Our recent vacation at Hotel RivaMia was simply perfect, and much of the credit goes to the exceptional hospitality and professionalism of the staff, especially Mr. Renato. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the welcoming atmosphere and attention to detail that distinguishes the hotel. The location is ideal for fully enjoying the area. The attached restaurant deserves special mention. Every meal was a true delight, with dishes combining authentic flavors and exquisite presentation. The quality of the ingredients is evident, and the service is always attentive and courteous. However, what made our experience truly unforgettable was the discreet yet essential presence of Mr. Renato. His sensitivity and innate ability to anticipate our every need made all the difference. With his availability and genuine smile, he managed to create a serene and relaxing atmosphere, making us feel pampered and at ease at all times. He's not only an exemplary professional, but also a person who genuinely cares about the well-being of his guests. 22/07/2025: We went to the Zefiro restaurant for a special occasion. Everything, from the food to the hospitality, was perfect. The waiters were helpful, professional, and extremely knowledgeable in explaining the dishes the chef was preparing. Traditional Trentino dishes, revisited with a modern twist! Very interesting. At the end of the evening, we also had the opportunity to chat with the chef, a very pleasant and, obviously, very knowledgeable person. We will be back. Thank you for a pleasant evening. 12/05/2025: Excellent atmosphere and service. The restaurant is located in a slightly hidden corner of one of the small squares on the shore overlooking Lake Garda, surrounded by historic buildings. The prawns in salt were good while the cacio e pepe risotto with tuna tartare did not convince us, the tuna completely overwhelmed by the other flavours. However, rice cooking and creaming were perfect. Good prices compared to the quality of the food and the location

22/08/2025: When the internet helps you.... Positive reviews, we choose this trattoria, leaving the highway behind. The town doesn't have much parking, especially if you have to park within 7 meters. Luck is on our side, though. Lisa and Diego welcomed us with their friendliness and eloquence. She also speaks English, so foreigners should stop here to enjoy simple, affordable home-style Italian cuisine. Today, which was Sunday, the €23 menu included a first and second course with a side dish, excluding drinks. We had a great time, as if we were longtime friends. We'll definitely come back.

22/08/2025: Food “correct” meaning that you will forget about it before you leave the premises. Pasta e patate - a culinary disaster, probably added to the menu for a joke. Polpette al ragù quite good, if it weren't for the fact that I got a wasp in the package - maybe a local version of “protein extra”? They add €2.2 service per person to the bill, but the waiter won't stoop to bring it anyway - the tourist has to go and pay on his own, after all, the vacations are the perfect time for extra exercise. Service? Let's just say that it's cooler than beer from the fridge. In general, if you want to feel like an intruder and not a guest - this place will be a hit. Otherwise - run away somewhere else

15/08/2025: I fell in love with this place years ago. The welcome, courtesy, and friendliness of the owner and her daughters (whose names I don't remember) is unique to me. The food, I'd say, is excellent! The cabbage gnocchi are unforgettable, the cured meat exquisite. Once I wanted a change, I chose a pizza...I'll always remember it. Thank you so much, I hope to visit you again soon.

21/06/2025: Great place ... out of style. I really appreciated the friendliness of the service and the excellent cutting board (the mustard was great) accompanied by a truly surprising Bocka di Rosa (amber on tap). The Birramisú was also excellent. Highly recommended.

24/08/2025: The staff is fantastic, both kind and friendly. I also liked the idea of ​​being in a real Roman osteria—nothing too fancy that would make me feel uncomfortable. We had a Gricia and a carbonara, both excellent. The price might be a little higher than average, but the quality makes up for it. We'll definitely be back.

27/07/2025: Functional for a few days, but the rooms need updating. Just a few weeks before our vacation, my partner and I were looking for affordable accommodation near Riva. The Hotel Rudy is located about 2 kilometers north of the city center. We walked there almost every evening to enjoy a (really delicious) meal. When we arrived, we tried to check in about two hours before the stated check-in time. The friendly staff member made sure our room was cleaned with priority, and we only had to wait half an hour. Our room on the second floor was easily accessible by both the elevator and the (fairly narrow) stairs. The door was a bit awkward to open, and the room key was very old-school (no card or anything like that) and clunky. The room opened onto two balconies, from which we had a direct view of the main street. One room had two seats and a small table, but unfortunately, due to the very bad weather for the end of July, we couldn't make use of them. The furnishings and fittings are a bit dated and very worn. The bathroom, especially the shower, is very small and difficult to use even for slim people. The bathroom door (see photo) had disgusting stains, and I didn't even want to know where they came from. The beds were quite deep, but functional. The biggest drawback for us was actually the very thin and thin walls. Combined with "great" neighbors who don't know how to sleep well at night, last night was a complete nightmare. The street noise is also quite loud; if you're sensitive to this, you should ask for another room. We visited the pool twice. It's beautifully quiet, large enough for cooling off, and offers sunbathing space for around 25 hotel guests. If the weather is good and you don't necessarily want to swim laps, it's perfectly adequate. The breakfast was delicious throughout our entire vacation, the selection was absolutely sufficient, and there was always something to suit everyone. I think everyone will find something to their liking here. We didn't use the hotel restaurant during our stay. Overall, the hotel is highly recommended for a short trip to Lake Garda (with a few reservations). However, there are certainly more modern options available at a comparable price.

18/07/2025: Very friendly staff 👍 Cozy pool area Great breakfast. We stayed there for 7 days. It's a 5-minute bike ride to the center of Riva del Garda. The only downside is the bathroom, which was unfortunately too small.

12/08/2025: Was truly the worst burger restaurant I've ever eaten in. I paid €19 for my burger, which came without any sides, and €6 for onion rings. The music was way too loud, so you could hardly have a conversation. The burger had no sauce and tasted almost entirely of meat (which wasn't anything special), and the cheese was really disgusting. It tasted like it came from a microwaved burger, so really disgusting. The onion rings I ordered as a side were good, but for some reason they arrived about 30 minutes before the burger. Overall, it was a really long wait for the main course (about 45 minutes). But it was also a bit busier. It's also worth mentioning that there were only about 8-10 onion rings in the tray, which is far too few for the price. So, in the end, I paid €30 for the burger, side, and drink, and I didn't even finish my meal because I found it really disgusting towards the end. I really don't recommend it.
