13/10/2025: We had a very relaxing time at the Drumlerhof! We spent four days at the Drumlerhof and felt completely at home. Starting with the warm welcome, the fantastic breakfast (pancakes 🤤), and the wonderful spa area – the massages are also highly recommended! We would especially like to highlight the family atmosphere, which made our stay even more enjoyable. This also included great recommendations for hikes and places to eat. The food in the restaurant is also truly delicious and leaves little to be desired – including an excellent wine selection and vegetarian options. Thank you for the wonderful time!

10/08/2025: Family-run hotel in a stunning location right in the center of town. The owner is very kind and helpful. The rooms are bright and comfortable. There's also a small spa with a sauna and Turkish bath. The view is enchanting.

22/10/2025: Amazing Food, Super Friendly Staff, and Open Late! A Must-Visit! We had a brilliant dinner experience at Pizzeria Rosmarin! The quality of the food was outstanding. I ordered the steak, and it was perfectly cooked and incredibly delicious. The pizza was also fantastic. What made the evening truly great was the combination of delicious food with their excellent service. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, and we especially appreciated that they were open late, making it the perfect spot for our dinner. I highly recommend Pizzeria Rosmarin to anyone in the area looking for great food, late hours, and a wonderful atmosphere. We'll definitely be back.

21/10/2025: We visited the restaurant for the first time today and were absolutely thrilled! We therefore absolutely cannot understand some of the negative reviews – the service and food were truly excellent!

05/10/2025: The atmosphere was cozy, but unfortunately not clean; the tiles on the wall were dirty. Unappealing. Service was abysmal. Slow, food arrived at different times. Inattentive, drinks were empty by the time the food arrived, and no one asked if we wanted another. We had a table overlooking the room with a bar, where someone who seemed to be acquainted with the staff was sitting. Chatting here seems to be more important than the well-being of the guests. Wiener schnitzel is offered on the menu; they served a pork schnitzel for €19.50. The side dish of fried potatoes was burnt and swimming in oil. The menu listed the snack platter as including a bread basket, but the bread basket was charged an additional €3. After complaining about the Wiener schnitzel, we were offered a coffee or schnapps on the house. Bottom line: not worth a visit; the value for money isn't right here.

Each course was a small work of art – subtly seasoned, with a masterful balance of freshness, depth, and aromatic diversity. The herbs played a central role and weren't simply used as decoration, but skillfully showcased, delicately, boldly, and intensely. You could taste with every bite that the cooking here is done with true passion. The meat was an absolute highlight – perfectly cooked to perfection, buttery tender, and of outstanding quality. It had that certain something you rarely experience – aromatic and slightly crispy on the outside, juicy and full of flavor on the inside. The service was also friendly, attentive, and competent – ​​you felt completely in good hands. Anyone who loves good food and values ​​quality and creativity shouldn't miss this experience. I'll definitely be back!

15/09/2025: My partner and I opted for the 5-course surprise menu. He went for the classic version, I went vegetarian, and we were both absolutely thrilled! Each course was lovingly prepared, perfectly balanced in flavor, and simply a real treat. We particularly appreciated that they asked us about any allergies or ingredients we didn't like at the beginning, which they then took into account when putting together the dishes. The value for money was also excellent! You're really happy to pay for the quality and creativity of the dishes here. The service was also wonderful! Our server was very attentive without being intrusive, allowing us to enjoy the evening in a relaxed manner. Overall, we had a thoroughly enjoyable evening and will definitely be back!

A visit to the Mausefalle is always a must on our vacations in Ahornach! The service is also excellent. The young man who served us was absolutely on the ball and super friendly. 🙂

06/09/2025: First, the criticisms why we didn't give it 5 stars: Our room was only accessible via a narrow spiral staircase. This should be included in the room description. The room had a sloping roof, which is critical for people over 1.8m tall. The bed was very low, and there was a hard wedge about 10cm wide between the mattresses, which was uncomfortable. The room had a clean, long-haired pile, which we don't think is ideal. What bothered us most was that there was only one towel per day for the sauna and pool. There were no additional towels in the sauna. We find this very unhygienic. A shame for such a great sauna area. The afternoon snack was only available from 4 to 5 and was very limited. If it weren't for the above-mentioned shortcomings, we would have given it 5 stars. Super friendly service staff. The dinner was excellent. We would still come back.
