Hidden away in a small alley. Amazing! Super fluffy dough, crispy and delicious! Highly recommended!

We dined at Il Doge restaurant in Rovereto and had a truly excellent experience. To begin, we sampled a savory speck strudel, original and delicious, followed by a generous platter of excellent cured meats and cheeses. Among the first courses, we were won over by the cacio e pepe risotto with shrimp tartare: a refined, well-balanced dish with a surprising flavor. The second courses were the real highlight of the evening: the roast duck was simply amazing, tender and flavorful, while the char accompanied by a delicious vegetable ratatouille was cooked to perfection. The pork shank was also excellent, tender and rich in flavor. Finally, the desserts are definitely worth a try: the perfect finale to a high-quality dinner. Friendly service, a pleasant atmosphere, and attention to detail in the cuisine. A restaurant we recommend without hesitation and will definitely return to!

5 stars all for Brian, who makes a truly exceptional pizza with chickpea cream, arugula, cherry tomatoes, and mushrooms using a multigrain dough (vegan). Every time I go to Rovereto, I can't help but stop and eat it. Brian creates a cheerful and welcoming atmosphere and prepares pizzas with great passion!

We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance, as the opening hours weren't displayed today. But sometimes you get lucky. This restaurant is incredibly good, the likes of which you'll hardly find. The appetizer, beef carpaccio, was excellent. The main course, two different pizzas, was amazing. We have never eaten such good pizza before! And that's saying something! The rest of the food that's brought to the tables looks stunning, and everyone else seems very satisfied. The interior is very rustic and attractively decorated, and the staff is very attentive and absolutely friendly. Even to non-Italians! A truly great place.

Very characteristic place, small and cozy with beautiful stone vaults, very polite staff, good food, I was a little disappointed by the dumplings, I found them hard, otherwise everything was good, prices a little high but perhaps related to the context

A restaurant in the center of Rovereto, located in the former crypt of the church. The walls are the original ones. A staircase leads to the first floor, but there's also a second seating area on the ground floor where they make pizza in a wood-fired oven. We had the risotto, which didn't impress us, a bit salty and overcooked, while the polenta with mushrooms was delicious, along with vegetables and a trio of tortelli. The appetizer portions are generous, and all the cheeses offered are decidedly good. The young woman who served us was very nice and polite, and the service was quick in a distinguished and intimate setting. The price is fair for the quality and the dishes are as described in the menu photos.

iL Doge at the Scala del Redentore is a real hidden gem. First-class food and warm hospitality are what make this restaurant stand out. Grazie per la Birra, tornermo sicuramente :-)

2024 I got their beef cheek with a side of truffled purple yam puree. It was delicious. The meat was tender and full of flavor. Staff was very attentive and polite. Thank you to everyone. 2026 Returned here again and had their caccio e peppe risotto with shrimp. Still delicious. Service was great too! Doesnt get any more local than this. Grazie to chef Miru.
