08/10/2025: An inconspicuous gem with the best pizza for miles around!
From the outside, the small shop appears almost invisible – simple, without any frills. But as soon as the first pizza crosses the counter, you know: real craftsmanship goes into this place. The dough is perfect – thin, airy, and with just the right amount of bite. The tomato sauce tastes fresh and fruity, the cheese is golden, and the aroma alone is satisfying.
With every bite, you can tell that someone bakes with passion – not mass-produced goods, but true Italian art. No wonder many regulars say: Once you eat here, every other pizza suddenly tastes only half as good.
A small, inconspicuous place – but huge in flavor. Highly recommended! 🍕🇮🇹

13/08/2025: It starts with the fact that it's the only bar that gives you the opportunity, especially in the summer, to enjoy an excellent breakfast as early as 6:30 in the morning, which is a very welcome thing for many early risers. Having breakfast at Bar Portici means enjoying a variety of croissants 🥐 of all kinds; sweets and pastries that will blow your mind and, last but not least, Her Majesty the sfogliatella, whether curly or shortcrust, is delicious. Not to mention the friendliness of Genny and all the staff in Arco, my favorite. Recommended

11/01/2026: Best pizza we've ever eaten!!! Anyone complaining about a pizza that's too pale and soggy should specify how they want their pizza when ordering.
30/12/2025: Very nice and traditional restaurant, with a very kind and helpful owner.
We found it by chance while wandering around the Christmas markets, and we absolutely didn't regret it.
We had excellent goulash soup and goulash with polenta, which we definitely recommend.
Prices were in line with market prices.
Carne salada with beans, perhaps a little overcooked, but good.

04/01/2026: We had dinner on January 3rd. The place was cold and unheated, so we ate with our jackets on the whole time. Not recommended in winter.

24/10/2025: The reception staff is friendly, and the instructor, Arianna, is pleasant and professional. The changing room area, steps, and other areas need more thorough maintenance. The showers are hot and not adjustable.

23/03/2026: Two children accompanied by a babysitter. Two Margherita pizzas for €8.50 each, two drinks for €3.50 each, €3 cover charge for €2 (????). They want to pay for themselves. €30!! What a disappointment....
The €3 cover charge for what? Service charge/dishes/bread....kids, even less!! You don't win over locals like that... (the €8.50 Margherita pizza is already out of line).
Not recommended. There are pizzerias nearby with better prices and equally good pizza.

But I recommend it more for the bar... unfortunately, at lunchtime it's packed with workers, so it can take a long time to order your food!
Anyway, it has a very extensive menu and the desserts are wonderful! The coffee is also delicious 🥰
25/11/2025: An hour isn't enough to eat. I ordered the first course menu digitally, which should be quicker. Only the Coke arrived. I ate the first course cold.
I took the second course away, but I had to throw it in the bin because it was cold, without bread or cutlery, and it ruined my day! Thanks.
