16/01/2025: The location is splendid, very well looked after with very kind staff, the fantastic spa, the speed of room cleaning needs to be improved + the manager at reception.
14/01/2025: The first hotel where everything was really right and there was nothing to criticize (rooms/service/kitchen/wellness/activities).
An overall very well thought out concept, tastefully and luxuriously furnished large wellness area with something for everyone.
The whole thing is rounded off by the wonderful location with a number of outdoor activities (skiing/tobogganing/hiking/biking).
The cuisine is very high quality, varied and balanced (very good wine selection too).
We will definitely come back!

09/01/2025: A well-worth seeing and successful spatial concept for the restaurant in the new Lanzenschuster: panoramic views and a large outdoor terrace. Inside there are different seating areas, including the “Alte Stube” or a barrel, which are designed with old and new wood in different surface structures. Colored chairs and upholstery pick up the colors of the larches and lichens.
The service is friendly and super fast, the menu has standard dishes, but also something different (chestnut pumpkin dumplings). The price/performance ratio is very good, the portions are good, e.g. €15 for pork schnitzel with outstanding (!) fried potatoes or €11.5 for the house noodles.
Lots of locals come and that speaks for itself! A real recommendation and enrichment for the local catering industry.

18/09/2024: We haven't even been there yet but we're already positively impressed. The Kirchler family helped us with a scheduling problem so warmly, uncomplicatedly and extremely accommodating in advance that we can't wait to enjoy our stay there. Unfortunately, it's almost impossible to find such extreme customer friendliness these days. If I could give this 10 stars I would give it 12.

13/12/2024: Still far from mass tourist flows and for this reason I'm a little regretting publishing this review. Everything is perfect here: dishes, wine, prices, location, environment, service. What you would want from a gasthof on Sunday lunch. If only they were all like that...
02/12/2024: A place that if you don't know it, you won't get there by chance. Above Bolzano, typical South Tyrolean Gasthaus, with local products and typical cuisine. The decor is "that of the past" and has a beautiful effect, the food is good, the weakest part in my opinion are the desserts.

The portions of the first courses are a little small.
10/11/2024: Very nice place, nice view. The problems started as soon as we arrived, given that even though we had booked, our table wasn't there and we waited 30 minutes at the counter. For this mistake, we were offered a spritz while waiting at the bar. We were then given an outdoor table, even though we had booked inside (luckily it was a beautiful sunny day). Then the waitress wanted to take our order without even having brought us the menu. Next we ordered the Schlutzers. They arrived after more than an hour and a quarter. During this time of waiting, no bread was even brought to us. We asked for it once and after they didn't bring it we went inside again to ask for it and took it out ourselves. The Schachtplatte also took an hour and a half. It was now around 4pm and it was starting to get cold. Then we moved inside. They didn't even come to ask us how many portions of dessert and chestnuts we wanted. We had to go in again to order. Once I entered the counter to order, I seemed invisible, because I wasn't calculated in the slightest. While I wanted to order I discovered that the poppy krapfen were finished. So, fed up with all these continuous expectations and failures, we only ordered the chestnuts.
At the time of the bill we pointed out all these problems and after requesting it we were given a discount, otherwise we would have only been offered a liqueur.
In summary: the food was reasonably good, but the service was so bad that I would never return. Sin.

24/08/2024: Secondo anno di fila che io e la mia compagna passiamo le nostre vacanze in questo posto, e sicuramente ci torneremo anche il prossimo anno. Che dire, ce ne siamo innamorati. Più che delle camere spaziose ed accoglienti, più che del cibo favoloso della signora Anne Marie, più che del panorama spettacolare, ci siamo innamorati dell' atmosfera che si respira: tranquilla ed amichevole. Perfetto per chi vuole rigenerarsi.

Affacciata sul Catinaccio, con tavoli esterni sia fronte montagna sia lati “meno fortunati “
Con vista sul prato.
Menu tipico di buona qualità. Personale attento e molto cordiale.
Unica nota negativa: troppo mosche che si aggiravano sul tavolo

28/09/2024: Es war sehr schön und erholsam. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und bewirtet. Sehr zu empfehlen!
Die Zimmer sind schön und stilvoll eingerichtet. Das Haus ist sehr sauber. Das Personal ist äußert freundlich und aufmerksam.
Das Frühstück - mal kein Buffet, was uns sehr entsprochen hat - ist reichhaltig, vielseitig und sehr lecker. Zudem wurden Eier auf Wunsch frisch zubereitet.
Das Restaurant ist auch stilvoll, klar und gemütlich eingerichtet. Das Essen ist sehr gut und schmackhaft!
Die eine Haube im Gault Millaut ist mehr als verdient.
29/08/2024: Wir haben an einem der kleinen Tische draussen gesessen. Ganz fürchterliche Lage. Wenn die Autos und insbesondere Motorräder hier vorbeifahren, versteht man sein eigenes Wort nicht mehr. Das Essen war gut, aber was soll man an einem Wiener Schnitzel auch falsch machen. Hier wird manches vollkommen überbewertet. Wir haben uns allerdings bei der Rechnung sehr geärgert. 2 x 2€ für Gedeck. Das ist Abzocke. Ohne Gedeck hätten wir mit den Fingern essen müssen?? oder was soll das? 2€ für ein Platzdeckchen??
Wir werden wohl nicht nochmal kommen.

10/11/2024: Location spettacolare immersa nel verde e con vista montagne bolzanine..suggestiva e rilassante!
Cibo tipico altoatesino di ottima qualità e buon rapporto qualità prezzo.
Molto bello il fatto che all’esterno ci siano giochi per bambini dove possono distrarsi divertendosi!

04/01/2025: Sosta in questo locale che si trova a San Genesio. Giornata soleggiata ma i posti fuori erano solo due tavoli purtroppo gia' occupati. Direi che abbiamo mangiato le migliori uova-speck- patate di tutte le altre malghe che abbiamo vvisitato in questi 5 giorni di vacanza. Signora anziana molto gentile e disponibile. Prezzi contenuti, servizio veloce. Consiglio vivamente di provare.
