Every time I set foot in this restaurant, I feel like I'm entering a friend's house: a warm welcome, genuine smiles, and an atmosphere that immediately makes you feel at ease.
The warmth with which you're greeted is rare and precious, and the familiarity that permeates every meal makes every meal a special experience.
The food is delicious, prepared with love and attention to detail, but what makes this place truly unique is the soul that goes into it. My sincere compliments: it's nice to know that places like this still exist, where you eat well and feel even better.
I'll be back again and again!

04/08/2025: We stopped in spontaneously and received very friendly service. The pizzas were delicious. A lovely terrace in the shade.
03/08/2025: Saturday evening, dinner for two, we ordered two special focaccias, a Coke, and water. We spent a fair amount compared to the specialty items, including goose and venison prosciutto. The dough was good, digestible, and very light, perhaps a little burnt, but overall good. A truly negative aspect of this place is the service. We politely asked if we could at least order a drink (since it's August 2nd and it's good practice to serve drinks) and were rudely told no because they only took orders as the tables arrived (with a gesture to go along with it). If it hadn't been for another waitress who kindly convinced us to stay, we would have left.
1. It's not a festival, but a restaurant; I'd like to remind the waitress of that.
2. I understand their dining room setup, but there's no need to tell the customer, and it's possible to respond more politely. I suggest: "Sure, I'll be right there. In the meantime, what can I get you to drink?" (15 minutes saved) or: "Yes, I'll send the head waiter."
It's a real shame, but this rudeness really hurts the restaurant.

19/08/2025: We finally got the fried anchovies that my husband loves so much. The owner's very nice daughter speaks German, which helped us with our orders and our requests. But English is also spoken here! 😀The food was wonderful, and we highly recommend the restaurant. The view at sunset is fantastic.
12/08/2025: Summer lunch with friends:
A very balanced menu with both starters and main courses.
Dishes are beautifully presented and very well balanced between the various combinations.
Excellent hospitality and service, all in a very charming and intimate setting.
We'll be back.

01/08/2025: We went to this lovely trattoria this evening. The food was excellent. The waitress, whose name, if I'm not mistaken, is Alina, was very kind and always smiling. Top quality for the price!

13/09/2025: Aside from the coincidence of a wedding party, which meant a lot of noise and loud music, on the low terrace, illuminated by very powerful halogen spotlights, we found several giant hornets flying around us, and bedbugs crawling on the wall above our table. We managed to kill two of them, and two more were killed by neighboring tables, but there were still some. So we were forced to eat quickly and run away. It's a shame, because what we ate was good. For the price, two portions of baked potatoes cost €5 each, which was a bit too much.

We've been coming here for nine seasons, and it's now like home. The beach is well-kept and welcoming, managed by Chiara, while her mother cooks alongside a staff that's always friendly and helpful. A place where relaxation, good food, and hospitality blend seamlessly.

20/08/2025: This place is one of the few in the area, and indeed in Tuscany, where quality and price match. An aperitivo with endless snacks is a delight. The staff is always friendly and smiling. I recommend it to everyone.
07/08/2025: Excellent breakfast with good croissants, the Merusi bar is a meeting point for the young people of Cinquale especially if you leave the beach disco at 5.15 on Saturdays 🔝

18/08/2025: On Sunday, my husband and I went in around 11 a.m. for coffee. I wanted a cappuccino, but the milk frother's steam wands were three inches thick, and it gave me goosebumps.
20/07/2025: Every time we're in Cinquale in Versilia, Bar Elio becomes our regular breakfast spot. And we don't mind if we have to wait a bit to see each other and enjoy the pastries. We're always more than happy to do so. Everyone behind the counter is always smiling; everyone, despite not having a second off from their busy schedule, always has time for a joke and a kind word. Which makes the pastries and drinks even more special.
And look for a young Djokovic if you can find him!!

27/08/2025: I've been going to this pizzeria for years. Always very good, and now they also have a very nice space with both indoor and outdoor seating.
The takeout is excellent for eating by the sea!
24/08/2025: I'm giving it 1 star because I can't give it less. We ordered 9 pizzas at 8 PM and were initially told they'd be ready at 9 PM, then called back and said they'd be ready at 10 PM. We were very understanding and didn't complain at all. We arrived at 9:55 PM to a half-empty restaurant and stood there for 5 minutes trying to get a waiter's attention before finally getting one. The waiter then went to the back and said it would be ready soon. 10 minutes later, the pizzas still weren't ready and we realized there was a woman waiting too, so we asked her how long she'd been waiting and she said it had changed from 9:30 PM to 10:15 PM. We waited another 5-10 minutes before asking another waiter how much longer it would be and they went to the back. 2 minutes later, a woman came out and said, "You're going to kill me, we're out of pizzas." I was incredulous; I would have understood if we'd ordered late, but we ordered at 8 PM. We didn't make a scene, we just started asking how it was reasonable that if we'd ordered two hours earlier, you wouldn't have put the items aside or saved them for the order. The only answer he had was that you could order focaccia and a burger if you wanted. So we left. All I can say is that the organization of the place was terrible, the staff had no idea what they were doing, and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.
