It was great with you, ideal location on the Waalweg, very clean room with a beautiful view of Meran, friendly service staff, excellent cuisine, we were completely satisfied! Kind regards H&B

Great restaurant on the Marlinger Waal with a great view over Merano from the terrace. We had the bacon plate Marendteller and a dumpling soup. Super tasty and with the view and great weather it tasted twice as good.

Terrace looks very stylish from the Waalweg. But once you're on the terrace, it's very sober without any flair. Hardly any plants, nothing. The waiter wasn't particularly friendly either. So we are no longer drawn there. Then it's better to walk a bit more and go to Leitenschenke.

We stayed in a guesthouse nearby and walked there for dinner. Very good service, excellent food, good wine 🍷

Direkt am Marlinger Waalweg gelegen, empfängt den Wanderer gepflegte Südtiroler Gastlichkeit. 👍🏼😃 Eine tolle Auswahl an Spezialitäten als Vor-, Haupt- und Nachspeise, von verschiedenen Knödelgerichten über Fleischgerichte bis hin zum Saibling ... ist alles zu haben. 😋🍽🥂🍻🍹☕️ Zuvorkommendes und aufmerksames Servicepersonal macht den Abend angenehm und zu einem lukullischen Erlebnis. 👌🏼💯⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Wir waren zum Essen in der Waldschänke. Das Essen war sehr lecker und die Bedienung war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich.

07/04/2024: Good food but small and rather expensive portions. The environment is welcoming and pleasant.
05/04/2024: We have spent the last three days in a row at this fantastic steakhouse. The food was an absolute delight every time, regardless of our choice. The staff are incredibly attentive, super friendly and offer fantastic advice. The potato gratin in particular was an absolute revelation - I have never eaten anything delicious in this form. The Waygu steak from Japan is an absolute delight! We will definitely come back and would like to express our great respect to the entire kitchen team and staff.
