09/02/2025: Mi dispiace ma non ci siamo per niente … camerieri assolutamente inadatti ( se non vi piace fare i camerieri cambiate mestiere ) il cibo comunque anche se tipico troppo speziato … la pasta completamente scotta … per me che frequento questa località da 50 anni assolutamente non consigliabile … a volte quando si vuole strafare si sbaglia … anche i prezzolati troppo troppo caro per il servizio e il cibo !

31/01/2025: Lo scorso anno siamo stati due volte e ci siamo trovati bene così quest’anno abbiamo pensato di portare tutti i nostri amici. Abbiamo prenotato di persona, specificando che eravamo in 10 e potevamo solo giovedì perché mercoledì avevamo da tempo prenotato cena in altro luogo. Il cameriere segna la prenotazione sul suo registro. Giovedì alle 20,30 ci rechiamo nel ristorante, ma il cameriere (lo stesso della prenotazione) ci riferisce che la prenotazione era per il giorno prima ed il tavolo non c’è! Lo fa’ con modi aggressivi, e ci manda via senza proporre alcuna soluzione ne ammette le sue colpe. Ci troviamo quindi senza cena alle 8,45 in un paese dove le cucine chiudono alle 9. Mai piu Plazores. Lo sconsiglio vivamente per la arroganza e la mancanza di rispetto assoluta del cliente.

11/01/2025: Ristorante caratteristico. Carne buonissima, cotta davanti agli occhi dei clienti su di una vera griglia a carbone. Menu fantasioso ma che rispetta la tradizione. Personale molto gentile e professionale, capace di gestire una clientela internazionale.

13/02/2025: February 2025-end of skiing adventure. Table booked. Upon arrival it was ready. Order accepted quickly and efficiently. Pork knuckle was recommended from outside the menu. Wow. Heaven in your mouth. Delicious sauce, and the pork knuckle itself melts in your mouth. Supposedly available only on Fridays. Beef tender and crispy. Pizza delicious. Delicious desserts. Friendly service. Prices normal. The place fills up to the last seat in a few minutes, it is worth making a reservation. Lots of parking spaces. You have to come back here.

12/02/2025: I recently visited this pizzeria, with really big company, but it was not problem, we had eaten so quickly. The pizza here is simply outstanding—thin, crispy crust, juicy toppings, and perfectly balanced sauces. Everything is made with fresh ingredients, and the aroma alone is enough to make your mouth water. I tried Tyrolese, with chanterelles, super. I didn’t make a photo, coz the pizza was eaten very quickly😜 And also mix salad and browny was excellent! I’ll definitely be coming back!

13/02/2025: Everything is perfect in this typical restaurant located at over 2,000 meters, reachable by cable car. Despite the constant coming and going of customers, the place is spacious and well organised, guaranteeing a pleasant experience. The staff, courteous and professional, is trained in several languages. My partner and I were pleasantly surprised by the quality and abundance of the dishes ordered, so much so that we couldn't finish them and took them home. The price is slightly high, but fully justified by the quality of service and food. We will be back! 🫶🏽

06/02/2025: We have been frequenting Pederu for years. Either as a starting point for Senes or Fanes or as an arrival point starting from San Vigilio. A place in an enchanting setting. Very well organised, helpful and efficient staff. The food is good, the portions are good, the price is right.

19/01/2025: Delicious thin crust pizza. They are served in pieces because the whole thing is of huge diameter. Cool atmosphere, lots of traffic and little space. But sometimes it's worth waiting a while.

15/01/2025: Piping hot and delicious pizza in San Vigilio! Stopped here for lunch during a ski break and we were blown away by the variety of the menu. Prices were great, service was quick, and in the evenings they have heated "igloos" to dine in!

07/10/2024: Rifugio Sennes fue nuestra primera pernoctación por la AV 1 , después de tomar autobuses desde Cortina y hacer la subida desde Lago di Braies. Fue una tarde que comenzó calurosa y soleada y terminó con viento y lluvia; y los que llegamos primero pudimos agacharnos bajo el dosel en la cubierta trasera justo cuando las gotas más grandes comenzaron a caer. Había vacas pastando por todas partes - El sonido de su collar - campanas sonaron en todas direcciones. Después de cambiarme a sandalias, dejar mi mochila y agarrar una cerveza, me senté en la cubierta trasera para disfrutar del ambiente. Fue uno de los muchos momentos destacados de mi viaje. El rifugio en sí era encantador, con un buen diseño y un personal amable. En comparación con los rifugios que visitaríamos más tarde, se sentía bastante espacioso. Y fue una de las dos cabañas en nuestro viaje para ofrecer un extenso menú para la cena. (Otros eran prix fixe - estilo). Mi plato principal de polenta con salsa de hongos era delicioso y abundante. Rifugio Sennes también se sintió el más 'germánico' de los refugios AV 1; estaba a solo una veintena de kilómetros de la frontera austriaca. Observé que el personal hablaba alemán e italiano (además del inglés). Incluso hubo un cuarteto visitante que tocó una canción corta, wake up 'oompah' por la mañana (me perdí la sesión de fotos). Después del desayuno estaba un poco triste por irme. Pero el siguiente rifugio estaba haciendo señas. 19/01/2025: Food: They have many varieties of pizza and you can order double impasto. The pizza in general in the north has very thin dough, but when you add double impasto, it is spectacular. 08/02/2025: Ciola Steakhouse in San Vigilio is an absolute must-visit! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and a genuinely friendly atmosphere. The staff were fantastic, making us feel welcome and offering helpful recommendations. But the real star of the show was the food. We ordered the 1kg Picanha and the beef tartare, and both were absolutely incredible. The Picanha was cooked to perfection, melt-in-your-mouth tender and bursting with flavor. It's easily the best steak I've had in town, and possibly anywhere! The beef tartare was equally impressive, fresh, and beautifully presented. If you're looking for an amazing steak experience in San Vigilio, Ciola is the place to be. Highly recommended!

03/02/2025: What can I say, everything is delicious! The perception is of being in the managers' home, thanks to the ladies who pamper you with a delicious fixed menu. Fast and friendly service. The price of the menu is €32 excluding drinks (orzetto starter, first course, second course and variety of desserts) and with a bottle of Lagrein we spent €90 for two. Only note: the portion of the first course was too much, but it would have been a shame not to finish it all, so we left rolling. The Doggye bag idea for leftover sweets is very nice.

30/09/2024: Very nice young couple, the food Fritaten soup and a mint water were very delicious. Very helpful in all things. A wonderful sight when you see the huts of the high Alps just before e rreach. Great landscape all around. The hut is very cozy and rustic. How you imagine it to be in an Alpine pasture.

08/12/2024: One star is too many and too well rated, at least when it comes to the friendliness and communication with the hotel staff and the owner of the Hotel Olympia. Unfortunately, I cannot rate the hotel itself because every appointment request I made with a purchased hotel voucher was canceled or offered with reduced other days and appointments (e.g. 3 days requested but only 2 days promised)! The whole thing went on for 3 years until the hotel voucher provider Greenstorm went bankrupt! I think that the Hotel Olympia was also lucky because now they no longer have to redeem the many vouchers that they sold via the portals, apparently over 116 of them. According to the law firm (information without guarantee)! It was particularly annoying for me because I had not only bought a hotel voucher for myself but also one for my sister. Well, I just wanted to put that on record, for me the Hotel Olympia is at least ticked off and so I won't find out how the owner family behaves on site and whether the hotel is recommended! Addition: When I asked that only my sister would redeem the voucher and I would let mine expire or they would count it towards my sister's, the Hotel Olympia refused on the grounds that the vouchers cannot be combined...! So it just wasn't meant to be
