08/01/2026: A quick lunch on the terrace on a wonderful sunny day with a breathtaking view of many Dolomite peaks! We ordered polenta with sausage and cheese, truly delicious! The service was quick and courteous despite the crowds due to the skiers. The prices aren't cheap, of course, but I think they're appropriate for the location. In these cases, you're not just paying for the dish, but also for the location, which is truly incredible! Five years ago, we stopped by for a delicious afternoon snack, and Baita Checco is still the best! Well done!

18/01/2026: A cozy place with good food, more on the homely side than savory. The ravioli was very tasty, but the penne ragu was very average (not enough sauce for the pasta). The panna cotta was delicious. I think it's worth checking out and trying it out for yourself.

16/01/2026: The food was good, but unfortunately it wasn't worth the price. The burger was dry and there was no sauce inside, so the overall impression was rather average. For a burger for €17, I expected more. However, the atmosphere of the restaurant and the service were very pleasant.

16/09/2025: After a strenuous climb, we reached the hut in the rain. Due to the weather, we extended our stay by one night. We were very pleased with the facilities and, above all, the delicious and plentiful food. The hut's host family welcomed us warmly, and we felt very comfortable.

11/02/2026: Bad experience. We booked ahead. When we arrived, they told us we had to sit in the basement... my friend, who had been there before, asked if she could have one of the remaining tables on the main floor, but they annoyed us. So they seated us in an area on the left side of the entrance, which was really annoying from an acoustic standpoint, as well as visually very different from the "mountain" atmosphere we'd chosen when booking here, as well as upstairs, for an evening of conversation. It felt like the child from the table next to us was sitting at the table because of the terrible acoustics (no doubt because there's a vaulted ceiling there that bounces noise back into the center). We asked to be moved. The extremely annoyed waiter went up to call the manager, who came to us and, after our insistence, moved us to the basement. The acoustics there were acceptable. The waiter was brusque and impatient when he took our order... it looked like they'd already sold out... but it was only 7:25 PM!! They brought us a pizza, then he said it wasn't ours, which can happen, so he took it away annoyed. Finally, he brought another... while we were cutting it, he came back and said it wasn't ours... at which point we said it was fine anyway, never mind. Halfway through the evening, the manager was polite and asked if everything was okay. Finally, the waiter came back for dessert, with the menu, and we said we didn't want it. A waitress came back and asked if we wanted dessert, we said no, and I can't describe the annoyed and rude look on the girl's face, who then walked away. For two salads and a pizza, we spent 65 euros. We won't be returning. The food was good, though; perhaps the price was a bit high, but if you eat well and in a nice location, it's reasonable. In a basement, with the rudeness of the staff and all that confusion, however, we felt it was excessive.

03/01/2026: The surrounding view is very beautiful. We couldn't get inside because of the huge crowd. While the cabin can be reached easily by snowmobile, those arriving on foot are stuck outside due to the crowds.

27/12/2025: A delightful discovery. The pizza by the slice is truly excellent: light, well-leavened, and easily digestible, with a crust that's crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The ingredients are high-quality and well-balanced, with generous but never heavy toppings. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, perfect for a snack with friends or a more relaxed evening. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the fast service makes the experience even more enjoyable.

14/01/2026: WE WERE VERY DISAPPOINTED. Let me start by saying that Camping Vidor is a high-end campsite with excellent services. It's located directly on the ski slopes, has a very well-maintained and charming pool and relaxation area, a beautiful, upscale restaurant, a panoramic setting, and everything else. We stayed in a camper van one night less than planned because we had a problem with our camper van and unfortunately had to leave the evening before. We reported this to reception, who, as per policy, "couldn't" deduct the night's stay, but the worst part was having to argue over a €10 charge (later reversed after a long dispute) for a blanket we'd borrowed. Furthermore, at checkout, they had mistakenly charged us an excessive amount for gas consumption, which fortunately I pointed out, and so they reversed it. So, to be intellectually honest, I have no complaints about the facility, but perhaps a little more flexibility would have avoided disappointing customers.

16/12/2025: A tourist spot. Smoked swordfish: they served me the kind I buy in a tray at the supermarket. Pasta cacio e pepe: a cheese broth with pasta floating in it. Crème brûlé: it was very cold and therefore not caramelized on the spot, since if it had been, it would have been lukewarm. A tourist might be happy, but an Italian accustomed to truly good food won't leave this place satisfied.

03/12/2025: A very beautiful and elegant place. Very attentive service, and the waiter who served us was very helpful. The typical Sardinian dishes were very tasty and well-prepared—a truly delightful surprise in the Trentino mountains! Prices were average. If we were to pass through that area again, we would definitely return.
