01/07/2025: We were there on Sunday for lunch, everything was delicious and very well served, honest price, excellent quality food!!!!

30/06/2025: Very familiar atmosphere. Really delicious food: cold cuts, cheeses, savory pies, fried gnocco (I don't remember what they call it) and homemade cake... everything superb. All for only €20, wine and coffee included! Very helpful, friendly and easy-going staff.

23/05/2025: What can I say. Truly special. We arrived outside of the scheduled time and were welcomed very well. The kindness of the chef/owner and the staff itself is unmatched. The food was very good. Thank you so much for the great experience.

22/04/2025: a great little place to stop for food, wine, coffee and to see the Ponti di Vara bridge. You'll see plenty of loaded down trucks and their drivers taking a break, and while not a fancy place, the food is fantastic and the staff welcoming and pleasant. Great wines and atmosphere whether you sit inside or out. Nice rack of sweets and some nice marble souvenirs. I would make it a point to have an appetite ready for this place after you've toured the mines, it will cap off a great day.

Personale gentile e professionale, cibo tutto eccezionale, dai primi piatti agli antipasti ai secondi piatti, in particolare modo il polpo croccante e il trancio di tonno. Prezzo 320 euro in quattro mangiando l'impossibile.....prezzo più che onesto. Si tenga conto che abbiamo bevuto due bottiglie di vino bianco ribolla gialla da 24 euro l'una. Locale consigliato sicuramente.

17/06/2025: Ottimo in tutti i punti vista mangiare buonissimo e anche camerieri davvero bravi ottima anche la accoglienza a fatto si che ogni passaggio dei pasti fosse più buono 😍 la trippa squisita e anche il lardo con la prugna. Come antipasto e veramente ottimo il vino e buonissimo.

21/06/2025: In Piazza Alberica in Carrara, we discovered an osteria that offers an excellent combination of seafood and land flavors. We started with a delicious appetizer of a trio of cod and a platter of cold cuts and cheeses, which immediately conquered our palate. Among the first courses, the tordelli alla carrarina were exceptional, a true hymn to local tradition. The desserts, all strictly homemade, were a perfect conclusion. The cheesecake with Nutella cream was a real ecstasy for the taste, an indescribable goodness, and even the tiramisu fully met expectations. The bill was fully within normal limits, with a cost of 100 euros for two people, including appetizers, first courses, second courses and a bottle of white wine coming directly from the Carrara area. The service was quick and efficient, leaving us fully satisfied and, let's face it, also a little full of so much goodness! An experience to repeat without hesitation.

13/07/2025: It was our first time at this restaurant. We ordered the menu in the dark and were amazed. The cuisine was creative and substantial, the wine excellent, and the staff courteous. We'll definitely be back!

05/06/2025: In the Marina di Carrara area I have not yet found a restaurant where you can eat better fish... super friendly staff, wide selection of wines, fair price. Only flaw: central location, if it had a sea view it would be the best.

27/05/2025: We had dinner here last night and we had a great time. The place is nice, clean and well decorated. The service was kind and fast. We chose two appetizers (squid on pappa al pomodoro and tuna tartare) and two second courses (fried fish and tuna tataki). The dishes were well presented and had balanced flavors. To finish, a delicious carrarina cake. We liked everything and we will return, maybe to try the first courses.

03/07/2025: I was extremely satisfied with having chosen to celebrate my birthday at Porfirio: two rooms reserved only for my guests, a rich buffet set up, two different first courses and savory crepes made on the spot... all accompanied by a wide choice of cocktails, from the most classic to the most particular and innovative! An even better experience thanks to the karaoke that kept us entertained all evening!! I was so satisfied with the experience that now for aperitifs and after-dinner drinks I only go to Porfirio where the two bartenders Luca and Tommaso always manage to amaze me with new and particular cocktails!

30/06/2025: A truly beautiful experience in a clean and well-kept wine shop. The dishes are traditional local dishes, but refined. All are well cooked and served with courtesy towards the customer. The price is in line with what is offered and I consider it appropriate. The choice of wines is naturally wide and also suitable for enthusiasts. There is the possibility of choosing the tasting of some wines also by the glass. We had the opportunity to return and we were pleasantly satisfied with the second experience too. I recommend booking because the place is medium-small in size.
