11/06/2026: The people and the service are wonderful as in all Tuscany, the place has old charm which is very much appreciated, BUT there is awful music EVERY NIGHT from a trash bar below, thus as a guest you’re doomed to suffer that; NOT really adapted for small children, and the rooms are tiny but very clean and well maintained. HonestlY, The cost is higher than it should be, all together. If I was an owner or investor, the first thing that I would do is to start a legal procedure against that ‘’Gabibo-level of entertainment” bar, as any guest who is looking for a quiet experience will not be very happy about not being to open windows before midnight. Also quite unpleasant are the huuge reflectors from the beach directed towards the entire resort ALL NIGHT shooting in your eyes while trying to enjoy the balcony view at night. Sorry for that, as these are external factors, but again hotel should be in the first line to establish peace and quiet around it, and also avoid the light and sound pollution of such a wonderful natural place, that completely destroys the romantic moment of the evening. Legal parameters cover environmental protection (nature and people), public peace and order, and respect to the historical and cultural values that Isola D’Elba should maintain. Again, all the praises to the employees 🙏 I hope these places will get the highest protection, as places of exceptional natural beauty.

01/06/2026: The stay was very pleasant and enjoyable. There are various options; I chose half-board (with a different menu every evening). The beach can be reached via steps or steep paths. The staff was very friendly.

08/08/2026: We've been coming here for years now and it's a place I love because it feels like home.

06/08/2026: Aperitif. Levi would say, "If this is a Negroni." Campari would say... I'd rather not tell him. 10 ice cubes counted: gin, vermouth, and bitters? 2-3 tablespoons? I also noticed the other spritzes on other tables. Same situation as my Negroni, so either they're trying to cut corners, or they just make them like that. The location is worth it, the service is beyond reproach. Cost for 3 people: €16 for 1 Negroni (the one above), 1 Coke, 1 Crodino, chips, tarallini, 3 slices of focaccia. Would I return? Yes, for the location, the service, and maybe with bottled drinks.

07/09/2025: We had a great time. I don't write many reviews, but we ate well. Two fully customizable bowls for €12 each. Just what we needed after a long day of traveling.

08/05/2026: €3 cover charge per person for a glass of wine and a shared platter!!!! The bulk wine is from Tuscany, not Elba. No way.

17/08/2026: I'll just say it's the worst pizza I've ever eaten. I had the seafood, it was all rubbery and the mussels were so burnt they crumbled on the pizza... oh well.

17/08/2026: A classic tourist trap, full of show and little substance. The food is mediocre, and you pay for the location. Kudos to the service, however; the staff were very kind and helpful.
