Ristorante Bistrot La Grande Bellezza

01/01/2026: This is our first time at the "La Grande Bellezza" restaurant: the place doesn't have many seats, is clean, and well-kept.
Since the owner is Roman, they offer several traditional Roman dishes. We opted for a selection of three seafood appetizers and the crispy octopus with vegetables. Our friends, however, had spaghetti with butter, anchovies, and mullet bottarga, but they said it was very salty. I tried it too, and indeed it was.
The service is professional and friendly. Prices are average.
26/12/2025: An excellent dining experience in true Roman style and beyond. I must say I tried many of their dishes, both traditional Roman and seafood, and everything was excellent. My only complaint was that the artichoke appetizer wasn't the classic Alla Giudia, but rather stewed artichokes (as the owner announced), but they were still tasty. The small location is beautiful and the service excellent. I highly recommend it, especially for lovers of Roman cuisine.

03/01/2026: Beautiful, well-decorated place, with lots of wine corks for decoration (e.g., a Christmas tree, Christmas-themed signs). The waitress was friendly and helpful, the food was excellent, with superb vegetables. The house wine was excellent. We'll be back!

The place is very welcoming and quaint, and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable.
The menu features a wide selection of meats, steaks, tartare, appetizers, and burgers, with options for even the littlest ones.
Excellent value for money.
Highly recommend.

26/07/2025: I chose this place based on photos of the dishes and reviews, and I can confirm my positive impression. The staff were extremely friendly, the service was fast and attentive, the dishes were truly delicious, original, and the ingredients were top-notch. I was very satisfied. The squid ink ravioli del plin filled with fish, with a delicate sauce and crispy cuttlefish, and the sea asparagus and saffron tempura were truly delicious. Also not to be missed was the crispy octopus tentacle on basil mashed potatoes and beetroot chips. The desserts, which were homemade, were also quite good.

The pizza was delicious, and we particularly loved the volcano calzone. The desserts were also excellent! The waitress was very friendly, kind, and knowledgeable. Thank you. We'll definitely be back for more pizza and to try the meat because we saw some really nice steaks. 😍😍😍😋😋😋

12/12/2025: In addition to the vending machine with a wide variety of excellent products, including poke and a variety of desserts, Paola now also makes sushi to order. What more can I say? An explosion of incredible flavors, nothing like an all-you-can-eat restaurant, and of course, top-quality ingredients. Highly recommended.

20/09/2025: I think it is the best bakery in Carrara, as well as being historic, it bakes focaccia, bread, traditional focaccia in a wonderful way, the service staff behind the counter are very kind and I would add that in Carrara there are other excellent bakeries as per tradition, but Forno Dazzi is the most...... Delicious pizzas. We had two white pan pizzas, one with potatoes and one with perfectly crunchy peppers, and a soft focaccia/bread.
The desserts were delicious just looking at them.
She also gave us two little desserts. Very nice.
We'll be back! Delicious!

08/09/2025: My group and I spent the August bank holiday at the restaurant and had a great time. They served us a set menu from appetizers to dessert. The afternoon included music and karaoke. We had fun and spent a wonderful day among rabbits, horses, and other little animals at the edge of the woods. I recommend it.
