First of all, rating a guesthouse with stars is completely pointless. Everyone's looking for something different, and that's reflected in the star ratings. As for us, we struggled up the hill on our bikes – it gets really steep towards the end. But it was worth it. We were practically alone in the quaint pub. One table was occupied by local women, and at another, a group of men were playing what I assume was a game of Schafkopf (a German card game). They'd probably been sitting there together for decades, giving the place a "it is what it always is" atmosphere. I like that sort of thing. The landlady was friendly, with a good sense of humor, and made for an enjoyable stay for my wife and me. The menu is concise, which we appreciated. The food was hearty and of high quality – and served with a smile. The price was absolutely reasonable. We'll definitely be back, perhaps in the summer when we can sit outside and enjoy the fantastic view.

A nice, cozy place with friendly people and very good food.

After a two-hour hike above the village of Valas, admiring the woods and meadows, we reached the Leitlkeller farmhouse restaurant. The location is beautiful, the food is delicious, and the view is wonderful.

Incredibly friendly and incredibly delicious. I highly recommend stopping by!

The place is very well-kept and has a breathtaking view. BUT, there are some BUTs. The food isn't up to par with the mountain hut, so I'd rather give it a poor rating because it doesn't quite live up to our mountain culinary standards. I recommend a partial revisitation of the menu, making the ragù richer/flavorful. PS: We're from Emilia-Romagna. Thanks for everything, anyway.

Wonderful experience. We were greeted by a large but very sweet dog that we covered in cuddles. The outdoor seating area had a beautiful view, the interior was very beautiful and typically South Tyrolean. The staff were kind and helpful, and the food was incredible! Authentic homemade flavors, with simple but tasty ingredients! Even their homemade amaro was delicious. The price was very fair for the quality and portions! A quiet and quiet place. We'll definitely be back!

We cycled up here from the campsite 4 km away. The effort was worth it. Great atmosphere, beautiful views, and good food.
