19/07/2024: The climb to the hut is strenuous for inexperienced people, you should plan about 3 hours here, the incredible views on the way and at the hut are unbelievable. The staff is super friendly, the Kaiserschmarn and the beer are highly recommended. The dumpling soup was simply great.
15/07/2024: We stopped here last week literally to seek refuge from a storm with rain and strong winds. The place is tiny, just a few tables and thankfully our group of 7 got one. The food was excellent, the staff super helpful. Very isolated and off the grid, but if you are hiking in the area and need refreshmnet, definitely stop! Take a look at the menu to learn the story and see the pictures of how they are supplied. Why don't we have these places in the States?

27/08/2024: The view you can enjoy is fantastic, for this reason alone it is worth going there. The menu is simple but with deliciously prepared dishes. Kindness and courtesy of the staff and an excellent quality/price ratio.

Fantastic view, especially at sunset.
Exceptional food, normal prices.
The lady who answers the phone is really kind and helpful. We had forgotten a backpack outside in the parking lot, she immediately made sure to go and retrieve it so we could find it the next day.
We will definitely be back

31/07/2024: Il locale è molto carino, ben arredato e molto fine. Riguardo al personale posso solo dire che gentile è riduttivo, tutti quanti con il sorriso stampato in faccia. Il cibo era strepitoso, il buffet di verdure era squisito. Oltretutto non è stato eccessivamente costoso, ma per il servizio offerto e il cibo ho pagato molto volentieri.
03/07/2024: I spent 5 wonderful days in this fantastic hotel with my daughter, who comes twice every year for her holidays.
My experience??? Absolutely positive! The owner and his family, exceptional people! Always with a smile and a sweetness that goes straight to your heart. The impeccable service, the attentive, kind, sweet and helpful staff, perfect cleanliness, exquisite, fresh and plentiful food.
The location is optimal and convenient to all services.
I highly recommend it.
I will return again next year and of course I will choose the WILLY hotel 🥰

19/08/2024: I stayed here for two nights. Beautiful location under the Sesto Dolomites. Refuge with great attention to detail, clean and comfortable. The food is really very good, we were impressed by the quality of the dinner.

01/08/2024: We liked everything: we already knew Sesto, but we were surprised by the SUPER quality of the hotel especially with regards to the meals (not three stars! I would suggest four plus the moon 🌙). All the girls on the staff are very kind and helpful, with a particular mention for Karin who manages everything perfectly. Highly recommended, we will be back 😊
28/07/2024: I stayed in this hotel 25 years ago and I must say that I fell in love with it.. Upon my return, a couple of weeks ago, unfortunately I didn't have those beautiful memories.. There has been no improvement in the rooms, sticky TV cabinet and old linen especially the towels.. For the price we paid in Bad and breakfast I expected much better quality than 25 years ago and at least a renovation of the rooms.. I'm sorry

21/08/2024: You get to Gallo Cedrone via the Mont'Elmo cable car, for which we pay 32 euros per person for the return journey. We decide to do it on a rather overcast day with a chance of rain. Once out of the cable car, we turn right and take a short 10-minute stretch of road that is almost entirely uphill, until we see the refuge.
Given the uncertain weather there are no problems in sitting 6 of us immediately, we order after a few minutes.
We also spent a few minutes talking with the friendly owner, who told us little anecdotes about the area.
The dishes arrive quickly: appetizing polenta, pasta with venison ragout and macaroni alla shepherdess according to a complex family recipe that only the owner is able to repeat.
Overall, all in all satisfactory, prices are slightly high, with an average of €20/person spent to eat 6 first courses, water and 3 portions of dessert.
11/08/2024: Location: Located a short distance from the Monte Elmo ski lift station, this refuge is easily reachable after a short hike.
Menu: It offers a mainly tourist proposal, but with attention to local tradition, offering dishes that reflect the gastronomic roots of the area.
Service: The staff are courteous, fast and effective, ensuring a high-quality service and a no-frills experience.
Bill: Prices are in line with those of other venues in the area, offering good value for money.

05/08/2024: Ottima esperienza. Ci siamo stati per il compleanno di nostra figlia. Piatti tutti molto buoni e un'ottima qualità degli ingredienti. Abbiamo chiesto una torta per l'occasione e ci hanno preparato una Sacher buonissima. Il personale è stato impeccabile, gentile, disponibile e anche simpatici. L'ambiente è tipico Trentino, ben curato. Consigliatissimo. Grazie!

Menu vario ma estremamente curato
Piatti tipici, grandi classici anche rivisitati (sempre super la pasta fresca ripiena), piatti per vegetariani e vegani.
Tutto molto abbondante.

11/07/2024: Pessimo carissimo e non mangi niente di che pessimo anche servizio mangiato due panini con salsiccia un würstel cotto due birre e un caffè speso 42 euro considerato che panino con salsiccia 6 euro e un würstel pagato anch’esso 6 euro un vero furto non consiglio
11/07/2024: Sono anni ormai che quando veniamo in alto adige ci fermiamo almeno una volta a pranzo in questo chiosco. Personale giovane e allegro, cortese e veloce nel servizio. Cibo ottimo di carni locali. Io prendo quasi sempre un buonissimo mezzo pollo allo spiedo con un'insalata di patate deliziosa. Ne abbiamo provati molti, ma per me e mia moglie è il miglior chiosco dell'alto adige, e merita sempre una sosta. Complimenti.
