04/05/2026: A truly lovely place where we had excellent sandwiches (burgers and currywurst) and amazing fries. The two owners are truly kind and cheerful, and I would absolutely recommend this place to everyone! The atmosphere is relaxed, and it's surrounded by beautiful greenery and a lovely river running behind it. The dishes are simple but truly well-cooked and tasty! We'll definitely be back. Excellent value for money.
18/04/2026: If the drive home from Venice via Cortina seems long, stop here, take a break, and grab a schnitzel (or something else...)! All the restaurants along the main road were closed, and only at Happy Snack could I catch my breath and recharge for the next 200 kilometers. 🚐

05/03/2026: Very welcoming and warm place, hearty traditional dishes (I didn't take photos of the other dishes but trust me); the room where I ate is not very large so it is advisable to book in advance (I don't know if there are other rooms). As for parking, we parked the car in front of a tractor on the hill because we didn't see where to park and if there was actually private parking, if you contact them to book, let them know about this.

19/05/2026: I came back because the experience has always been a 10, but unfortunately this time it wasn't the case. The service was less efficient and the buffet was very limited, not to mention the snacks. If the service is 3/4, you have to serve 3/4, otherwise you get half board and that's it.
27/04/2026: We had a fantastic suite. The food was delicious, and they were very attentive to my gluten intolerance!

20/03/2026: We stopped in spontaneously during a bike tour. We received a warm welcome. They served cappuccino and first-class apple strudel – I've rarely eaten such a delicious strudel!
07/03/2026: 💗 An authentic and precious jewel in Chienes, in the Pusteria Valley... a place where you might come by chance and then return by choice, because everything here is beautiful and precious: from the immaculately kept and comfortable rooms, to the silence broken only by the birdsong, to the greenery and mountains that surround you, to the attention to detail and, most importantly, the kindness and helpfulness of the owners.
Here you are "pampered", loved... here you feel at home and even better 🙂☺️💗 Here everything is good: from the air you breathe to the breakfasts where nothing is missing, from the homemade desserts, to the eggs freshly prepared to your taste, to the crunchy bread, the one with seeds that I like, ordered fresh every day from the bakery and Konditorei in Chienes 😍😋
You come here and then you can't wait to return. I will definitely go back because here I found a family who welcomed me and smiled and pampered me with great kindness and professionalism ❤️

13/10/2024: Non è la prima volta che veniamo qui. Locale molto accogliente con personale gentile. Ottima cucina attenta alla qualità dei prodotti, tutti provenienti dal territorio.
Ottima l'insalata di campo, specialità dello chef, con erbe che solitamente non troviamo in comuni insalate miste: trifoglio, loglietto, melissa e tante altre specie ognuna con il suo sapore caratteristico, e poi petali di fiori e fette secche di mela , il tutto condito con una salsa aromatica particolare. A concludere un buonissimo agnello in umido con patate e carote davvero squisite e un ottimo caffè. Buono il rapporto qualità prezzo. Consigliatissimo!
21/07/2024: Hotel molto carino al centro del paesino di chienes camere ampie e bagni spaziosi la sig.ra Petra con la sua bella famiglia accoglie i clienti con gentilezza e professionalità cibo ottimo tutto fatto in casa colazione superlativa .la regione trentino offre i biglietti del bus gratuitamente ai turisti e da li si può andare ovunque grazie al gasserwit per tutto

23/08/2025: A fantastic shop with super delicious cheese and great, very friendly service.
We shopped here and were amazed at how affordable this incredibly delicious cheese was. So my partner had to go back and pick up a little more to take home 🤣
If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely be back. 👍

30/12/2024: Bei tollem Sonnenschein habe ich mitsamt meiner Familie die Moarhof Alm besucht.
Die Bedingungen sind sehr freundlich und das Essen sehr sehr lecker!
Besonders die Käsenocken und das Knödeltris sind auf jeden Fall lobenswert!

29/09/2025: We had breakfast here for two days and really enjoyed it.
The staff is attentive, the prices are average, and their breakfast selection is varied, both sweet and savory.
Recommended if you're in the area.

26/07/2025: Si arriva dopo una comoda passeggiata adatta a tutti. La malga è bellissima e molto curata. Tutti i piatti assaggiati erano eccellenti. Il Kaiserschmarren indimenticabile. Prezzi assolutamente corretti.
10/07/2025: Abbiamo pranzato in questo rifugio dopo una camminata di circa 40 minuti (partendo da park Gelenke) e … che dire…soddisfattissimi!! La malga è molto curata all’interno e c’è un bel posto fuori dove prendere il sole sorseggiando una birretta fresca.. noi abbiamo preso il tris di canederli ed erano squisiti!! (Porzione abbondante)
Hanno il fasciatoio in bagno e l’inglesina quindi abbiamo trovato tutti i comfort per il nostro bimbo di 10 mesi! Ci torneremo !
