22/02/2026: First outing on a Saturday in late February, almost spring-like. About thirty kilometers from Florence, along quiet roads and relaxing countryside, this long-established trattoria maintains its standard of traditional Tuscan cuisine with a few rather pleasant "reinterpretations." The portions are generous, but mezze are also available, which were perfect for us. Today: Pici alla nana (duck ragù), Gnocchi with black cabbage pesto and bardic cio (delicious), Scamerita stew in red wine with onion and aromatic herbs, Chicken tagliata with honeyed chestnuts on a leek cream (rather pleasant), a few fries, and a slice of delicately flavored apple pie. Two glasses of Prosecco, mineral water, bread, and coffee. No-frills table, brisk service, sometimes noisy when crowded, regulars, families, a few foreigners, but not only attracted by word of mouth or good reviews. Fair prices (a Florentine steak, for example, is priced at €45/kg, compared to a low of €60 and a high of €140 in nearby Florence). A stable, go-to place, and for us, a place with easy digestion, which is no small feat. See you next time.

08/03/2026: They sat us down in front of the grocery store. Virtually every customer walked over us at the table. Restaurant prices, but zero service! Nothing special about the food; the rosticciana was very good, but everything else was bland and flavorless! The place was noisy and overly crowded... OK, it's a grocery store, but then I want to pay grocery store prices, not restaurant prices. A lower price means accepting the confusion and crowds.

07/03/2026: We went for lunch. Everyone was very kind. My husband had a first course, I had a second course, and then dessert. Truly delicious! Highly recommended!!

21/01/2026: An excellent fish appetizer....really good and the pizza is fabulous....huge, well-seasoned, tasty, an excellent pizza chef....and I would say that the service is also well-kept...kind, helpful...well done

14/12/2025: Truly a beautiful place, the food was supremely good, the dishes were beautiful and delicious, especially (we had the fish), and the desserts were also delicious! Highly recommended! I'll definitely be back.

13/10/2025: Unfortunately, they gave us a disabled room without notifying us, an unforgivable mistake. I didn't ask for a room change since it was only one night. I should point out that it wasn't the room that didn't meet my expectations, but the bathroom. However, I greatly appreciated the welcome and breakfast, as well as the location. I also greatly appreciate your kind, polite, and constructive response. Thank you.

12/10/2025: This hotel was very perfectly Tuscany hills. When you arrived, driving up the road to see this place perched on top, it’s breathtaking. The property is very well taken care of, the staff are nice, welcoming and friendly. The breakfast options are good, and the dinning room is next level, looking out over the hills. Unfortunately we missed the pool weather, but we did sit out next to the pool and truly enjoyed the relaxing nature. The room was nice, basic but everything you need. We chose the lowest tier room, because we planned going out every day and not spending much time in, and it was perfect. If we did choose to stay we would have considered the rooms with jacuzzi tubs. We did dinner one night and really enjoyed our meal and the staff was very nice and helpful. The location is great, 40 minutes from Florence and very drivable to the locations we wanted to visits. During this trip we went to Pisa, San Gimignano, Civita di Bagnoregio, Siena and more. Great resort, highly recommend!

15/12/2025: Welcoming restaurant, very friendly staff. We ordered a Tuscan miato appetizer for 5 and the pizzas, which were generously sized and had plenty of toppings. I'll be back to try the food as well.
