30/07/2025: A terrible evening (unfortunately, in almost every way). Three friends and I booked dinner at this restaurant in Cecina, known for its renowned pinsa al metro. Before moving on to the many negatives, I can confirm that the product is high-quality, digestible, and very good. However... the "buts" are too many, too serious, and they'll make me never return. First, when booking, I made sure to ask if there was air conditioning, and to my great disappointment, I found the place rather stuffy (light air conditioning, almost nonexistent). That said, they seat us, and the waitress shows up to take our order only 15 minutes later (imagine 15 minutes in 35°C weather without even a glass of water). We order a total of 3.5 meters of pinsa, of which 1 meter is reserved exclusively for one of the lactose-intolerant diners. I make sure to ask that he arrive at the same time (or before) the first pizzas, as otherwise he wouldn't have been able to "taste" a slice of ours. Of course, his pizza arrives, not only 45 minutes after the others, but one side of it has mozzarella. That should be enough, right? And instead, the beer (14 euros for Menabrea) is presented in a very sad carafe and clearly and heavily watered down: undrinkable. Finally, when it was time for coffee, the waitress decided to bring not 4 (as requested), but only 1. The other 3 arrived only after another 10 minutes. Overall result: 2 hours of dinner in unbearably hot weather 1 diner hungry, or almost 30 euros per person, without even the courtesy of removing the portion of pizza the lactose-intolerant customer hadn't touched. Never, never, never again (despite the pinsa, alas, excellent).

13/07/2025: Serata terribile (purtroppo, sotto tutti i punti di vista o quasi) Io ed altri tre amici prenotiamo per cena in questo locale di Cecina noto per la sua rinomata pinsa al metro. Prima di passare alle molteplici note dolenti, confermo che il prodotto sia di alta qualità, digeribile e molto buono. Però... i però sono troppi, troppo gravi e mi spingono a non tornarvi più. In primo luogo, al momento della prenotazione mi sono premurato di chiedere se vi fosse l'aria condizionata e, con mia somma delusione, ho trovato un locale piuttosto afoso (aria condizionata leggera quasi inesistente). Ciò detto, ci fanno accomodare e la cameriera si presenta a prendere l'ordine solo dopo 15' (immaginate 15' con 35° senza nemmeno un bicchiere d'acqua) Ordiniamo, complessivamente 3 mt e mezzo di pinsa, di cui 1 destinato esclusivamente ad uno solo dei commensali intollerante al lattosio, alché mi premuro di chiedere che quest'ultimo giunga contemporaneamente (ovvero antecedentemente) alle prime pizze in uscita, in quanto, in difetto, egli non avrebbe potuto 'assaggiare' una fetta delle nostre. Ovviamente, la sua pizza giunge, non solo dopo 45' dall'arrivo delle altre, ma una parte della stessa presenta della mozzarella. Basterebbe questo, no? E, invece, la birra (14 euro di menabrea) viene presentata in una tristissima caraffa e palesemente e pesantemente annacquata: imbevibile. Infine, al momento del caffè, la cameriera decide apoditticamente di portarne non già 4 (come richiesto), bensì solo 1. Gli altri 3 arriveranno solo dopo ulteriori 10'. Risultato complessivo: 2 ore di cena con un'afa insopportabile 1 commensale digiuno o quasi 30 euro a persona senza nemmeno la cortesia di espungere la parte di pizza nemmeno toccata dal cliente intollerante al lattosio. Mai, mai, mai più (nonostante la pinsa, ahimè, eccellente)

12/10/2025: One of the best pizzas by the slice in Cecina. It's not exactly outstanding, but it's at least decent compared to the others. Good value. The only downside is that it only opens in the afternoon from 4:00 PM. Those who are hungry should get there first.

03/07/2025: Highly recommended! Welcoming place, a stone's throw from the center. Helpful and competent staff. Exceptional pinsa and tonda romana, light and with high quality raw materials. An excellent dinner, definitely worth repeating!

11/10/2025: Beautiful location right on the beach with a lovely terrace and a modern dining room. Everything was very clean, and the staff was friendly. One of the few restaurants still open on the beach in October.

20/09/2025: I wish we'd read the reviews beforehand. This was by far the worst restaurant experience of our lives. We had the penne with mushrooms and the spaghetti carbonara. Both dishes arrived so incredibly quickly that we were skeptical. What can I say?! The carbonara was bland pasta with oil and scrambled eggs. And my penne with mushrooms, which wasn't even described further on the menu, came in an oil-based tomato sauce. All in all, my meal reminded me a lot of kindergarten food. The mushrooms were wobbly and unappealing, and the entire dish was unseasoned. We wish we'd taken pictures, because no one would believe us. At least the water, the Coke, and the house red wine were very cold. 🥶🥹😉

22/01/2026: Large, quiet hotel next to a green park. Ample parking, a bar serving snacks, a restaurant, an elevator, a well-stocked breakfast room with a TV, and a well-sized double room with a TV and air conditioning, a large bathroom, and a competitive price.

27/11/2025: An hour and a half wait for two pizzas. Only the fried food and the Coke arrived. We got up to smoke, tired of waiting. We went back and they cleared our table. When we mentioned it to the cashier, they didn't even apologize and were already ready with the bill: €20 for two fried foods and a Coke. To err is human, and to acknowledge it is human. What a shame...

30/08/2025: The pizza itself was good, but unfortunately the service was very disappointing. We had to wait around 50 minutes for our pizzas, and one of them was even served together with the starter, so by the time it was eaten, it was already cold. When the staff asked how the service was, I politely explained the long wait and the issue with the timing of the dishes. Instead of apologizing or showing understanding, the family running the place told me to “chill out” and dismissed my feedback. I wasn’t asking for a discount or making a scene; I simply answered honestly when asked. I found their attitude extremely rude and unprofessional.

17/12/2025: A very nice bar, pastry shop, and café. Today I had a savory breakfast, but they also have a nice selection of delicious sweet treats. The place was quite busy, the staff was friendly, and the prices were reasonable for what they offer.

08/10/2025: Highly recommended! We had spaghetti carbonara, beef steak, and two chicken dishes with fries, as well as tiramisu and crème brûlée. Excellent value for money, very friendly staff, and a cozy atmosphere.

27/06/2025: A cena com mio marito premetto che la pizza è molto buona e gli ingredienti sono ottimi e di qualità.Ci sono 2 impasti uno più croccante e uno verace...chiedo se gentilmente si può avere la vegetariana con l'impasto verace mentre nel menu'la vegetariana era contemplata solo con l'impasto più croccante. Richiesta semplicissima....la cameriera immediatamente mi da un no secco...dicendomi che non si può il locale è troppo pieno(non capisco cosa c'entra) per giunta non era vero nulla il locale aveva un sacco di tavoli vuoti . Quindi niente vegetariana verace.Mi chiedo e mi piacerebbe avere una risposta: che differenza fa mettere le verdure su un impasto invece che su un altro? Mi hanno sempre insegnato che il cliente se non fa richieste assurde è un piacere accontentarlo.
