08/12/2025: For a special meal, the Apollonia Inn is a great place. The dishes looked and tasted delicious. When we were there, they offered vegan chestnut cream soup and potato rösti with various vegetables and cream. Unfortunately, the soup was only partially vegan. It should have also included beetroot and potato fritters. Furthermore, the portions weren't very large, so we were feeling a bit hungry again after a short while. We commend their commitment to catering to vegans. A vegan "standard" or simple dish would be the next logical step.
06/12/2025: Well, what can I add that hasn't already been said? Fantastic food from a small menu. South Tyrolean classics with an Italian twist. Plus, a focus on regional ingredients, but not overdone. Our service was truly delightful and very attentive.
And then, of course, the covered terrace offers a picture-perfect panoramic view of the valley.
There's a nice playground for children in front of the building.
Prices are slightly on the high side, but almost too good to be true considering the quality. The selection of local non-alcoholic beers was a pleasant surprise. You can definitely see a trend there.
A detour from the valley is well worth it, especially when it's over 30 degrees Celsius "down below."
Reservations are recommended.

22/12/2025: This restaurant has long since become a firm favorite of ours. We've been here many times and always feel welcome from the moment we arrive. The cuisine impresses with consistently high quality, meticulous attention to detail, and a palpable passion for good food.
We especially appreciate the warm atmosphere and the attentive, genuine service, which makes every visit pleasant and relaxing. It's precisely this blend of enjoyment, warmth, and consistency that keeps us coming back.
A place we're happy to recommend – and one we'll be visiting again and again in the future.

An absolute highlight on the Wine Route – Chef Christian is a legend!
Restaurant Pircher in Nals is a gem! The atmosphere is rustic and very cozy, nestled amidst beautiful apple orchards. A perfect place to unwind.
The food is excellent – honest, hearty South Tyrolean cuisine that always tastes great.
But what makes this place truly unforgettable is the hospitality: The service is warm and friendly. Chef Christian deserves special mention; he's truly one of a kind! His energetic and warm personality creates a personal and unbeatable atmosphere.
In short: A must-visit in Nals! We always love coming back for the fantastic food and the unique hospitality.

19/10/2025: We stayed in the ground floor apartment Theo with our child and dog. The apartment is very well maintained, and the owners are super friendly and take great care of their guests and the farm and its spacious garden. We felt very comfortable at the Krösshof and can wholeheartedly recommend the accommodation – thank you for your hospitality!
01/10/2025: We've been here for years, preferring the top apartment. This one has one advantage: a small balcony with a view towards Bolzano, and a terrace on the other side with a view of Merano.
You should be able to climb stairs easily, as the steps to the upper floor are higher and the ceiling lower.
But otherwise, everything is wonderful: fresh rolls hang on the door handle in the morning and fill the entire house with the aroma, the supermarket is within walking distance, the Adige cycle path is right in front of you, and so on...

Boutique Hotel Zum Rosenbaum

01/12/2025: We first stayed here in October 2025 and are still impressed by the quality of the hotel, the room amenities, and the service and wellness area.
The younger generation, together with the senior generation, is doing a fantastic job; you feel comfortable and are very well looked after.
We'd love to come back!

27/10/2025: We booked this place for Torggelen. Unfortunately, some of the typical Torggelen dishes (like Schlutzkrapfen) weren't available. The sausage and pork loin were good, but the dumplings were rather dry. The dessert was so-so. The chestnuts were brought to the nearby tables; they didn't ask us if we wanted them, and when I asked, they told us we'd have to wait a little longer (it was 2:30 PM and we'd been there since 12), so we didn't order them. It was quite expensive for what we ate, although since we didn't receive a receipt, we're not sure what we spent on what. The location is nice, the stable with the animals and the view of the valley are nice, but for what we ate and how much we spent, I wouldn't return.
28/08/2025: I haven't had such delicious apple strudel in a long time. Everything is freshly baked! Fair prices! Highly recommended!

13/10/2025: Pizza delivery or self-pickup. The pizzas are delicious and freshly made. Pickup only requires a short wait, and the staff is friendly. Everything is excellent.
10/09/2025: The pizza was delicious; we had the regular with scampi and arugula for €9.

(Zu) schneller Service - es wäre schön, wenn genug Zeit bliebe die Vorspeise zu geniessen, bevor der Hauptgang kommt - und auch die Pizza dürfte 2 Minuten länger im Ofen bleiben, dann wäre der Boden knusprig und der Belag gar...

20/11/2024: Der Nalserbacher Weinkeller liegt an der kurvenreichen Landstraße SP10 zwischen Nals und Tisens. Im familiengeführten Buschenschank werden Südtiroler Spezialitäten aus überwiegend eigener Herstellung traditionell zubereitet.
Der Buschenschank ist ein Roter Hahn Südtirol Mitgliedsbetrieb und schon lange kein Geheimtipp mehr. Die große Beliebtheit bei Einheimischen und Touristen erfordert eine zwingende Reservierung - das Platzangebot im rustikalen Gastraum ist nicht sehr groß. Die Familie Pallweber versorgt die Gäste auf sehr freundliche Art mit bäuerlicher Speis und Trank.
Ob Speck, Knödel, Rippchen oder Kalbskopf sauer - hier werden ausschließlich hausgemachte Traditionsgerichte in bester Slow-Food Qualität serviert. Eigenbauweine und Honig können auch zum Mitnehmen gekauft werden.
Zur Törggelenzeit im Herbst ist der Nalserbacher Weinkeller regelmässig schon Tage vorher Abend für Abend ausgebucht.

01/07/2025: Sono anni che frequento questo locale. Ci sono tornato di nuovo e sono rimasto estasiato dal fatto che la qualità dei piatti è ancora aumentata rispetto a prima, nonostante il livello fosse già eccelso! Bravissime le ragazze che gestiscono questo meraviglioso ristorante!

19/05/2025: Oggi sono passata a ritirare a Lagndo una torta alle fragole fantastica, mi ha servita la signora Hilli, molto simpatica e gentile che mi ha preparato la torta già perfettamente tagliata, con i foglietti divisori per ogni fetta, molto comodo per servirla ai miei ospiti. È la seconda torta che acquisto al Mein Beck di Lagundo e ci tornerò. Grazie
14/05/2025: Sono stato più di una volta con amici che andando in bici passiamo (apposta)di lì x una pausa.
Purtroppo o ci serviamo da soli andando al banco oppure è capitato già due volte che aspettiamo invano fuori che venga qualcuno e andiamo via!!
Io consiglio di mettere una lavagna con scritta: self service così ci mettiamo il cuore in pace e il problema è risolto!
