26/02/2026: Nice restaurant in San Candido city center, the food and the service were good for an overall fair price, but the nicest part is the atmosphere: you can’t really tell from outside but the dining hall is quite fancy. Overall, i recommend it
09/02/2026: A very nice place, both outside and especially inside, converted from an old theater. The service was impeccable. We ate well, both the pizza and local dishes (canederli and spinach spaetzle). The only downside: paying €9 for two 0.75-liter bottles of tap water (as is customary in local restaurants) is something I just can't stomach.... Otherwise, the prices are average for the place.

The professional and welcoming staff, along with the owners' attention to detail, are always available and extremely kind, making our holidays here unforgettable. We've found "our refuge" to always live up to our expectations.
09/12/2025: I had a pleasant weekend. I must compliment the entire staff for their care and attention to guests. The restaurant is excellent for both breakfast and dinner, and the spa is very well-maintained, although a bit small.

19/12/2025: The hotel's location is excellent, allowing you to reach the ski lifts on foot. Prices are fair. The staff is friendly.
We stayed half-board in a Baranci room.
I especially enjoyed the appetizer and side dish buffet, which was truly varied and inviting.
Breakfast was also very good.
Our room had simple furnishings and a large, renovated bathroom. Excellent.
The wellness area was not bad, but something could be improved. The heated rooftop pool and the new sauna with a view are excellent! (In the winter, I was only able to use the pool after the sauna, but that's fine!).
I recommend this hotel.
26/09/2025: Overall, an excellent hotel; well-appointed suite with a comfortable bed and pillow, fantastic rooftop pool, and friendly, welcoming staff. I would have expected more from the somewhat small wellness area and the kitchen, as the dishes served, while excellently prepared, were very simple.

20/02/2026: Attracted by the butcher's shop window, we stopped in the cafe bistro. The mixed platter of cold cuts was superb. The spaetzle was good, and the mixed grill and sausages were excellent. The staff were very attentive and friendly.
02/02/2026: My husband and I came to see the magnificent butcher shop and have a bombardino at the Bistrot. Already fascinated by the place, we came for dinner. And the review was even more positive. Very kind waiters, varied menu, tasty food, prices in line with the standards of a high-end mountain resort. Excellent location 👍🏼

25/12/2025: I've been going there for years, but this year I was disappointed. Prices have gone up and are different for tourists and locals, a glass of tap water costs €1.20, and the service is at a minimum. It's convenient because it's close to the ski lifts, which is a shame. I also don't like the latest renovation; they removed the fireplace and bathrooms to make room for tables.
17/12/2025: We had an excellent meal here today. The atmosphere was lovely, bright, very modern yet cozy, the staff were very friendly, and the food was superb. Both the Tyrolean Gröstl with beef and fresh coleslaw and the tagliatelle with cherry tomatoes were truly outstanding. To finish, we had two scoops of homemade ice cream. Fantastic! We'll definitely be back.

25/11/2025: I visited the restaurant based on reviews, and honestly, it's absolutely terrible. First of all, it's tiny, like a buffet. Then the food is awful, may God preserve our blessings. The restaurant smells like oil; it got all over my clothes. I don't know if I cooked in broken oil, may God preserve our blessings. And the food is expensive! I miss the buffet behind my house in Saudi Arabia.

04/03/2026: Some friends of mine who live nearby highly recommended this place, so one evening after we climbed the Tre Cime, we headed here to try it. We had ham soup, not bad, tagliatelle with venison ragù, very good, and finally apple fritters, which were also really good. It's a very cute, rustic place, and reasonably priced.
28/02/2026: We dined on a Saturday evening without a reservation and were lucky to find a table around 7:30 PM. The owner welcomed us very kindly, as did all the young waiters. We had pasta and beans, a cream of mushroom soup with potatoes, and delicious dumplings in broth. I must say that the rosticciata we ordered for our second course wasn't what we expected... It was different from the usual, dark, and with only a few potatoes... But we enjoyed it anyway. The Kaiserschmarren, or emperor's omelette, was very good. In total, we spent 153 euros.
