05/07/2025: Anno dopo anno sempre una conferma a Bagno Vignoni. Prodotti eccellenti, sapori tradizionali di grandissimo livello e tutto condito da semplicità e un bel giardino. Insomma rapporto qualità prezzo davvero eccezionale. Purtroppo quest'anno non avevano la panzanella, ma non mancherà occasione in futuro per rimangiarla.

05/01/2026: We arrived for lunch, a couple with a 10-month-old baby. At the entrance, the waiter told us the air conditioning was broken, but that it would be fixed in 10 minutes. They put us on the veranda on January 5th, with temperatures far from ideal for lunch, while the staff ate inside in a comfortable atmosphere. The service was attentive, but the food was unremarkable: the terrine with melted pecorino cheese was good, the tagliata was average, and the pici alla bava was questionable, as were the crostoni. When we got to the bill, with two glasses of wine and two coffees, we were presented with a receipt for €89 (a bottle of water for €5). Not even a small discount for wearing a jacket and hat throughout the meal, especially with a baby at the table. Honestly, it seemed like a tourist rip-off, location aside, not a place we'd recommend to anyone who knows how to eat and treat customers in Italy.

11/01/2026: We stopped because we were feeling a bit peckish, and we can say we were right because we had a wonderful time, thanks to the atmosphere, the pleasant music, the service, and especially the fantastic toasted sandwich, which was truly delicious—so much so that I ate two! The place is very nice and I think it's a pleasant place for any occasion and any time of day. Thank you for your hospitality.

28/02/2026: The wonderful place where I brought my family for so many years has long been closed and abandoned. Is it possible that nothing can be done to restore its ancient beauty? It would be a great attraction for tourism and a source of employment for the local population. A real waste.

22/06/2025: Per mangiare e bere bene nel centro storico a San Quirico è il posto giusto. Locale molto curato, ben arredato, ideale per una cena intima così come per un pranzo fra amici. Il personale è preparato e gentile, attento ma non invadente. Ottima la qualità delle materie prime e piatti tipici, dagli antipasti crostoni (favolosi), salumi e formaggi, primi piatti (pici in primis) e carni di qualità. Carta dei vini variegata e attenzione ai vini del territorio, anche con etichette non così facili da trovare. Rapporto qualità-prezzo nella media, ma per qualità e servizio ne vale la pena. Locale consigliatissimo.

21/06/2025: We fancied a simple lunch on a quick visit to the town. This restaurant is managed by three generations of women. I had Nonna’s lasagna and my wife had cannelloni. It did the trick and was a nice break in the day.

01/03/2026: The appetizer was good (the only fresh item), the first courses were reheated in the microwave... I honestly wouldn't recommend it. Flavorless, and the pici were overcooked. Actually, after we sat down, the doubt arose... Isn't there a kitchen? A small appetizer of cured meats, two first courses, two glasses of wine, a bottle of water, and dessert were €69. I would have gladly left them there, if only the food had been fresh.

26/02/2026: We went there for lunch today and had pici with white Chianina beef ragù. Unfortunately, our experience wasn't the best: the pici were rubbery and flavorless, and the ragù had a strange taste. There was too much oil, and it almost seemed like a crostini sauce rather than actual ragù. Otherwise, I recommend going just for the wine, as they have a wide selection. The place is nice, right in the center of San Quirico d'Orcia. The staff is friendly. It's a shame, because for the quality of the food, we really paid too much.
