09/08/2026: We really loved this place! The food was great and the atmosphere was amazing. It has such a lovely and relaxing vibe, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming.
They have their own farm, so everything feels very fresh and freshly made, which makes the experience even better.
There is plenty of parking space right in front of the restaurant. I would recommend booking a table before you come. We walked in without a reservation and luckily they still had a table available for us.
The indoor seating area is also very nice and cozy. Overall, we really enjoyed the food, the atmosphere and the friendly service. Definitely a lovely place to visit!
06/08/2026: After seeing the episode about this place on TV, we stopped by during our trip to South Tyrol... we had a super delicious meal... highly recommended !!!!!

10/03/2026: I spent a very pleasant evening here with friends. It's a family-run restaurant, very cozy and warm, with attention to every detail. The food is exquisite. I was offered the osobucco, and it was a hit; it melted in my mouth, 10/10. And that cat 😊. I highly recommend it.

28/06/2026: Stayed here as our first night on AV1 after departing from Lago di Braies at 9am. Was a very manage first day with just the last 750m being tricky do to steep slope of the road. The Rifugio was fantastic with excellent food and drink, friendly staff and beautiful views

18/07/2026: We stopped here for lunch at the recommendation of friends who had been there before. Easy to get to, with convenient parking. The restaurant is decorated in South Tyrolean style, with great attention to detail, clean, and tidy. Even the restrooms were super clean (which is not a given).
The staff were friendly and helpful.
The pizzas were stellar! Delicious!! Thin and crispy with plenty of toppings. Excellent prices.
Highly recommended.

07/04/2026: I have been coming to this hotel for many years and it is now like a second home, the table service is perfect and the rooms are welcoming.
23/02/2026: We had a very pleasant stay. A cozy, homey atmosphere. The hotel is very clean and spacious. The food was delicious, including a generous breakfast and a four- or five-course dinner in the evening. The family and staff are friendly and welcoming. Easily accessible by car, public transport, and ski bus. The location is quiet and close to a supermarket and shops.

18/08/2026: This cabin, off the beaten path, offers peace and quiet in the middle of August. The view is beautiful, and there's even a children's play area. We ate well, and the desserts were delicious. Definitely a place to go to enjoy peace and relaxation away from the usual crowded trails.

05/01/2026: The food is delicious and beautiful and warm and welcoming. Unfortunately we went there to book and they didn't give us a table reservation. Then we went back after the aperitif and they made us wait because everyone had a reservation.

The cabin is idyllically situated in a small, green basin at about 2100m. Besides the delicious (home-cooked) food and tasty beer, you can especially enjoy the seclusion and escape the tourist crowds at the lake...
