21/06/2026: We turned up here late in the afternoon and managed to secure a camping spot for the night without pre booking. Elena at reception warmly greeted us and shared the information regarding our stay. This is a beautiful location for camping at an excellent price. We paid €20 with no electricity but access to showers and toilets. Extras are available if required. There aren’t many spots so it may be wise to book ahead or turn up early. We would definitely return.
01/06/2026: Our two-week holiday at this beautifully situated farm was simply wonderful. The food and wine were fantastic, the people were incredibly warm and welcoming, and the view was the most beautiful we've ever seen. Our apartment with its lovely terrace was also very comfortable. And our dog was warmly welcomed as well. We'll be back! 😊❤️

06/07/2026: The location is certainly well-suited to the site, right at the gates of the castle. Unfortunately, the service wasn't the fastest, with a wait for the first course lasting about an hour. They were probably too busy due to the coincidence with the historical reenactment of the Battle of Sarzana. The highlight, in my humble opinion, is definitely the cuisine. The dishes are beautifully presented and expertly cooked. The price is certainly reasonable for the dishes ordered. I recommend lunch or dinner on a less hectic day. So, 10 for the cuisine, 6 for the service.
05/07/2026: A fantastic location, very nice and helpful staff, good first and second courses, but the meat-based second courses were a little overcooked.

The property alone is worth the trip, and if you want to pamper yourself a little more, try their restaurant. Very interesting and varied wine list.

We only had lunch.
It would be worth coming just for the view from the dining room. But you come here to taste, and you'll be completely satisfied. The chef is extremely helpful in addressing some allergy issues.
Pleasantly spaced between the few tables.
Attentive service, standard wine list.
Parking.
Well worth a stop and a return visit.

23/06/2026: We (Family of 4) hadn't ordered in advance but were served almost immediately. We had to wait about 15 minutes for the delicious pizzas while enjoying a nice beer. Price/quality = super! Highly recommended!

01/05/2026: We went to eat at a nice place, the food was of poor quality, the service could be improved, the meat seemed decent, shame about the lady's hair that we found in the sausage, so we didn't even try that.
12/04/2026: Borgo della Colomba is a magical place...first and foremost, far from the chaos of the Riviera, yet still just a 10-minute drive from Sarzana or Fosdinovo. Cristina offers excellent hospitality and helpfulness. The room and private bathroom are comfortable and clean. Excellent breakfast. Recommended.

05/08/2025: Una piacevole riscoperta,dopo ventuno anni dalla prima volta che sono venuto a mangiare in questo ristorante (nel lontano 2004 insieme ai miei genitori)...che dire;ottimo era,e ottimo è rimasto.
24/07/2025: Un locale che rispecchia la tradizione.
Gli immancabili sgabei, leggeri e buonissimi, taglieri abbondanti.
Primi e secondi discreti.
Dolci buoni.
Cenare in piazzetta è molto piacevole.
Rapporto qualità/prezzo: giusto

28/06/2025: Die Pizza 🍕 war sehr lecker, die Bedienung freundlich und das Ambiente war sehr einladend. Ich würde dieses Restaurant für jeden Anlass empfehlen, außer man hat panische Angst vor an der Decke hängenden Töpfen.

21/11/2024: Visita per il sessantesimo compleanno di un amico di famiglia. Tavolo unico a quadrato che da sul centro di un ampio salone, struttura e arredi curata, elegante, un po' fredda (in effetti a marzo abbiamo avuto un po' freddino). Antipastini misti con sgabeini e poi pizza con diversi gusti. Vino e spumante, dolce del compleanno. L'antipasto era molto buono, la pizza onesta. Non posso giudicare il rapporto qualità-prezzo perché non abbiamo pagato.

15/06/2025: In occasione della visita al castello di Fosdinovo, siamo stati ieri a pranzo: siamo stati accolti come se fossimo famigliari, tavolo sotto il pergolato d'uva con veduta fino al mare. Veramente stupendo. Il menù veramente ottimo. Da consigliare assolutamente i ravioli patate e porri conditi con un sugo in bianco di funghi pioppini coltivati da loro. Un piatto mai assaggiato ma di una bontà unica. Così come il coniglio fritto. Prezzi più che onesti con il coperto e il caffè (in moka Bialetti) offerti.
I proprietari gentilissimi e cordiali; siamo stati veramente trattati come in famiglia.
Esperienza assolutamente da consigliare e da ripetere!

Ospitalità famigliare e distensiva.
Tanta simpatia. Piatti sobri ed accurati, buona la scelta. Siamo stati davvero coccolati! Torneremo sicuramente ad assaggiare i fritti e i primi!
