09/02/2025: Fantastic experience. In the center of Folgaria, a very elegant place where you can have an excellent aperitif, dinner and even an after-dinner drink. In our case we stopped for dinner, where we discovered a chef who amazed us throughout the evening with truly unique dishes. We entrusted ourselves to the chef for a tasting menu, where he took us into his culinary world.

22/01/2025: La Stua del John in Folgaria is not just a restaurant, it is an experience. From the warm welcome of the staff, who are courteous and knowledgeable, you immediately perceive the familiar and genuine atmosphere of the place. But the real love at first sight comes with the chef's cuisine. Not only are the dishes exceptional, true works of art that satisfy the sight and palate, but the passion that the chef puts into his work is contagious. After a short chat with him, I understood that it's not just about cooking, but about conveying emotions through every ingredient, every aroma, every presentation. His dedication can be perceived in every detail, from the choice of raw materials to the care in preparation. A culinary experience that goes beyond simply "eating well", a sensorial journey guided by a true culinary artist. Highly recommended!

17/02/2025: Disappointing experience despite the welcoming environment The place looks good, with a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere. However, the overall experience fell short of expectations. The food is average, without any particular merit, but the real weak point was the service. The staff appeared not very attentive and, in some moments, almost annoyed by our presence. One episode in particular highlighted this lack of attention: a dish was returned intact because the side dish was inedible, but when picking it up the waiter didn't even ask why, showing total disinterest. A shame, because with better service the experience would have been much better.

16/02/2025: The restaurant is typical of the area and very well looked after. Excellent service with friendly staff. The food really great. Tortel with soft egg and dumplings, both in broth and with fondue, are a must try! The deer ribs are absolutely worth eating, I found them special!

21/01/2025: Great craft beer and welcoming atmosphere! 👍🍻 "La Barba Casa" is a modern style pub with a wide selection of beers from the Barbaforte Brewery. We tried the IPA (very good!) and an excellent cooked toast and cheese to accompany the aperitif. Friendly and helpful staff. Advised!

03/11/2024: Very warm atmosphere, good welcome and helpful staff. Tasted some of their craft beers which I found to be of good quality. They offer about 16 different styles: 3 rotating taps and the rest in bottles/cans.

01/02/2025: We had great first family ski holiday in Italy. The hotel service was outstanding, with welcoming and friendly staff who made us feel right at home. The rooms and common areas were spotlessly clean, and the food was absolutely delicious, especially the 3-course dinners each evening and breakfast buffet! A real highlight was the heated pool and saunas, which were perfect for relaxing after a day on the slopes. The location couldn’t have been better – just a short walk to the Costa 1 ski slope / ski train ( 2 min drive ) Overall, highly recommend this hotel for a family ski holiday. Definitely coming back next year ! Thank you so much for a great time ❤️

19/01/2025: After 10 year experience in Italy hotels in the Alpes, this hotel was really the worst one I have ever been in. The hotel does not deserve more than 2 stars. When they offer the superior room, its just a fraud, you get the same room, and pay a lot more. Breakfast was very poor, and if you want to have a breakfast you paid for, you got to hurry up in the morning, be one of the first people there, to eat anything. For the dinner you get your ordered meal, which looks like a prison meal more than a 3-star hotel meal.

05/09/2024: Today for lunch we ate in this place, 3 people ate well only me, who ordered a single dish with grilled vegetables, melted cheese etc, I found almost everything quite cold. I'm a little sorry since the others had nothing to complain about. However, although there was a young waitress, the order was taken by a lady of respectable age but who couldn't hear much. I would have given 4 stars if the prices had been more reasonable.

02/03/2025: My stay at Hotel Biancaneve was extremely disappointing, and I cannot recommend this place. First of all, the rooms were tiny and had no ventilation, which caused a puddle of water to collect under the balcony door every morning. The room’s amenities were minimal, with no real comforts or conveniences provided. Breakfast was tolerable, served buffet-style. The scrambled eggs were the worst I’ve ever had—dry and unappetizing—but the croissants were very good. Dinner was a disaster—the food was simply bad, tasteless, and completely unseasoned. It was really hard to believe we are in Italy. Buffet organization was terrible, with long queues both in the morning and evening. The bar had affordable cocktails, but the selection was very limited. Overall, my experience at this hotel was very poor, and I strongly advise against staying here.

01/03/2025: Great location. Food less than average. Basically the worst ever. We go to Italy twice a year and you know that if you get classic sausages for dinner, it won't be good. Unfriendly service. The exception is the waitress, a short brunette - very nice. Breakfast too late from 7.45, this is the first time we have encountered this. The norm in other hotels in Italy was 7.30. The hotel is not prepared for full occupancy. We came in a group of 200 people and there were queues for everything. At breakfast, there was hot water from two thermos flasks. Once exhausted, it was not replenished. On the last day we got takeaway food. There was one bag of provisions per room, consisting of two sandwiches, two waters, and two apples. Unfortunately, the staff are scammers who are uncooperative. Positive thing about the hotel is cheap drinks. Both men who work at the bar were known for their extremely unpleasant service. During your stay, you have the impression that you are interacting with someone who is bothering you, you do not feel welcome here. In the rooms, the staff took out the glasses we bought at the coop (since they were not available in the room) and took them to the bar. A classic mistake and one might think that the matter was quite simple to solve. Unfortunately not this hotel. I definitely advise against it if you have self-respect.

19/01/2025: I ate reheated polenta in slices with meat that was also reheated and not satisfactory, while the platter of cold cuts and cheeses was good, even if the bread was half frozen...

08/02/2025: Last year all of us ski club parents had lunch and apreski here every training session. This year the treatment of the owners has become grumpy. They are all over you asking with a gruff look if you are eating, otherwise you have to leave, even if you are perhaps drinking a beer. We're not talking about 7/8 year old children who are chased away, who don't let them go to the bathroom (while training you can't stop to consume. Pee on the fly and run!). The food would be good and the beer too. It depends on what environment you are looking for. We have changed location, a little more relaxation and the children can pee...

01/02/2025: Uncommentable place, one star because you can't do less. Beyond the prices that are ok you are on the slopes, the management is embarrassing...you can only enter if you consume...otherwise you can't even change a hat or gloves...you can only go to the bathroom with the QR code...and for to guarantee this there is always one of the staff who, like a guard dog, checks you and follows you as soon as you enter to see if you eat...if you do it is ok you can stay away immediately...as soon as you have finished eating they check you if you are still consuming otherwise free the table….and the ridiculous thing is that they have half empty tables (e.g let's hope they are increasingly empty)...avoid...there are many other places to have lunch or a coffee...I've been skiing all my life and I've never seen similar management in any place on the slopes. Ridiculous
