Located near a bus station which is very well connected.
Dinner and breakfast were delicious, with lots of options to choose from.

When we arrived, all the slots were either occupied or full of plates, when the waitress finally showed up, we asked her to take the plates from the previous customers, she got angry, took three plates and only came after 15 minutes. When we ordered and she brought the food, she mixed up the order (I asked for GRILLED wurst) and I got some regular sausage from the store and in the end I only ate the dumpling. It smells of cigarettes everywhere. I DO NOT RECOMMEND

The food is extremely tasty, fresh and the plates are very full for the low price. Overall, very inexpensive and always worth a descent via the valley run.

25/12/2024: Great restaurant in Sand in Taufers with a rustic atmosphere! We had dinner here with 4 people. The staff was very friendly, attentive and tried hard. The food was very good. Viennese schnitzel and beef tagliata were good, the highlight was the tower salad! We enjoyed it very much, we were very satisfied and would love to come back! Absolute recommendation!!!

17/01/2025: The hotel is very nice, the staff is friendly and helpful. (Thanks to Pina and Paolo for their professionalism, kindness and friendliness)
We spent 6 days of relaxation, pampered between food and the pool/spa.
The structure is beautiful, it would definitely need some small maintenance work especially in the pool area.
The rooms are very hot, although the internal thermostat can be adjusted manually.
If you want to get away from the usual routine, Campo Tures and Feldmilla will certainly help you relax.
All in all, if I could, I would go back straight away.

13/02/2025: Die Almhütte ist nett und macht einen gepflegten Eindruck. Vor dem Eingang wird für Heißgetränke geworben, jedoch ohne Preisangaben.
Vor der Hütte stehen Tische mit Souvenirs und Würsten, die zum Kauf verlocken sollen.
Die Ernüchterung kommt beim Blick in Speisekarte. Die Preise sind doppelt so hoch wie in anderen Hütten dieser Region.
Die vier bestellten Speisen waren OK; zwei davon waren fad im Geschmack. Die Getränke wirkten auf den Werbetafeln origineller als in den Gläsern.
Wir wären gerne noch länger sitzen geblieben, fühlten uns jedoch ohne weitere Konsumation nicht mehr erwünscht. Insgesamt macht der Laden einen sehr gewinnorientierten Eindruck.
Der Wanderweg auf die Knuttenalm ist wunderschön, doch beim nächsten Mal nehmen wir uns eine kleine Jause mit und kehren nach dem Abstieg in den Pichlerhof in Rein in Taufers ein.

torrente , si rqghiunge la
malga a circa 2000 m di altitudine. Sole,neve e cibo invitante! si pranza e ci si riposo al sole all’esterno in comode sdraio ricoperte con pelli di pecora. Ottimi i succhi con mirtillo e irresistibile la kaiserschmarren!
Attenzione: si può salire da Riva ma la prima parte del sentiero e’ piuttosto impervia e ghiacciata e assolutamente sconsigliata in discesa con la neve. meglio portarsi con l’auto alla partenza del sentiero per la malga salendo da Riva a sinistra e oltrepassando la partenza della seggiovia !

02/03/2024: Rifugio molto bello e tipico. Abbiamo ordinato canederli e cotoletta,entrambi ottimi piatti gustosi e porzioni abbondanti. Consigliamo di andare se volete un pranzo tipico tirolese in un rifugio con una bella vista sulle montagne. Personale cortese. D’inverno non è possibile prenotare ma noi abbiamo trovato posto facilmente. Unica “pecca” è la strada che fatta in auto è molto stretta anche se tenuta bene e con spiazzi dove fermarsi per far passare le altre macchine,si consiglia di fare attenzione e di farla possibilmente con la luce del giorno. Il rifugio si può comunque raggiungere anche a piedi (con una camminata abbastanza ripida) o con gli scii. Buon rapporto qualità/prezzo per il posto. Abbiamo speso 20 euro a testa circa
