I'm sorry I can't give 5 stars because the place is really beautiful, well looked after, clean and the Sauna masters are very creative. But the girl with the Spanish accent who keeps going "Shhhhhh" and addressing customers in an unkind way is really excessive. Maybe people like to chat since everyone talks when they are in the queue (the queue forms 20 minutes before)... Trentino's Finest! I had an absolutely amazing experience, the first time I've ever been to any kind of Sauna or Spa as well and I was stunned with how relaxing the whole experience was. The building is linked to the Pool Complex so there are some shared utilities like the locker room. It's very bog-standard it has lockers either digital combination operated or you use a blue band sensor which you are given by reception at arrival. There are hairdryers in the mens, and shower cubicles I think 6 in total in a 3 facing 3 layout so not that many. There is a tiny rack in the corner to place bodywash and shampoo. There is a hook outside the cubicle, no door on it but I guess easier to get the towel. They don't allow swimwear so leave everything in the locker barring the flipflops and towel / bathrobe if you bring one. You leave the locker room up a flight of stairs and you get to a gate scan your blue band to gain entry. Inside there is a reception area with 9 areas breaking off in different directions. The main 4 rooms including the Finnish Sauna are in the centre. There is a foot spa in a separate room behind reception, it also includes a shower which may come in handy to know later. In the area behind reception is the relaxation area, there is a plunge pool in the middle there is a room full of deck chairs behind a door. Opposite that is a complex if 3 rooms featuring the Russian and Hammam saunas. Unfortunately I did not have enough time to do these ones. Going forward from the plunge pool section there is a complex of 4 rooms featuring Finnish, Medditerrean, steam room and a soft sauna. They have salt treatments in the finnish sauna and the steam room. I went into the Steam Room taking a blue cloth type thing to sit on as towels aren't allowed in that one. The treatment begins and its sheer bliss, calming the salt is given out you get 2 sets though I couldn't tell you which salt does what. Be careful to keep the salt away from your eyes and anywhere which might be cut or healing because the salt will react with that. If you do get salt in your eyes in the corners of the room is a small shower nozzle turn on the tap and you can wash the salt away. Everyone then gets out at the end of the treatment taking the single-use blue cloth thing and throwing it away then its off to the showers which are directly outside the 4 rooms for maximum convinience make sure its a cold one to help you cool down! Then go back and put on the towel so you can go to the plunge pool section to get a drink, its important to stay hydrated while you are doing this. I did another 3 rooms afterward I found the Finnish Sauna was the hottest and I couldn't be in there for all that long I was sweating within minutes... I went very under-prepared initially but my hotel was literally a stones throw away so I could get what I needed, to all newbies like me take bodywash, shampoo, comb, all shower accessories really along with flip-flops (I had some but didn't think to bring them, so I was barefoot I kept my balance luckily but there were slippery moments...) and finally bring a towel or two if you want to use one in the spa itself and then another for general showers afterward. A bathrobe could also be useful, I preferred the towel so I could use it for drying off. You can rent a towel from reception for €4. All in all I paid €24 for 3 hours access I wish I had chosen the full day to fully experience everything Garda Thermae has to offer but I guess this is one of the things I will do next time I am here.
