27/08/2025: It's all subjective, as always... for me, the pizza is infinitely thin (a super crispy and very light "crust," which if you cook it 5 seconds too long gets burned (and out of 5 pizzas, 3 were well overcooked) and... you'd have to eat 2 to be full.........). The service is good: friendly, fast, and precise. The atmosphere, on the other hand, is aesthetically pleasing, but the room, despite its irregular shape, creates a huge echo of voices, and even with 15-20 diners spread out in the room, at our table we couldn't hear each other. Prices are average.
19/08/2025: Ordered takeout, but I still recommend making a reservation to secure a spot. Open for dinner only, they were quick and helpful. The burgers and fries were good, the pizza a little less so, but it's not my style and some might like it; it's a bit too thin and burnt. The sandwiches are average, I recommend it for a quick, no-frills dinner.

05/09/2025: A historic restaurant in Abetone, which, unfortunately, despite its good food, certainly doesn't shine in terms of hospitality, service, and service. Certainly not because of the staff, and certainly because of the large number of guests they have to serve. However, this should never be to the detriment of the customer. What a shame.
31/08/2025: La Casina all'Abetone is a well-appointed establishment, with a dessert counter that immediately strikes us with its variety and selection: truly inviting cakes, focaccias, and cookies.
There are, however, a few disappointing aspects. First, dogs are not allowed: I understand the rule, but I find it excessive to not even allow a 2-kg dog in your arms or in a bag. Furthermore, there is no wheelchair access, a detail that makes the establishment less than welcoming.
The most disappointing aspect, however, was the staff's lack of courtesy, particularly at the table. In a place with such meticulous attention to detail, smiles and kindness should be an integral part of the experience.
In summary: excellent desserts and a pleasant atmosphere, but the welcome leaves room for improvement.

02/09/2025: Wonderful place nestled in the woods... beautiful structure all in stone with attention to detail... clean apartment, beautiful and fully equipped... Stunning view and what can I say about Sandra the owner... Very good and very kind... we will definitely return to our wonderful mountains... the best!
05/08/2025: .... enchanting place... immersed in nature and its splendid magic.... reconnecting with yourself is a moment given the silence and charm that surrounds this house.....
Delightful apartment with thoughtful finishes... clean and reminiscent of love..... the road to get there is unpaved, but with careful driving it's easy... considering that I have a Lancia Ypsilon, I got up without any problems.....
Thanks to the landlady for her hospitality and availability...

27/09/2025: A restaurant that reflects Tuscan culture, local culture, and the authenticity of the Tuscans.
The food is excellent, from the polenta with porcini mushrooms to the tortelli and fried porcini mushrooms, and the dessert.
05/09/2025: Good food, restaurant with typical local products, I recommend the wild boar, the only flaw, if you can call it that, is the final price which initially was €70, after I said I would pay by credit card it turned into €70.50...

28/08/2025: Welcoming atmosphere with a beautiful panoramic view. The ravioli were good and the portions were adequate, but the mushroom veal cutlet was lacking in flavor and quantity.
21/08/2025: Dinner with a couple of friends. Sliced beef, carpaccio, and fried mushrooms. Tiramisu to finish. Everything was excellent.

15/02/2025: Servizio impeccabile, precisi e gentili. Per le pietanze, non proprio soddisfatto. Sapori non pervenuti o poco presenti, uso della panna nelle tagliatelle che copriva il sapore dello speck. A gusto mio no un ottima cucina, magari abbiamo trovato una giornata storta del cuoco.

21/08/2025: Very nice place, we tried the polenta with wild boar and the one with mushrooms. The one with wild boar was good, the one with mushrooms was so spicy it was unbearable.

01/08/2025: The hotel is in the 80s style. Breakfast is modest. It makes up for it with FANTASTIC staff, cleanliness, and memorabilia from the past. In the summer, for one or two(?) days as a rest on the road, it's GREAT.

10/10/2025: Probably, as they stated in response to a review, they have health problems. The place is dark. The service is not good and the food could really be prepared in advance and frozen because they serve it too quickly after ordering. I do not recommend it.

07/09/2025: Nice place with outdoor seating and good parking going up to Abetone, we ate good tagliatelle with mushrooms and good desserts, the service was excellent, the price in my opinion a little high.
03/08/2025: We had lunch today for 2, we had mushroom carpaccio with parmesan and arugula, first course tagliatelle with mushrooms and sliced meat also with mushrooms, side dish of fried mushrooms, everything very good, we couldn't finish everything so they packaged what we had left to take away, the waitresses were very kind, quality/price ratio was fair and in line with what we ate, we will return.

27/02/2025: Una polenta al formaggio solo 12 € .....come oro ..ci siamo fermati con i ragazzi a mangiare 3 polente 1 pasta e la mia polenta al formaggio 4 dolci e da bere 92 € .. sti capperi direi !! Pure il caffè orrido .....ne valeva il panorama poiché a 1700 metri e c era tanta neve ....la prossima volta mangio a valle !!!
01/01/2025: Qualità davvero abbassata rispetto ad anni passati,panini surgelati come quelli dell'autogrill,dosi dei bicchieri sia di vino che amari veramente bassa.cerchiamo di salvaguardare la qualità del cibo delle nostre montagne,lo so che non è facile con l'afflusso di gente ma volere e potere.manca l'etica.

06/09/2024: Ristorante a buffet carissimo e poco trasparente! viene chiesto addirittura un euro in più se paghi con carta di credito, ma l'euro in più richiesto non lo trovi nello scontrino ma viene aumentato un piatto rispetto al menu!

04/01/2025: Io e dei miei amici abbiamo deciso di provare questo “ristorante” trovato per puro caso, appena entrati la proprietaria ci ha accolti con un volto poco felice e appena stavamo per accomodaci il “cameriere” ci accoglie con una bestemmia…
Ci sediamo e le ordinazioni vengono prese in maniera scortese e poco professionale, arrivati al dessert, io e altri 2 miei amici scegliamo una torta con gocce di cioccolato e limoncello, tutto ci arriva fuori che questo dolce, di questa torta e arriva solo una fetta che rispecchiava la descrizione dataci dal “cameriere”.
Arrivati al momento di pagare decidiamo di pagare ognuno ciò che aveva preso, uno dei miei amici aveva chiesto se potesse pagare con la carta e la risposta era stata positiva, arrivati alla cassa il cameriere aveva già fatto lo scontrino e non ha dato così la possibilità di pagare con la carta e quando ognuno stava per pagare le proprie cose dividendo il conto la “cuoca” ha esclamato “ ragazzi però non posso pensarci io a farvi i conti, organizzatevi tra di voi” quando noi non avevamo un menu per poter suddividere le spese e tantomeno ci era stato fornito lo scontrino per poter capire gli eventuali prezzi….
Posto pessimo e di una scortesia inaudita
31/08/2024: Porcini freschi e filetto eccellente il tutto accompagnato da un vino rosso della casa che si abbinava perfettamente. Porcini fritti mangiati con le mani perché sono più buoni e le patate arrosto … idem! Semifreddo alle more delicato ma ottimo. Il locale è a gestione familiare marito in sala e moglie ai fornelli .
