03/03/2024: Excellent prices and sandwiches, friendly staff..

27/10/2023: Sono entrata e nessuna delle due commesse al bancone mi ha salutata. Dopo aver atteso che chi c’era prima di me pagasse, sono stata servita ed ho preso 3 brioches, una pagnotta di pane bianco ed un filoncino di pane integrale, il quale è stato riposto in una busta di carta palesemente piccola che non avvolgeva completamente il pane e di conseguenza non lasciava alcun margine per la presa. Nel prendere le 3 buste di carta, che non hanno manici, il filoncino messo nella busta piccola mi è scivolato finendo sul pavimento. Io ho sorriso dispiaciuta perché non mi piace che il pane vada sprecato, ma la commessa mi fissava senza dire una parola. Ad un certo punto, a malincuore, le ho chiesto se me ne desse un altro e lei senza alcun accenno di gentilezza mi ha risposto “sì, ma lo paghi.” E come se non bastasse per sostituire il filoncino caduto ne ha preso un altro senza guanti, toccandolo con le mani, le stesse mani con cui poi mi ha fatto lo scontrino in cassa per pagare nuovamente. Il pane sarà anche buono magari, ma l’empatia è un ingrediente che sicuramente manca.

04/03/2024: Passing on the Cassia towards Siena, this small postcard village intrigued me. Afterwards we were their guests for a couple of nights. Stunning hotel with a magnificent terrace in good weather. The only small complaint is that the rooms are a little smaller. But being a historic castle it fits. Good dinner at the restaurant with traditional dishes and a small selection of local wines. A true oasis of peace a stone's throw from Montalcino and Siena. Until next time, good work

03/01/2024: We stopped on a road trip for a refreshment stop. Advised.

01/04/2024: It couldn't be more unfriendly. Went there to drink two cappuccinos and were treated so rudely by the lady behind the bar, even though we tried to order in reasonable Italian. No hello, no please, no thank you. Even the remaining money was literally thrown away at us. Apparently they don't like tourists here. So we can't recommend this bar at all, and the cappuccino wasn't good at all either.

08/11/2023: 3 times over 3 years i have stopped in this bar when completing the Via Francigena. All 3 times served by the 1 girl. Won't help with bus times, is more concerned about others in the bar, has to be told to heat food and the food is just thrown down. Not a great bar to finish a leg of via Francigena. There is another round the corner. I advise others on via Francigena to try there.

15/01/2024: Really good pizza and punctual and friendly service.

22/12/2023: We organized a party for 20 people, I knew pizza, it was delicious. We ordered sandwiches, arancini, panzerotti and cannoli. All very good, especially the very delicious cannoli and panzerotti. Really friendly, approachable, precise. Everyone very satisfied. I recommend for sure. Overall, excellent experience. Thank you.

02/03/2024: Mangiato antipasto con salumi misti di buona qualità. Poi primi piatti vari tutti buoni e anche abbondanti. Forse il rapporto qualità/prezzo non ottimale.
