01/01/2025: Siamo ancora qua, dobbiamo ancora pagare, ma nulla può rovinare una giornata da sogno. Questo posto è un paradiso! Abbiamo telefonato solo 3 giorni prima e sono riusciti a trovarci un tavolo il primo dell'anno a pranzo... credevo in un tavolino normale magari da lasciare anche alla svelta, e invece, arrivati dopo una breve e tranquilla passeggiata, ci hanno dato questo tavolo/divano meraviglioso, comodissimo, praticamente come fare pranzo a letto, alla luce del sole guardando la neve sui monti... piatti davvero buoni, personale molto cortese. Davvero nulla da dire. Ci vogliamo tornare e anche dormire nella loro baita!! Assolutamente consigliato!

04/10/2024: Rinderplatzhütte, Wie immer Top... eigentlich! Doch dieses Mal war's ein totaler Reinfall. So oft schon da gewesen. Doch heuer war's echt zum Kotzen. Haben wohl aufgrund guter Frequentierung Wochends eingeführt, dass man als Hüttenbesucher sich eine Nummer aufm Kochlöffel geben lassen MUSS, sonst bist nämlich Nix und wirst nur auf mehrfache Nachfrage bedient, zudem musst Vorauskasse leisten und hoffen, dass nicht vergessen wirst. Wir mussten 3x nachfragen, ob unsere Getränke noch kommen... Bei 20min Wartezeit berechtigt... Oder?!!... Für nur nen Bier und ne Limo! Dass die LöffelNummer so gehandhabt wird, wäre es sehr hilfreich gewesen, diese Vorgehensweise würde am Eingang stehen oder man wird darauf hingewiesen, so dass man es weiß, wenigstens Info hat und selbst entscheiden kann, ob einem das passt, 30min und mehr auf Endlich-bedient-zu-werden warten zu müssen. Denn, einfach auf freien Platz sitzen, führt dazu, dass man übel zusammen gekackt wird. So wie uns, ging es Einigen. Nur wenige waren erfreut... das schafft keine Freude und Freunde. Fazit: Entspannter Hüttenbesuch sieht anders aus. Wie man es kennt...Der wo kommt ist da, ist was frei, ist gut, setzt sich hin, ansonsten frägt man und setzt sich wo dazu. Aber das geht auf der Rinderplatzhütte wohl NICHT mehr. Zudem die Löffel-Nr wird mehrfach vergeben, die Nummer wird NICHT über Mikro/Lautsprecher aufgerufen und NICHT nach Dir gesucht, wenn Du abseits auf Deine Nr wartest, das aber nicht hörst... Pech... aufgerufen wird nur lapidar! Denn während 2x die 18 während unserer Wartezeit aufgerufen wurde, war nicht 1x unsere etwas höhere Nummer dabei! Teilweise kamen höhere Nummern vor kleineren. Es geht nicht um Essen-an-Theke holen. Es geht um Sitzplatz-zugewiesen bekommen! Heuer selbst erlebt und für uns Unverständlich und das für eine Hütte, die mal für uns den Rang von Must-be & Must-have hatte. Wie erwähnt... Selbst auf die banale 2 Getränke mussten wir 20min warten. Die einfache Lösung über Funksender/Pager, die dann vibrieren, wenn dran bist, scheinen dem Wirt zu teuer. So stellt er lieber ein Person ab, die nur die Nummern verwaltet und das noch sehr unfreundlich. Anstatt es so zu machen, wie es früher war... Der wo kommt ist da, setzt sich auf nen freien Platz oder nach Fragen dazu... und gut ist. Ansonsten ist die Hütte empfehlenswert. Essen und Ambiente top. Doch das Platz-Vergabe-System MUSS überarbeitet werden.

21/06/2025: Siamo saliti per la prima volta all'Alpe di Villandro, in quota sopra il bel borgo di Chiusa, e abbiamo pranzato alla "Gasser Hütte", dove siamo stati serviti con cortesia e attenzione. La carta - che non è di quelle infinte, fortunatamente - propone piatti della tradizione altoatesina che si sono rivelati ottimi nella loro semplicità. I canederli fatti in casa - un piatto con gli stessi conditi con burro e salvia, l'altro con accompagnamento di gulasch di manzo - si sono rivelati deliziosi, così come le torte che abbiamo scelto per dessert. Ossia una torta di grano saraceno farcita di marmellata di lamponi e uno Strudel che è stato tra i migliori che abbia mai assaggiato in vita mia. Alla fine, compresi due aperitivi della casa, un caffè e due cappuccini, abbiamo speso 49 euro e 80 centesimi in due, con un bel rapporto qualità/prezzo. Belli gli interni e bella anche l'ampia terrazza esterna. Si sono meritati il punteggio pieno, senza contare che la location, ossia la zona, è davvero molto bella. Quindi, esperienza positiva sotto ogni punto di vista, per quanto ci riguarda.

23/05/2025: Die Hütte hat jetzt unter neuer Leitung eröffnet! Lisa und Roman kennt man von der Zirmait Hütte! Freut Euch also auf Gastreundlichkeit mit Gourmetküche auf der Alm😎 Hier kann man sogar übernachten👍

27/10/2024: Chiusa Klausen, quanti ricordi di bambino, Ho vissuto in questa splendida realtà Altoatesina per due anni, l'autostrada ancora non c'era, giocavamo io e Marco, liberi nei prati con Diana il cane Lupo che non ci mollava mai, i masi ci davano il succo di lampone da bere, la loro ospitalità non è mai cambiata. Il ritorno dopo tanto tempo in occasione del Törggelen, presso questo locale del Gallo Rosso, Ii masi di qualità dell'Alto Adige, assieme ai nostri cugini sudtirolesi, é stata un'esperienza bellissima, non solo per l'ottimo cibo e vino, ma soprattutto per la genuina accoglienza ricevuta dalla famiglia Kainzwaldner. Raccomandato assolutamente, esperienza che faremo, spero con più calma per visitare oltre alla medioevale Chiusa anche Sabina e dintorni, il prossimo anno.

03/11/2024: Die Führung war leider nicht sehr ansprechend und war mehr Familiengeschichte, als dass man über Wein oder das Unternehmen erfahren hätte. Das Essen war ganz gut, die Naturweine jedoch leider nicht.

26/12/2025: We spent three days there as a couple and it was wonderful. The hotel is magnificent and has many advantages, most notably the stunning mountain views. The staff is incredibly kind and attentive to our needs. If we had to nitpick, it's a shame that the shower only provided 2-in-1 soap. Also, while the food choices at the buffets (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) were certainly varied, once finished, items weren't often replenished immediately. In any case, this didn't detract from our stay at this incredible hotel. The meals were absolutely delicious, and there was a great selection. Thank you again to the entire hotel team for this perfect stay.

26/11/2025: We stayed at the Granpanorama Hotel Stephanshof in September 2025 with four people and were very impressed with the hotel, its fantastic location with stunning views of the Eisack Valley, and the exceptionally friendly staff in all areas. We stayed in the lovely, spacious tower room and had a wonderful holiday both at the hotel and in the surrounding area, including the Villanders-Alm. The hotel offers excellent value for money and is highly recommended for a fantastic holiday.
