23/06/2026: We ended up there more or less by accident, simply because we were hungry. And we were very pleasantly surprised: the service was very friendly, and the drinks arrived very quickly. The salad bar was rather basic, but adequate. The food also arrived quickly and was delicious! I've never had tagliata served with fried potatoes before, but oh well, it is South Tyrol after all 😄 The goulash with bacon dumplings was very tasty! The only downside is the ambiance (the plastic sheeting on the terrace makes it a bit stuffy), but otherwise, a definite recommendation!

The kitchen offers excellent traditional dishes, carefully prepared using quality ingredients, expressing the region through authentic and distinctive flavors.
The staff is always friendly, smiling, and helpful, while the owners deserve special mention for their warmth, hospitality, and attention to each guest—qualities that truly make the difference.
A mountain hut that retains its authentic soul and offers a pleasant experience, with good food, sincere hospitality, and views that invite you to slow down and enjoy the mountains.

10/08/2026: We stopped at this place by chance on our way to the Aurina Valley. We had a barley soup with vegetables, which, to be honest, I wasn't thrilled with, and burrata-filled ravioli with Taggiasca olives, dried tomatoes, and zucchini. These were very good and flavorful. The ingredients were of good quality. The Forst beer was a must. We ate outside, so I can't say what the inside was like. The staff was friendly.

13/06/2026: The hut offers a fantastic view of the Zwölferkofel mountain. The staff was very friendly. We had an Aperol Spritz and a currant spritzer :). There is a wide selection of drinks and food.

20/06/2026: The Kaiserschmarren was lukewarm and arrived very quickly. But the €1.50 surcharge was outrageous, and even worse was how little there was. A maximum of two tablespoons... ridiculous! I walked on for 30 minutes to the next cheaper place, and many more besides.
