18/04/2025: The first stop upon entering South Tyrol is the Leitenschenke tavern near Lana. From the ambiance to the food (shepherd's macaroni) to the limoncello, everything is amazing!
...and the best part, of course, is the hosts, who have their hearts in the right place!
18/04/2025: The Leitenschenke has been a regular stop for us on every visit to South Tyrol for many years. The stunning ambiance among lemon and palm trees is unique, and the food is excellent 👌
The warm welcome from hosts Sonja and Tobias and the friendly conversation made us feel like we were staying with friends 🥰

04/04/2025: "Ein rundum gelungener Besuch! Das Wirtshaus überzeugt mit einer tollen Atmosphäre – sehr gemütlich, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und ideal zum Wohlfühlen. Die Pizza ist ein absolutes Highlight: knusprig, frisch und geschmacklich einfach top – besser geht’s kaum. Besonders begeistert haben uns Markus und Maria, die mit ihrer herzlichen Art und aufmerksamem Service den Abend perfekt gemacht haben. Man spürt sofort, dass hier Gastfreundschaft großgeschrieben wird. Wir haben uns sehr willkommen gefühlt und kommen definitiv gerne wieder. Eine klare Empfehlung für alle, die gutes Essen und ein angenehmes Ambiente zu schätzen wissen!"

19/04/2025: Wunderschöne Aussicht, freundliche Bedienung und ein tolles Essen.
Der Kellner hat uns sehr gerne die Tagesgerichte vorgetragen und auch ansonsten würden wir gut umsorgt.
Die Apfelschorle ist aus lokalen Äpfeln und schmeckt wirklich toll und die Weine selbstverständlich auch
10/04/2025: Very nice garden with a great view. We just wanted to have a glass of wine and coffee and were almost ignored by the landlady because we didn't order any food. Untypical for South Tyrol, a shame. The wine is a simple winemaker's wine, the wines from Mauslocher and Biedermannhof are significantly better.

10/12/2024: Excellent pizzas...highly recommended!
29/11/2024: I ate here in November, there was only pizza and a few desserts. Vegetables on the pizza were bland and the ham wasn't very high quality. The dough is also rather difficult to digest. But it's a matter of taste! Service friendly.

14/03/2024: Great location with a nice selection of very tasty food.
The side salad was great.
The staff was extremely friendly.
The mega view over the valley tops everything again.

08/02/2025: Siamo stati a cena, ordinato hamburger al prezzo di 18 €. Il pane era bruciato tutto nero. La pizza era fredda e la tagliata forse era un etto scarso. Conto totale 81 €.
05/01/2025: Abbiamo ordinato un carpaccio di cervo e ci è arrivata una tartare. Dopo aver rimandato il piatto in cucina ci è arrivato un piatto che piú che un carpaccio era un insalata con qualche misera fetta di carne, alcuni pezzi caldi altri freddi e di scarsa qualitá.
Ci riproviamo con il secondo ordinando due pezzi distinti di carne essendo uno strakhouse e chiediamo consiglio per la scelta del vino. Ci viene risposto che dobbiamo scegliere un rosso se mangiamo la carne (cosa piuttosto ovvia) e ci fanno assaggiare due rossi aperti di cui uno ci piaceva ma non sapevano indicarcelo sulla carta per sapere il prezzo, ne darci qualche informazione in più.
Le carni arrivate sono state una delusione, una Skirt Stake chiesta medio-sangue arrivata stracotta e un Ribeye decisamente non di qualità, ma c’era da aspettarselo visto i prezzi medio-economici per chi conosce le carni.
La cameriera che ci ha servito ci ha consegnato una delle piastre calde in mano e
l’altra appoggiata con noncuranza sulle posate.

25/11/2024: Wir haben an drei Abenden im Restaurant gespeist und wurden nie enttäuscht ,die Menüs waren in allen Gängen top zubereitet und waren modern angerichtet, die Qualität der verwendeten Produkte war hervorragend. Kleiner Kritikpunkt ,beim 5 Gang Menü war die Zeit zwischen Hauptgang und Dessert recht lang. Für das Gebotene ist das Preis -Leistungsverhältnis top ,auch die Flaschenpreise beim Wein bewegen sich beim Aufschlag der Bepreisung eher im unteren Segment .
Empfehlung ,jederzeit wieder .
10/11/2024: Schade. Wir sind mit gewissen Erwartungen gekommen, verließen das Restaurant aber enttäuscht. Da ist noch viel Luft nach oben.
Wir können leider keine Empfehlung aussprechen.
