05/08/2024: Senn am Egg never disappoint us. Michel and his team are very creative and competent. Insider tip: they grill ribs and chicken for dinner in the evening for a few months ending around mid September, but he suggests you make a reservation because it’s super popular. Enjoy!

27/08/2024: Small, fine inn with a fantastic view from high above over the Adige Valley and Merano. A very nice innkeeper offers local dishes from a not completely overloaded menu. This is complemented by changing weekly dishes. Probably due to its location high on the hill and the access with numerous hairpin bends along the narrow road, the inn is not as crowded as most others in this region. This means you can usually come in without a reservation. For me an absolute must every time you visit this area!

04/09/2024: Unfortunately we discovered this restaurant on the last evening of our vacation.
Dirty, the pizza was sensationally delicious, the service was very good.
The parking situation wasn't easy, but that's how it is with good local places. Next time we're on vacation we'll probably go there for pizza first.
We didn't have enough time to try the ice cream, but it was also supposed to be very tasty.
The panna cotta was not only homemade, but also sensationally very good.
We would have to give two extra points for that alone.
Thank you very much and maybe see you next year.

19/08/2024: Four of us have been there several times in the last few days. The pizza was great and the waitresses were extremely friendly. We also got good tips for beautiful motorcycle routes nearby :) It's a shame that the shop is closed on Monday and Tuesday🫡🤷🏻♂️

15/08/2024: Best dinner of our vacation! We had dinner on the terrace yesterday. Like some others, we were lucky enough to get a table without a reservation. Great view, very nicely designed terrace. Excellent food with great different facets, plus great value for money! Very nice service on site!
We would recommend it again and again and thought it was a shame that we only discovered it on the last evening.
Ample parking available on site.
10/08/2024: Just took a short break there! Very nice service. A great panoramic view from the terrace.
Free parking nearby, also a good entry into the Marlingen Waalweg.

20/08/2024: Restaurant/Pizzeria with wood oven in Marlengo (BZ). Personally the best in the Merano area. Pizza with various types of dough, thin and crunchy. Room with huge windows that allow a view over the whole of Merano and the famous racecourse. Try it you won't be disappointed. Possibility to stay overnight in a hotel.

19/08/2024: Excellent restaurant in Merano, with a large car park outside which is very convenient, the dishes are very good, there is everything including meat and also excellent fish, we come here often, I recommend everyone to try it. Friendly services. The pizzas are also very good.
16/08/2024: Very well maintained, simple but good hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are tip top clean. There is also a bus stop nearby to get to the beautiful city center. But walking would also be possible. Ideal for a detour to Merano.

08/08/2024: Fine dining. The food was good, the portions could have been a little larger. The ambience is excellent and the service is good too.
03/08/2024: Starters were great. The burger was good & the pizza was ok. My wife's meat was very fatty and tough. We know that better.
Otherwise nice restaurant with a nice outdoor area.

07/05/2024: I ate crispy duck with vegetables (spicy). Service was very friendly. View of the trotting track in Meran, very nice. Good value for money! I'd love to come back.
27/03/2024: The last time I went 2 years ago, it wasn't known... the food was good and even though the portions were good and plentiful. Today a disaster, half an hour to have lunch and I didn't even have everything... because I had to leave. Large portions but not good. I recommend adding an extra person and maintaining the authenticity of the typical menu.

13/06/2024: Visito regolarmente ogni sabato questo posto per colazione e il cibo è spettacolare, ma l'ultimo sabato (08/06/2024) che sono stata lì, ho pagato con bancomat e uno dei membri dello staff ha digitato per errore 270 euro invece di 27 euro sul pos, come da valore consumazione. Dopo aver notato questa enorme discrepanza, ho immediatamente avvisato lo staff, che ha annotato i miei contatti e fatto foto della transazione avvenuta dicendomi che sarei stata contattata telefonicamente per fornirmi istruzioni sulla restituzione della somma in più prelevata. Ho aspettato 3 giorni senza ricevere alcuna chiamata, ho quindi chiamato la sede centrale e solo in quel momento mi è stato chiesto di scrivere un'e-mail descrivendo in dettaglio il problema in modo da essere ricontattata per investigare in dettaglio l'accaduto e in caso procedere al rimborso. Ho poi ricevuto risposta che mi rimborseranno i soldi meno l'importo della colazione, senza nemmeno fare la cortesia di offrimi uno sconto sulla prossima consumazione oppure offrirmi la colazione gratuitamente in segno di scusa soprattutto perché ho dovuto contattarli per sollecitare il rimborso. Francamente, ritengo questo comportamento poco professionale e inaccettabile nei confronti di un cliente perlopiù abituale.
19/02/2024: vergognoso,sono stato lì domenica con la mia famiglia all'esterno tutti i tavoli pieni di tazze sporche, bicchieri e posate sporche abbandonati dal personale le persone seduti davanti a le stoviglie sporche sui tavolini,una ragazza bionda che credo sia una cameriera era una maleducata che ignorava tutto e tutti mentre noi e altri clienti li ad aspettare,dopo circa 40 minuti e arrivata una ragazzina che parlava male il tedesco che parlava male l'italiano e con voce sottile ha detto che non potevano prendere ordinazioni dopo 40 minuti che attendiamo....MA VERGOGNATEVI .. prima di aprire nuovi punti vendita accertatevi di avere il personale qualificato e competente e che parli anche in italiano.da dimenticare.

28/06/2024: Von der grandiosen Lage einmal abgesehen gibt es hausgemachten sehr leckeren Kuchen, freundliche Menschen, gekühlte Getränke die während der Waal-wanderung sehr gut taten.
