08/11/2024: Osteria in the center of Capoliveri offering good seafood cuisine. We had dinner here at the end of August. Fresh fish too and tasty dishes, shame about the spaghetti with clams which were excessively salty. Good value for money. The staff is not very kind and often tends to be hasty and rush to seat the next shift.

18/10/2024: Sono stato con la mia compagna a cena una sera di agosto. Abbiamo ordinato direttamente al titolare 2 primi, una frittura da dividere e una bottiglia di vino. All’arrivo dei primi uno dei due era sbagliato, nonostante sulla comanda fosse scritto corretto. Il cameriere si è scusato e mi ha rifatto il piatto da capo. La mia compagna ha mangiato il primo da sola. Per di più , nel momento in cui è mi arrivato il primo é arrivata anche la frittura, costringendomi a mangiare la frittura fredda e nuovamente da solo. Al momento del pagamento, ci aspettavamo uno sconto o quantomeno delle scuse dal titolare in quanto suo errore, che non sono arrivate. Solo uno scontrino bello salato. NB: nota di merito al cameriere di Schio, gentile, simpatico e educato

03/10/2024: Zunächst mal: der Service war wirklich liebenswert und die Brothäppchen zwischendurch waren auch nett. Insgesamt fanden wir die Komposition der Haupt- Speisen ( Vitello Tonnato, Risotto und Wildschwein) rein geschmacklich aber nicht so überzeugend wie erhofft, auch die Präsentation war z.T. nicht wirklich ansprechend. Man hatte immernoch das Gefühl es selbst besser zu können- das sollte in einem Restaurant mit Michelin- Stern nicht der Fall sein. Der Wein war aber extrem lecker.

15/10/2024: Food great! Friendly and helpful staff, map also in German. You can make pizza and watch it bake. Everything is freshly prepared. Also very child-friendly and the seat is comfortable. The view would also be great on brighter evenings. Here you could see the sea glittering in the dark.

04/10/2024: Small, slightly out of the way restaurant in Capoliveri with surprisingly good food. Had tuna and lasagna. Both very good, with tiramisu and cream catalana. Attentive, friendly service.

E anche in questo breve weekend non potevamo non cenare in questo meraviglioso posto sul mare.....eccellente l ospitalità di Antonella e Roberto , eccellente la cucina curata dallo chef Beppe Lovallo , le schiaccine e le pizze di Renato....complimenti all educazione e alla gentilezza di tutto lo Staff.....vi ho lasciato il mio cuore

07/01/2025: Group of 16 people stayed 3 nights last year 2024. We were well received, all the staff very helpful and nice. Clean, well heated rooms. Excellent breakfasts, good food. Excellent New Year's Eve dinner. I recommend it.

13/05/2025: restaurant located inside the Le Calanchiole campsite...very good food, both fish and pizza (I tried the Caramenlla and it was delicious) only flaw..the service..it was very fast but unfortunately they had forgotten a first course (which obviously arrived when the others had already finished) and an appetizer arrived after the pizza -...shame, but they were kind anyway and apologized for what happened...I don't give 5 stars for that...

18/09/2024: Este lugar es una hermosa costa con excelente comida que se siente cocinado en casa. Spaghetti alla boloñesa que sabía exactamente como mis abuelas. Excelentes calamares ligeramente fritos. Solo abierto para el almuerzo.

09/08/2024: A few days before the trip, rereading some reviews, we left discouraged because they were negative BUT... Due premise we booked with booking through hotiday (which is not very clear if you don't read and re-read the details). We arrive at the property and are welcomed with the appropriate explanations, the room is not in the main structure but always inside the property, separate parking €10 per day (recommended because outside places are few and always occupied due to the nearby beach access). The "HOTIDAY" rooms are on the 3rd FLOOR of this structure without a lift, which for us means a few steps to climb but not adequate for a 4-star hotel since it is a fundamental requirement, like the wi-fi absent in the rooms but in the end for us It went well so we were on holiday and two flights of stairs didn't put us off. The well-kept and clean room of about 20m2 with a very comfortable terrace (in the end it fits). The temperature in the room was not very suitable (nightmare of the review read, the air conditioning does not work) but the director of the structure immediately took action to solve the problem since problems can happen but the important thing is that they are addressed and resolved as in this case within a few hours the director personally went to the rooms several times to make sure that everything was in order. The room was very clean and tidy, even when the manager had zero personal needs and we were able to agree with the cleaning ladies when to clean the room at a time different from the pre-established one. We always read in the reviews that the breakfast was not worthy of being served and I must also dispel this aspect, it is served with 3 buffet tables full of sweet and savory dishes, the dinner buffet is also notable and varies from evening to evening. That being said, a very respectable four-star hotel which is completed with the "club card" package at a cost of €8 per person for each day of stay, which gives access to the swimming pool, umbrella on the beach at the partner lido and kids' club (the only note on the beach: when booking with hotiday the beach is not the one shown in the photo).

02/05/2025: We stayed here for the long weekend of April 25th, three of us in an economy bungalow. As a campsite I must say that it is very beautiful, even if being on a hill it is an up and down walk for everything. When they accompanied us to the bungalow at check-in they told us that we could leave the car there to unload and that we would then have to take it to the car park. Too bad that in the end people always left their cars parked at the tailpipe. In any case, a nice campsite. The same cannot be said for the accommodation. The house is really small and dated. Three of us couldn't move and there wasn't even space for luggage, I can't imagine there were 4 of us (maximum capacity). The electrical sockets don't work well and as there is no air conditioning it will be very hot in the summer. Non-existent soundproofing. The kitchen is old but quite spacious and is located in an outside cabin. The bathroom however was nice. For the period the prices are good. The location of the campsite is strategic for easily getting around the island.

26/04/2025: Wonderful campsite. We stayed for 5 days at the end of April with 2 children and we were all very enthusiastic and already wanting to go back. All the bungalows (of various types and comforts) are arranged on the side of a tree-lined hill with direct access to the sea. Waking up among the pine trees with the sound of the waves and the sea at the bottom was an experience of total relaxation (better to take the bungalows in the pine forest on the sea side rather than the pool side for the view). We stayed in the Luxury Lodge tent (great value for money in April for a family!), equipped with all the comforts, the spaces are very well organized and being out of season it was pleasant to be able to turn on the heating and eat sheltered from the wind in the evening, while for breakfast and lunch we enjoyed the terrace in front of the tent with a beautiful sea view among the trees. Perfect cleanliness, comfortable mattresses, everything needed for cooking, in good condition, nothing was missing. I had read comments about having to walk a lot, but at most it's 5 minutes, all shaded, not at all heavy (Maybe with a stroller it's heavier). And being at the top of the hill offers a beautiful view. The beach is beautiful, there are also many others nearby to discover. Strategic island location. I can't comment on entertainment, swimming pools and restaurant because we didn't use them. It was a very "simple" stay in the sense that we were not looking for a campsite to live in all day but a pleasant base to then tour the island during the day. Last but not least, very friendly and helpful staff. We can't wait to go back. (Stay at the end of April with children).
