The meat and cheese plate is generous and deeply satisfying, showcasing quality products without overcomplication. The canederli are beautifully made—soft, flavorful, and clearly handled with care. The stinco is the highlight: rich, well-cooked, and exactly what you hope for after a day in the mountains.
Service is warm, efficient, and genuinely welcoming, striking that ideal balance between attentive and relaxed. Prices feel fair for the quality and setting, which only adds to the overall sense that this place respects its guests.
Osteria Dasté delivers comforting regional food done properly, and it fits perfectly into the charm of Campitello di Fassa. A place worth seeking out.

06/10/2025: We only stopped for a short break during the Sasso Lungo/Sasso Piatto loop. The view is truly fantastic. It's worth stopping just to enjoy the view. Unfortunately, I was a little disappointed with the pretzel I ordered. It was probably frozen and they microwaved it for too long or at the wrong power. The fact is, it was burned inside in some places and toasted in others.

15/02/2026: Craft brewery located beneath the Alpi Hotel on Campitello's main road. The venue has a modern style, but with materials and colors that complement the setting, creating a very welcoming and warm atmosphere. The staff is young, dynamic, and professional. I only tried the drinks, not the food. The beers are all top-quality, well-explained, and offer surprising and unusual flavors. You can also try a tasting of four to ten beers. The cocktails are also excellent.

13/03/2026: Eaten there for lunch a few times on skiing the Sellaronda, a great place to stop at, very busy, but we always found a table. Food is super, if you go for pizzas wait times are up to an hour long. This time round (mid Feb 2026) they also had tables with pit fire in the middle, had an exquisite (though very expensive) tomahawk steak, it was worth every penny! The waiters were all super friendly and efficient.
13/03/2026: Only had lunch. Very disappointed. Risotto totally tasteless. Excellent location though.

27/12/2025: We happened upon it by chance and ate a truly delicious salmon pasta dish revisited by the chef. Massimiliano, the chef and owner, was very kind and friendly. The atmosphere was clean and the staff very friendly. Highly recommended!
09/11/2025: We had an aperitivo with a platter of local products, cured meats and cheeses, niche products, authentic flavors not easy to find elsewhere. The Apertol spritz and Ugo spritz were excellent, and the owner was very kind and helpful. We had a great time, and I highly recommend it.

10/10/2025: Freshly prepared dishes at very reasonable prices! The elderly couple who own the place are incredibly welcoming and put a lot of effort into it. You feel like you're part of the family, not just a guest. We had a wonderful time!
04/10/2025: A family-run bar and trattoria. The owners are a couple no longer in their teens. Excellent food and very friendly service. Although the owners seemed a bit cold and distant upon arrival, it didn't take long to discover that they are genuinely kind and attentive to their guests' needs. My overall opinion is overwhelmingly positive, and I encourage everyone to try it and believe it.

02/11/2025: By far the best Rifugio we stayed at. The food was spectacular. It was a great launching off point for multiple hikes. And it was an absolute delight to have a hot shower. I highly recommend staying here.

07/03/2026: A restaurant for true gourmet connoisseurs. Venison is their specialty, cooked in a variety of ways, with local spices that enrich its flavor for the most discerning palates. The service is excellent; customer satisfaction is this place's priority. I will definitely return as soon as possible, and I'm sure my thoughts echo those of the vast majority of people who, like me, are here on vacation. A+++.

19/01/2026: Strategically located! At the departure point of the new 30-seater cable car to return (or arrive!) from Campitello, with music and dancers, cocktails, beer, and a relaxing "après ski" atmosphere. Worth a regenerating stop.

The dishes are meticulous, the ingredients are fresh and the pastas are especially excellent.
The service is courteous and professional, and the atmosphere is pleasant and inviting.
We ate steak and grilled fish, simple and delicious.
A place that is fun to return to again. 🍝🍷

18/02/2026: This restaurant is way overpriced for what it offers. The octopus, served as a main course, was the size of an appetizer, which doesn't justify the price at all.
As for the beef rib, the waiter didn't ask any questions and brought it without warning onto a hot griddle. The result was that the food splashed everywhere, ruining everyone's clothes. This service method isn't listed on the menu, and the staff doesn't warn you in advance: they simply set the plate down in front of you and leave.
Furthermore, the waiter didn't bother to ask how done you wanted it. He brought the meat completely raw and then even seemed annoyed, claiming we should have told him. He clearly confused the roles, because it's the staff who should ask, not the customer who has to specify. The meat was not only raw, but also flavorless: a sprig of rosemary certainly wasn't enough to save it.
Another problem is the organization of the service. Dishes are not served simultaneously, so it's normal for one person to have finished eating while another is still waiting for their dish.
I've visited the restaurant several times, so this isn't an isolated incident, but a recurring problem. I don't recommend this place. The quality of the food is very poor, and for the same price, you can eat much better in the surrounding area.
