12/11/2023: I expected more, good quality of meat but little choice on the menu, I had seen many good things from the photos (cheeses, Angus, wide choice of wines, I expected there to be Syrah from the Mordini estate) which were not present on the menu. There were no oil or salt on the table, I would have put a little more on the meat. The service was cold, the chosen wine was opened without letting us taste it.
26/09/2023: Purely meat restaurant in the center of Barga, a small village in Garfagnana.
Excellent tartare with an intense flavour, decent hamburger, perhaps the lard covered the taste of the hamburger meat a little too much.
Try again with other types of meat

10/12/2023: Entro e chiedo un panino considerata l'insegna fuori che riporta tra gli altri "Panini a piacere", la ragazza mi dice frettolosamente e senza neanche guardarmi di sentire il ragazzo in fondo al locale che sta affettando. Neanche il tempo di girarmi e chiedere che questo dal fondo del locale sente e mi dice " No panini un se ne fanno!".
Me ne esco sbigottito per la scortesia e l bella ospitalità ricevuta.
Bruttissimo biglietto da visita per la splendida Barga
16/09/2023: Osteria tipica del posto. Prodotti locali speciali: gusto deciso, sapore di casa.
Ho trovato personale simpatico e cordiale. Se venite all'Oresteria da Ariosto passerete una giornata che vi ricorderete per tutta la vita.

05/03/2024: Cold environment. We ordered two cheeseburgers for lunch which arrived after a long time with burnt bread and ingredients not requested and otherwise of poor quality. Disproportionate price for what we ate. Not recommended

24/10/2023: Been here a few times a long time ago, just not as good this time. No more patio dining outside, portions smaller and more than one family member was served almost cold on multiple dishes both first and second courses.
18/08/2023: Cibo ottimo e veramente tanta tanta simpatia da parte di tutto il personale e del proprietario.
Peccato averlo scoperto solo l’ultima sera della vacanza, altrimenti ci sarei tornato.
Ottimi piatti tipici toscani e prezzi veramente bassi.
Bravi, così si conquistano i clienti.

Ritorneremo sicuramente a giugno con i nostri amici belgi .vale la pena anche se per arrivarci si devono percorrere circa 500 metri a piedi
18/11/2023: Qui si mangia benissimo , i piatti ordinati erano tutti buoni ,il personale molto disponibile e accogliente . Il piatta secondo me più buono è stato il riso con buccia di limone bruciato

13/01/2024: We had an exceptionally good time cooking with Rita. Very accommodating to our group with we appreciated very much. This is a must do activity if you are going to the Tuscany area. Many laughs, good food and wine shared. Thanks again from Norm & Donna
23/10/2023: What a wonderful evening! The cooking was so much fun...and delicious. We made 3 types of pastas with various ragus. The spinach and cheese raviolis had s delicious sage butter sauce. We also made a tiramisu which was amazing. Thank you, Rita.
