01/07/2026: We (just two of us) did a wine tasting at Cantina Cellar and it was outstanding. We are moderately knowledgeable about wines and the wine making process so this was perfect for us. Claudio shared a ton of information about local wines, their operation and then answered a bunch of questions about the area. We then sampled 7 wines. I highly recommend.

01/06/2026: The Baccaleria is a special place. We always return when we're in the area. It's a simple place, but with meticulous attention to detail. The fish is delicious and plentiful, and the prices are more than fair for the amount and quality of the food. The octopus sandwich is especially recommended. The host has a genuine sense of humor that's charming but never intrusive. It's one of those few places left that stands out because it doesn't need any frills. Highly recommended if you're in the area.

17/07/2026: While traveling for work, we stopped for lunch at the recommendation of colleagues. It was a pleasant discovery, where we ate very well, and the service was excellent, with friendly and helpful staff. We'd love to return if we had the opportunity.

Luckily they don't serve vegetarian dishes, which I abhor.
Very reasonable prices.
Friendly staff. I always stop by when I pass by.

11/08/2026: An incredible experience! Everything was delicious; you could taste the quality and care in every dish. They even went the extra mile to adapt a pasta dish for me with gluten-free pasta, which I greatly appreciated.
The service was exceptional—super attentive, friendly, and on top of everything at all times. It's wonderful to find places where, in addition to eating so well, they make you feel right at home.
100% recommended. If you're in Foiano della Chiana, you have to try it! ❤️

16/12/2025: A "rustic" place, with truly attentive and friendly service. I really liked the menu, written on several sheets of paper taped to a structure at the entrance. The pici all'aglione were delicious, and the meat was good quality. I can't comment on the price because I was offered the meal.
06/12/2025: The food was excellent. I had a very generous and delicious traditional appetizer, including a divine fillet with mushrooms and lard. I'll definitely be back. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

11/08/2026: A piadina shop that over time has managed to deteriorate in practically every way: ever-increasing prices and increasingly limited toppings. The additions, then, seem to have a curious effect: you pay for them, but the piadina continues to be filled more or less the same.
Special mention goes to the blonde clerk with the tattoo, who manages to convey a truly unwelcome annoyance. In short, paying more for less food and feeling unwelcome is an experience that leaves a lasting impression.

20/08/2025: The place would be nice, but I wouldn't recommend anyone going there in the summer. The outside area consists of a covered terrace where it's hot and there's no view; the inside is even hotter because I believe there's no air conditioning. I ordered the pizza, which, although it had a good topping, seemed to be made with a pre-cooked crust and was still too thin. My companions who ordered the pasta dishes also found them good.

17/04/2026: After staying at a hotel in Foiana della Chiana, I had breakfast at this bistro the next morning—and it was an unforgettable experience.
I ate some of the most delicious croissants I've ever tasted, along with a simply perfect focaccia sandwich with mozzarella and tomato. Everything was incredibly fresh and truly delicious.
But what struck me most was the attention and kindness shown to customers: the staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere was also special—the people in line waited with great respect and patience, creating a truly pleasant atmosphere.
A heartfelt thank you to the locals and to this wonderful place. Highly recommended!

I stand by my previous review: the best in the area. There's really no point in going to an ayce restaurant unless you want to overdo it. 10 ravioli, 40 uramaki, 2 spring rolls, 2 bottles of water, €55. Excellent quality, the rolls were huge and had real vegetables, and the uramaki had little rice and lots of fish. The staff was also friendly and courteous.
20/05/2025: Lovely place, very friendly and polite staff, delicious ramen broth and ravioli. I hope to return soon.

20/12/2025: Everything here is top notch. But I'm giving the service three stars, not because the staff isn't good at their job, but because of the time constraints. On weekends, the drive can take over an hour... otherwise, everything's fine.

Prices are a bit high considering the location, which is right in the middle of the Calzedonia outlet, so there's a lot of people coming and going.
