24/08/2024: I had a great time, the staff knows how to do their job, the owners are good people, nice and know how to be with people. The food at dinner (I had half board) was very good and plentiful, breakfast was the same. Swimming pool and spa small but well equipped and kept spotless, like the rest of the hotel. The prices are honest. I recommend it without reservations. Thank you

19/08/2024: I discovered this rotisserie by chance while walking around Pinzolo, mainly I needed to eat a nice plate of vegetables, I stopped and found some mushrooms and cauliflower, then I let myself be taken from the window and ordered some roast potatoes, a piece of bread and I saw a stew deer if I remember correctly. I start with the vegetables, amazing honey mushrooms seasoned well, the cauliflower was cooked just right, I dip the bread in the fantastic mushroom sauce, still at 8.30pm the bread was delicious. I taste the stew and its sauce, excellent, well-cooked, tender meat and a good, strong flavour. I finish with a piece of cheese which is also delicious. It is certainly not a restaurant but the dishes and the care are excellent.

23/08/2024: Basics: - wife's birthday, with two children, ages 12 and 8. - arrived 19:45 and sat in the back corner. - Classic menu for adults, children from a la carte children's menu. - last night of 8 nights in Madonna di Campiglio. Several elements of the experience that we felt fell short of our expectations: (i) the quantity and quality of the food fell short of what we would consider should be expected at a Michelin-starred restaurant: (a) the "degustation of bread" was not a very high quality start to the meal - it felt gimmicky and (for the restaurant) a low-cost way to make patrons feel satiated, given the quality and portion size of the rest of the menu. The breadsticks were stale and crunchy (plus the acoustics of the intimate stube-style restaurant resulted in us hearing every other customer crunch on the breadsticks/crostini) (b) the salad was underwhelming and fairly small and not particularly unique; (c) the soup with tortellini was unremarkable; (d) the pasta, while tasty, was not out of the ordinary for the region; and (e) the venison was a bit disappointing both in flavor and in size. Overall, it was not of a quality one would expect from a Michelin-starred restaurant set menu. (ii) the service was delivered by nice people with a very good level of English, but it fell short of what we would expect. (a) We had to ask several times to have wine to accompany courses, while our glasses sat empty for a long time on the table - in two instances, my wife had to ask what wine could accompany the meal she was already sitting in front of, having to wait until the wine arrived later to start eating (for the main, the head waiter left her sitting waiting for at least 5 minutes); (b) our water bottle and glasses sat empty for a very long time, and we had to remind them to bring another twice. (iii) Though they were clearly short-staffed, the staff did not seem to recognize their having fallen short of delivery: when we called them over for the above reminders, the impression we got is they were annoyed with our intrusion, rather than apologetic for their having forgotten or for having fallen short. We felt we were very kind and patient with the staff - we always are, but also because we both started our careers in the food services industry (my wife as a chef at 2 and 3 michelin star restaurants), so our starting point is always sympathetic. Minor points: (iv) upon arrival, when asking guests to wait for their table for an extended period in the lounge, a nice touch would be to offer a small coupe of prosecco (v) it appeared staff attended to other tables with more attention, but we did notice that other tables had empty glasses throughout the evening. There were of course some good parts of the evening, from the generally nice senior staff (e.g. at entry and exit), the presentation of the meals, and the extensive wine list. It was also nice that you had a kids menu, a la carte, allowing for parents to dine on a set menu with the children eating from a different one. The children enjoyed their meals, although we would point out that the Milanese Vitello con palate was overcooked - both the meat and the potatoes. My son was so hungry, he ended up going ahead and eating (without out sending it back), but it definitely could have been better. The meatballs for our daughter were undercooked initially, a situation that was rectified - with an apology (i.e. we appreciated the chef admitted there was a mistake, rectified the issue, and apologized -- and following that our daughter really enjoyed the meatballs). The evening fell well short of our expectations, and we spent far too much money given the experience fell short of Michelin. After the meal, I went on google to look at reviews and came across one on google reviews from someone called "Chris Kopczynski" from > one year ago. I think that accurately portrays the evening we had as well, which makes me regret I did not do my research ahead of time.

13/07/2024: We stayed from 8 to 13 July, a magnificent place made even more special by the welcome of the staff and the excellent food, even my Lilly 🐕 ​​was treated with kid gloves 🤗... Special thanks to Debora at the reception and to Stefano who already from the second day he remembered all my preferences... without taking anything away from the other staff, who were very good.

08/07/2024: The shop appeared to be well stocked and they make sandwiches too. Just note that the sandwiches price list is not up to date and they charge a bit more than what it says.

19/08/2024: Inizio poco gradevole dato che il tavolo da noi prenotato era già occupato al nostro arrivo però il continuo è stato in netto miglioramento. Risotto molto buono(da rivedere la quantità forse),cervo stufato con polenta di Storo veramente gustoso come anche il piatto di salsiccia,formaggio e rosti di patate. Servizio Ok anche col pienone. Avrei evitato le sedie esterne in stile rattan in un posto dove spesso piove (quindi difficili da asciugare)ma comunque molto belle! Consigliato!!

14/08/2024: Siamo una coppia con un bambino di un anno e mezzo,ci sediamo su un tavolo all’esterno e inizialmente la cameriera ci chiede se dobbiamo pranzare,rispondiamo che guardiamo il menu e poi successivamente optiamo per prendere dei dolci e del caffe,la cameriera stranita risponde che il tavolo andava richiesto all’interno del ristorante e che era necessario almeno pranzare..rispondiamo che avevamo un bambino e necessitavamo di ristorarsi con dei dolci..ci alziamo sorpresi di essere stati cacciati senza aver consumato..il turista va coccolato,la cameriera andrebbe come minimo presa da una parte e redarguita..pessimi veramente non ci sono parole

18/08/2024: We had dinner at Genzianella on our way back from a beautiful trek in the Adamello Brenta Park, and it was pleasant to find a still authentic restaurant a stone's throw from a place that is now a little too artificial like Madonna di Campiglio. We ate an excellent shank with polenta and mushrooms and a delicious sliced ​​venison, the house Merlot was also good and the desserts made by them were exquisite. The staff was very kind, attentive and professional. It will definitely be a fixed stop for us when we return to Val Rendena :)

27/08/2024: I went on Sunday morning with the intention of having breakfast with my partner and child. We arrive and my partner waits and asks the blonde waitress outside the exact words "hello, can we sit over there?" And this one, without even saying hello, annoyed and in a rude tone tells him "go". So, in a dry and rude way. After that, ignoring the fact that I was there in front with the stroller waiting to access the table, he turns towards a couple of customers and says to them (meaning my partner who in the meantime had moved towards the table): "no but do whatever you want" , laughing loudly. At that, I called my partner back and we went to another bar. Terrible! If you don't want to work with people, change jobs! Never again!

07/08/2024: Posto molto piacevole tra Campiglio e pinzolo, ottimi piatti da stube/pub da consigliare il mezzo pollo arrosto!!! Non venivamo da 3/4 anni i prezzi si sono un po’ alzati ma comunque nella Media e forse erano bassi prima. Consiglio di prenotare…sempre pieno…ci sarà un motivo….

29/07/2024: buonasera, sono venuto con degli amici qua, le aspettative non erano basse ma questo ristorante le ha rispettate benissimo, i würstel, la salamella, lo stinco e l’ hamburger erano spettacolari, peccato per il pollo, che era un po’ stopposo. anche i tempi possono essere migliorati. l’esperienza è stata buona ed accogliente. lo consiglio agli amanti della carne. un saluto il vostro G.
