The gnocchi with pulled pork were excellent, and the pork ribs and sausage were delicious.
Save room for the desserts because they were excellent.
We will definitely be back to try other dishes.

Anyone who comes here is welcomed into the family ❤️ We already associate South Tyrol with warmth and the highest quality. And anyone who comes to the Kinigerhof gets it even better! In a word – FANTASTIC!
By the way, we were external guests, and that's how we're reviewing the farm tavern. We don't actually want to advertise, because we'd love to come back.

The staff were incredibly kind and professional. Highly recommended, and we'll be back!!

14/01/2026: I've been a guest at this refuge for over 25 years. It's spectacular! Both the location and the food. One of the most beautiful places in the world at the foot of my favorite mountain in the Dolomites... Ciao Tre Scarperi!
Come visit Maria, she's very kind! But be patient, because it's not always easy to find a table!
10/01/2026: This quaint refuge nestled in the beautiful Fiscalina Valley can be reached after an hour's mostly flat hike from Bad Moos. The food was DELICIOUS, and I can't wait to return! We had the salsify soup and dumplings, truly unforgettable! The service was also fast and friendly. It's worth considering that this is a fairly popular refuge, and since they don't take reservations, you might end up on a waiting list, but fortunately, it fills up fairly quickly.
Highly recommended!

12/01/2026: We stopped in on our way back from a hike, without a reservation, around 2 pm on a Saturday afternoon in January.
The staff was incredibly kind, quickly setting up a table for two and sitting us down. Creamed porcini mushrooms for both of us, followed by dessert and coffee. The next day we used their takeout service.
10/01/2026: I'll start by saying that this review only concerns the restaurant. We've been visiting the restaurant at least once every year for the past 15 years. It was always very good. This year we went again and were disappointed. The portions were much smaller than in previous years, and the prices were much higher. The quality of the food wasn't worth the price.
I don't think we'll be back.

29/11/2025: We stayed here on October 24th for a quick weekend. A beautiful spot surrounded by greenery, with excellent and plentiful breakfast and dinner. The room with a comfortable balcony was lovely, and the pool area was also pleasant. Today I received an unexpected but very welcome gift in the mail: a paper 2026 lunar calendar. A thoughtful gesture that few offer. I recommend this property for their attentive service.
02/10/2025: Even if it was only for one night, we felt right at home. A huge thank you to the entire team. We'll be back.

05/01/2026: The food was decent, but the owner was horrendous. When we asked for some parmesan cheese for our tomato fettuccine, we not only waited 5 minutes, but the lady, who was rushing around like crazy without resolving anything, literally slammed the container on the table, clearly demonstrating a total lack of professionalism and courtesy. NEVER AGAIN.

07/09/2025: A must-see on the way back from hikes to the Tre Cime or the Zsigmondy-Comici Refuge. It's hard to find a better strudel. Fantastic staff. Extremely popular due to the easy route, suitable for everyone, so avoid peak hours and months due to long lines waiting for a table.
27/08/2025: We've been frequenting the Fiscalina Valley for years, but I'd never stopped at this refuge. I have to say, it was a great find: sublime food, impeccable service, and friendliness come first. Highly recommended.

05/11/2025: We had lunch here as a couple on a weekday. While the food was well-prepared and well-prepared, it's a shame the service didn't meet expectations. We had a long wait, about 45 minutes for appetizers and 20 minutes for the water we'd ordered. The waitresses were a bit distracted by the workers having lunch there, who were given absolute priority over customers/tourists. I wouldn't return for lunch for this reason. They apologized for their patience, but for a hiker, the wait is definitely too long, even for just a bottle of water.
