01/01/2025: Last night I ordered from Casa della Bistecca via a delivery app, and it was a really positive experience. The food was excellent, but there are two aspects that deserve special mention. First of all, the pappardelle al ragù that I chose was delicious. In addition to the delicious flavor, I was pleasantly surprised by the generosity of the portion, a detail that does not go unnoticed and which makes the experience even more satisfying. Secondly, I really appreciated the attention to packaging. The containers used for food were not the usual plastic ones, but made of pressed paper/cardboard, designed for food use. This choice is not only more sustainable, but also seems to maintain the quality of the food optimally during transport. A truly impeccable service from all points of view. I hope they continue on this path. I highly recommend it!

01/01/2025: My boyfriend and I booked with TheFork for the evening of December 31st. We had a great time: the staff was really friendly, helpful and professional. We were pampered right away and highly recommend it. Very good food, my tartare was delicious! Score 10 and praise!

07/01/2025: The beauty of this tavern is the variety of dishes. Different side dishes compared to the area and an impressive variety of meat. Unfortunately, not eating red meat, we opted for rabbit and cockerel, both too dry, especially the rabbit. The side dishes/second courses are very tasty. We had fried porcini mushrooms and fried sage, both of which I have never eaten fried. The first ones are good but after a while they get boring, I imagine due to the difference in consistency. Sage, I loved it. Finally, a portion of roast potatoes, nothing special. They use a very good local oil. We appreciated it so much. The prices are not typical of a tavern, a little high. Pleasant service. An extremely nice and capable lady served us. The atmosphere is rustic but not too much. In my opinion it would be better to remove the neon lights and use warmer lights. Review made after 3 months: I stayed at this restaurant again because I wanted to give it a second chance. I liked it even more. Now the porcini mushrooms are in season, I found them perfect. They were delicious, very fresh. In fact, I then had a pumpkin soup with porcini mushrooms, simple as I like it, tasty and excellent. Courgette flan with parmesan fondue, delicate and very good. Good desserts. The chocolate cake with pears was very good, but you couldn't taste the rum and the crème anglaise needs improvement. Pistachio cream good, but really too sweet, it tastes a lot like white chocolate. I will go back again and again and again 😉

19/12/2024: Qui ci si sente sempre a casa, le chiacchere e la compagnia la fanno da padrone. Antipasto di crostini toscani e qualche fetta di prosciutto, in attesa dell bistecca! Contorno con porcini alla griglia e fritti, ed un'ottima bottiglia di morellino.

25/12/2024: Today was a disaster! Staying at the table for more than 4 hours for a fixed and simple menu was tiring, I couldn't do it anymore. There was no organisation, for me the problem was in the kitchen. The waiters were there but they were walking around empty. And that's it! The restaurant was full. Maybe on a "normal" day it would have been something else...maybe!

24/08/2024: Oven with bar, one Saturday morning we wanted to have breakfast with the family, the queue for the oven reached outside, we entered and there was a queue for the bar because there was only one shop assistant to serve both stations. We wait 15 minutes and we still have at least 5 people ahead. Not having an hour to have breakfast we decided to leave, the cashier probably got offended and treated us badly in front of everyone, asking us in a rude tone if we had noticed that she was alone and that it was the owner's fault that she was alone. I told her that it seemed absurd to me and as we went out we could hear her continuing to grumble at the customers who remained inside. Never have I encountered such rudeness and rudeness in a public employee. We won't be back and we don't recommend it to anyone.

14/12/2024: I only write reviews when I feel particularly good about a place and I have to say that we had a wonderful time here. Top meat sauce, top pici with garlic. We eat Tuscan food the way we Tuscans like it. Friendliness, Tuscanness, honest prices, portions for foodies like me 😀. Super recommended!

04/12/2024: Here we eat "Ciccia" very well and lots of it 😉. It's certainly not a place for vegetarians, wherever you sit the smell of grilled fat comes in and out💪. The environment is a bit cramped and the service isn't exactly the best. Owners should, in my opinion, keep problems at home and not in public. Hearing shouting from the kitchen is not nice and, in my opinion, ruins business. But in front of a beautiful and succulent Florentine steak cooked to perfection I forgave there 😉

15/11/2024: A risotto with prawns, leeks and porcini mushrooms worthy of the best restaurants... and yet I was only on my lunch break. Accurate service... they supplied me with hot flat bread even for the last forkful of risotto. Well done

04/01/2024: Lovely meal with my wife. Restaurant was very busy so we were seated inside instead of on the balcony. Tip is to book early to get a good table as there is a nice view. We ordered the house red wine 7/10 and the Florentino steak 8/10. Would go back I'd we are ever nearby again.
