26/07/2025: A week's vacation in a stunning land, a paradise island, memories of a couple of summers from my childhood that mingle and create new ones now that I've brought my girls and husband here. At the Hotel Ristorante Casanova, we found an exceptional family, owners with extraordinary hospitality and friendliness, cleanliness, excellent cuisine, and laughter always come first. They are available to any of their guests. I return and we go home enriched, certainly for the places we saw, but even more for having found such a special family. 17/07/2025: Cena ottima, in ambiente informale ma curato. Consiglio in particolare gli straccetti di totano su base di ceci e i ravioli ripieni di burrata con gamberi. Servizio simpatico, informale, con tempi corretti per gustare tutto senza fretta. Ci si sente a proprio agio, in una terrazza circondata dal verde. Buoni e originali I dessert Torneremo

18/08/2025: I'd like to give less than one star, but unfortunately it's not possible: a terrible experience. We had ordered pizzas for 7:30 PM, but at 8:15 PM, when nothing arrived, we asked for an explanation. The pizza chef's response was to throw our order in the trash, while the barista rudely told us to stop complaining.

20/08/2025: I had lunch today because I was invited by friends, even though I was a little skeptical after seeing the reviews, especially from Italians. But if you overlook some things that can ultimately be overlooked, I'll conclude by saying that I ate and drank very well, at excellent prices, in a very beautiful location right on the beach. For example: I ordered two bottles of wine that I particularly love from that winery and they were brought to me already opened, but at a price I've never seen in other restaurants... anyway, the food was truly excellent, the service was incredibly fast, and so overall, an absolutely positive review from every point of view!!! The chef is a lady, the owner, who is 84 years old!!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

03/08/2025: Great place in weekend when they offer fish. In the weekdays was only spaghetti. Good taste, perfect view, nice staff. Short time to wait for food. Open only 12.30-14.30

04/10/2024: Small, slightly out of the way restaurant in Capoliveri with surprisingly good food. Had tuna and lasagna. Both very good, with tiramisu and cream catalana. Attentive, friendly service.

09/08/2025: Locale a inizio centro di Capoliveri (lasciate auto nel parcheggio a pagamento sotto di Capoliveri e salite la grande scalinata). Personale gentile e attento. Qualità prezzo medio buona. Presi 3 antipasti in 6 e un piatto ciascuno più una bottiglia di vino locale e speso 33 euro a testa. Risotto di mare e tartare di tonno ottime. Grigliata di pesce un po scarsa per quantità.

03/08/2025: Ci siam imbatutti in questo locale in un vicolo (nascosto). Locale accogliente, personale gentile e cibo squisito. Posso solo consigliarlo!

17/08/2025: So... The best first course: the seafood risotto was delicious! The staff was kind but a little stressed (Sunday noon, of course!) And of course, the place: amazing 😍 But the mussels marinara lacked flavor and didn't give me the sense that they were truly fresh. Then the limoncello tiramisu wasn't bad, but I missed the flavors (especially the lemon) and, as they say, tiramisu. It was more like a foam, not bad, but not satisfying :/ So 3 stars because the dishes are everything to me!

26/08/2025: We're still sitting at the table. We stopped by chance to get two pizzas, but seeing all their typical fish dishes pass by, we convinced ourselves it was the best choice for us. We had the lobster paccheri, which were truly generous and surprisingly flavorful. We couldn't help but try the fried fish and their signature swordfish Livorno-style, with a delicate yet impactful flavor. Very courteous and professional service. Kudos to all the dining room staff and to the chef who is behind all this research into the product, combined with the craftsmanship and passion for his work. Excellent culinary experience... I'd give it more stars if I could. Kudos to everyone, keep up the good work.

05/06/2025: Beautiful campsite! Friendly and helpful staff! We stayed in a luxury lodge tent, it is equipped with every comfort with a stove and private bathroom! We will definitely be back!

04/06/2025: We stayed at this campsite for 10 days in May, when the weather was very changeable. Fortunately, the campsite and mobile home we selected were an excellent choice even on cloudy and rainy days. The cottage was suitable for five people with a kitchen, an internal table, two rooms and two bathrooms. The terrace had a table with seven chairs, two deck chairs and a magnificent view of Capoliveri and the sea. Everything was very clean and well stocked, there are tea towels, tablecloths, bath mats, things that I have never found in other campsites. The staff was always very courteous, from the manager, to the receptionist, to the girl at the bar and also to the technicians who go around the campsite all day to fix any problems that may be found in the accommodations. The location is perfect, a few minutes from Capoliveri, about twenty minutes from Portoferraio and suitable for visiting all the beaches in the south of the island. The beach is very large and well stocked with bars, restaurants and the possibility of renting canoes etc. The campsite also has a swimming pool that we didn't use due to the weather, a small children's area with balls and various games, and shared bathrooms are very clean. I will gladly return.

25/08/2025: We stumbled upon this little restaurant in the historic center of Capoliveri on Saturday evening, and my boyfriend and I were pleasantly surprised, from the appetizer to the gnocchi with clams. We highly recommend it!
