost here. The food is typical Trentino, harking back to when this was a borderland between the Republic of Venice and the Austro-Hungarian Empire. Try the bigoli with sardines, and save room for the tiramisu. They don't take reservations. Arrive as soon as they open 7-7:30 PM or later, around 9 PM. Otherwise, it's worth the wait.

06/09/2025: Great panini and tipical food. Nice and relaxed atmosphere, especially outdoors. No bookings allowed and it does get busy, no matter the day. So, best to get there at opening time and avoid the queue. Always check out the special of the day, rabbit with mushroom and polenta is out of this world.

15/06/2025: We were looking for a place to go and eat a good cut of meat. We booked for Saturday night at 8 (I recommend booking). I would say that the place lived up to expectations and in some ways exceeded them. Excellent welcome, the owner is friendly and nice. Excellent food. Almost everything homemade. We had an appetizer of cold cuts and cheeses that we split in two, excellent products. Special mention for the pickles obviously homemade. Then we had a second course, I had an excellent picaña with an excellent homemade cimichurri sauce (you must like garlic). My wife instead had the Angus tagliata equally excellent and perfectly cooked medium. Also homemade desserts. Cheesecake and Crema Catalana. On the other hand, an excellent experience, we ate out when the evening allowed. We will certainly return, maybe at midday to try the first courses. At the time the owner explained to me that the selection of aging meat is limited in the summer period, but this is also something that we will try again later. Obviously recommended.

01/06/2025: We visited Al Lupo with five people (two adults and three children) and were absolutely thrilled! Even though we arrived just before the lunch break, we received a warm welcome and very friendly service – the service was attentive, spoke good English, and was also child-friendly. The main courses were excellent – ​​freshly prepared, authentic, and delicious. For dessert, we had tiramisu and semifreddo al limone – both were dreamy and the perfect end to the meal. A fantastic Italian restaurant with genuine hospitality and excellent cuisine. Al Lupo – we'd love to come back!

12/09/2025: Osteria del Pettirosso is a firm favourite in Rovereto: an intimate atmosphere, quality Trentino cuisine including canederli, carne salada, tartare, and homemade desserts. Excellent wines. Thanks to Paolo, always passionate and available. Highly recommended!

11/09/2025: The experience at this osteria was overall positive. The dishes were well-cooked, visually appealing, and presented with attention to detail. The passion behind the preparation of the dishes was evident, and they were both tasty and well-balanced. A less convincing aspect, however, was the bill, which was quite high. Some details, such as the water served on tap (not in a sealed bottle) at €2.50 for half a liter, were a bit perplexing and contributed to the feeling of a price that wasn't entirely reasonable. Worth mentioning, however, was the friendliness and cordiality of Mr. Michele, who added a human and pleasant touch to the experience. In summary: excellent cuisine and a warm welcome, but the quality/price ratio could be improved.

08/09/2025: Exceptionally visited for the Salgado exhibition. But the museum is also worth a visit for its permanent collection.

06/09/2025: Mario Botta's architecture overwhelms you upon first seeing the MART Museum in Rovereto. The museum's interior is very spacious, allowing for a relaxed visit to the exhibitions. We visited three exhibitions: two excellently curated photography exhibitions, one of which was Trentino Unexpected, offering insights into Trentino from photographers from outside the region. These insights are indeed unexpected, but equally interesting for that. The photography exhibition Giacchiai (Glacier) by the recently deceased Sebastiao Salgado is simply overwhelming, impressive, and challenges you to engage with the topic of climate change. The MART's permanent contemporary collection is also challenging, as it features many interesting artists who may not be familiar and requires you to take the time to get to know them. A visit to the MART Rovereto is highly recommended.

12/09/2025: I had a pizza Diavolo and my wife a pizza tonno. It's definitely in the top 5 of best pizza dough, nice and light and crispy. And lots of cheese on the pizza. In a very nice way.

17/08/2025: We stopped by by chance on our way back from vacation and found a real gem. Delicious gelato, EVERYTHING GLUTEN-FREE, both cones and gelato, and no risk of cross-contamination. They also make gluten-free and lactose-free pastries. We'll definitely be back.

20/08/2025: Trattoria near the Mart Museum. As soon as you enter, you're transported to another era. Daily specials and also à la carte. An elderly lady served us immediately and was very kind. Delicious traditional dishes and excellent value. Substantial dishes. We'll return as soon as possible.
