03/01/2025: We stayed for 4 days at the end of the year. We had the dinner offered by them, excellent service from a starred chef accompanied with music and fireworks, in short, nothing was missing at all. We found a suite at the last minute, calling it a room was an understatement given its size.everything very nice and very clean. Definitely an experience to recommend

Schönes traditionelles, gewachsenes Hotel **** auf höchstem Niveau, von Familie Prunner mit Herz geführt - die Mitarbeitenden werden hier sehr wertgeschätzt, sind unglaublich engagiert und sehr freundlich! Wir fühlen uns hier immer herzlich willkommen, können hier wunderbar entspannen, abschalten und genießen. Es ist kulinarisch topp, es fehlt nichts, die Küche macht einen tollen Job und im SPA finden wir eine Oase der Ruhe. Was will man mehr… Unser Lieblings Hotel in Südtirol!

12/11/2024: Location from another time. Truly evocative. Informal, efficient and accommodating service. I expected something more from the goulash (hard and not very tasty), but the rest was excellent. Rabbit.

10/11/2024: Old renovated farm, typical environment with typical South Tyrolean food with a wonderful smokehouse room. Absolutely worth trying! Very friendly and helpful staff.

02/01/2025: Soul food thrilled us from start to finish! The food was simply outstanding. The pizzas in particular, La Nonna and Felicitas, were an absolute highlight: wonderfully fluffy, crispy and perfectly balanced in taste. The pickled tomatoes in combination with the burrata were simply fantastic - a harmonious explosion of flavor. As a starter we chose a croquette variation with smoked cheese – a fantastic way to start. Finally there was a tiramisu which was by far one of the best I have ever tried. It was incredibly fluffy and tasted absolutely amazing. The ambience rounds off the experience perfectly: beautifully designed, cozy and inviting. The service was consistently friendly, attentive and warm - you feel completely welcome and well looked after. An absolute heartfelt recommendation for everyone who appreciates great food, a great ambience and warm service!

23/12/2024: I was at the beautiful campsite next door with my camper and didn't want to walk far. What luck, because Soulfood has the absolutely perfect pizza, otherwise wonderful food, delicious wine and very courteous and friendly service. I can really recommend Soulfood without reservation and advise you to reserve a place, because not everyone is as lucky as I am to get a table spontaneously. Thanks for a very nice evening to the Soulfood team!

16/01/2025: This inn is something very special! A little outside of Verdins, but still easily accessible. Really great food, we had pizza and pasta and went there three times this holiday! That says it all. Friendly, quick service. When it's very full, the acoustics are difficult and loud, but that's somewhat normal in such a small restaurant where everything takes place in one room. We are thrilled and will definitely come back more often in the future! Keep it up!

01/01/2025: Review: New Year's Eve Menu Experience We enjoyed the menu offered at this restaurant on New Year's Eve after making a reservation 1-2 days in advance. Unfortunately it was too short notice to get a vegetarian menu, so as a vegetarian I had to switch to the normal menu with fish and meat. Eat: The menu was nicely presented and the dishes were quite tasty, but that certain icing on the cake was missing to make the meal special. What should be positively highlighted, however, is the non-alcoholic cocktail accompaniment, which was a real highlight of the evening - creative, excellent in taste and perfectly coordinated. Service: Unfortunately, the service was the biggest weak point of the evening. Although the staff were friendly, there was a severe lack of organization and attention: • When we arrived we were left in the dark as to how the evening would proceed. It was probably planned to start with an aperitif, but no one instructed us. We didn't know where to put our jackets or which table to take. We ended up taking the jackets away ourselves and getting a drink at the bar. • During the meal, the empty plates sometimes sat on our table for a long time, and it felt as if we had been seated at an “unfavorable” table because rarely anyone came. We had to actively ask for water or other drinks several times because the waitress didn't ask on her own initiative. • We also noticed that the table right next to us, which had been left hours before us, had not been cleared away properly. Crumpled napkins and a dirty tablecloth remained visible the entire time - an unsightly sight that significantly detracted from the atmosphere. Atmosphere: Another point that struck us as unpleasant was the behavior of the staff. The waiters, mostly very young, came towards us from the kitchen, some of them chewing. Through the glass door to the kitchen you could even see a person sitting on the kitchen counter - a sight that somewhat questions the professionalism. Conclusion: A mixed experience. The food was fine, and we loved the non-alcoholic cocktail accompaniment. But the service and organization left a lot to be desired. Especially on an evening like New Year's Eve, when guests expect something special, more attention, cleanliness and professionalism would have been desirable.

21/01/2025: Whenever we come to Schenna, which is four times a year, we reserve a table in the Mair Stub'n. The menu is extensive and sure to have something for everyone. At least always for us. The food is very good and plentiful. Even a handsome man can get his fill. The house wine also tastes delicious. The price/performance ratio is very good. The winter garden is bright and friendly. The service is always helpful and very friendly. You feel in good hands. We always enjoy coming back.

30/10/2024: If anyone is looking for a cheap option for dinner, this is the place for them. Unfortunately the sauces (were used 3 times in the "test meal") are very bland and thin. The meat is well cooked or cooked to perfection. The service is friendly and the drinks and food is served very quickly. If you want to spend a little more money, some hotel restaurants are better served. The decision is yours...

27/12/2024: our family spent 3 wonderful nights at this hotel from 23rd to 26th December 2024. with great food for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. the breakfasts are varied. the guy fried omelets, pancakes and waffles in front of us. The room cleanliness, daily housekeeping and towels are 200% amazing! Garden room with panoramic mountain views. clean pool, jacuzzi and outdoor pool, saunas.-very comfortable.the only thing without supervision. thanks to the Dosser family!!!

29/08/2024: We spent a wonderful hiking holiday here for a week at the end of August 2024. A super nice hotel with a top 🔝👍🏻 price-performance ratio!!! Great location with a wonderful view of Schenna and the Meraner Land! 🤩⛰️ Excellent food (half board) with very friendly and courteous service throughout the hotel 👍🏻 The rooms are very tastefully furnished and always cleaned perfectly every day, as well as tip top 👍🏻 A big thank you to the entire Sunnwies team for a wonderful time in Schenna 🤗☀️🍀⛰️🚠⛰️☀️☀️☀️

28/10/2024: Ausgezeichnete Küche in hervorragendem Trattoria-Ambiente zu Top-Preisen! Service ausgesprochen aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Pasta, Fleisch, Fisch, Weine und Desserts super! Alles jenseits der üblichen Massenabfertigung anderer Lokale in dieser Gegend. Wirklich eine (An-)Reise wert!
