19/04/2026: We've been regulars there for many years because the food is generally good and the prices are reasonable. The ambiance isn't particularly stylish, but it's functional (large tables and wooden benches with backrests, seating 8-10 people per table).
It's a shame, however, how they treat their (regular) customers. We ate there twice in one week. The spaghetti carbonara was good the first time, but the second time it was completely over-peppered; the food was unappetizing. We told the owner, but she simply took our plate, said it needed pepper, and that we still had to pay. She didn't even come to our table to ask if we wanted an alternative.
When we paid, we asked if she had tasted the spaghetti, at which point she immediately became loud, spoke incessantly in Italian (she also speaks German), and insisted, "It needs pepper." However, we didn't complain about that, but rather about the amount of pepper; the food should still be edible.

08/10/2025: An inconspicuous gem with the best pizza for miles around!
From the outside, the small shop appears almost invisible – simple, without any frills. But as soon as the first pizza crosses the counter, you know: real craftsmanship goes into this place. The dough is perfect – thin, airy, and with just the right amount of bite. The tomato sauce tastes fresh and fruity, the cheese is golden, and the aroma alone is satisfying.
With every bite, you can tell that someone bakes with passion – not mass-produced goods, but true Italian art. No wonder many regulars say: Once you eat here, every other pizza suddenly tastes only half as good.
A small, inconspicuous place – but huge in flavor. Highly recommended! 🍕🇮🇹

30/12/2025: It starts with the fact that it's the only bar that gives you the opportunity, especially in the summer, to enjoy an excellent breakfast as early as 6:30 in the morning, which is a very welcome thing for many early risers. Having breakfast at Bar Portici means enjoying a variety of croissants 🥐 of all kinds; sweets and pastries that will blow your mind and, last but not least, Her Majesty the sfogliatella, whether curly or shortcrust, is delicious. Not to mention the friendliness of Genny and all the staff in Arco, my favorite. Recommended

10/04/2026: A fantastic experience at Garda Thermae. The center is meticulously maintained: enveloping warmth, low lighting, the scent of essential oils, and complete silence throughout. Impeccably clean throughout, from the changing rooms to the saunas.
Beautiful spa experience: Finnish sauna with the perfect temperature to truly unwind, a gentle Turkish bath to begin with, and a herbal tea area—an atmosphere that makes you forget the clock.
Friendly and discreet staff explain everything without rushing you, even if it's your first time. Excellent value for money for the level of service.
I left feeling rejuvenated. Garda Thermae is the perfect place on Lake Garda when you really want to pamper yourself.
06/04/2026: Rude and impolite professionals: they seem to be doing you a favor. Cold relaxation areas and uncomfortable loungers. Incessant chatter from regulars who move around like they're the owners. We won't be returning.

23/04/2026: The young man at the bar, presumably the manager, was rude and showed unbecoming manners.
He also showed rudeness towards the employees, reprimanding them without any qualms about the presence of customers inside the establishment.
The waitress and barista were exquisite and kind, and the cappuccino was delicious... a shame because the place has great potential.
22/04/2026: I was here for an aperitif, and the staff was awful. From outside, you could constantly hear the bar girls yelling and swearing at each other, which was definitely unpleasant.

But I recommend it more for the bar... unfortunately, at lunchtime it's packed with workers, so it can take a long time to order your food!
Anyway, it has a very extensive menu and the desserts are wonderful! The coffee is also delicious 🥰
25/11/2025: An hour isn't enough to eat. I ordered the first course menu digitally, which should be quicker. Only the Coke arrived. I ate the first course cold.
I took the second course away, but I had to throw it in the bin because it was cold, without bread or cutlery, and it ruined my day! Thanks.

26/08/2025: Unfortunately, I have to agree with many of the negative comments here.
We booked for 2 nights in May 2025.
We were here a few years ago and actually had pretty good memories.
Unfortunately, the hotel couldn't live up to the good impression we had back then. Everything looks very worn and in need of renovation, definitely not up to 4-star standards...
The cleanliness throughout the hotel isn't really up to scratch.
The rooms are a bit musty.
Our highlight were the cockroaches at the breakfast buffet, which briefly made us consider leaving the hotel immediately and looking for another one.
All in all, a very disappointing stay.
18/08/2025: We stayed the week of August 15th. We may be unlucky, but the elevator was broken 6 out of 7 days of our stay. Unfortunately, it was intolerable, even though the owner gave us a small discount at the end of our stay. Keep in mind that there were 3 floors above ground and 2 for bike and car storage. When we first complained to a manager named Cristina, she dared, believing she wasn't being listened to, to make fun of us and a friend of hers. I advise the owner to consider removing her from her position, especially since her fault is detrimental to all the other staff, who have been exceptional.
