09/08/2024: Prima di riprendere l autostrada rischiando di mangiare una rustichella in autogrill decidiamo di cercare un posto a Foiano della Chiana. Mi fermo in un bar e mi consigliano di andare al Pulcino Nero. Che scoperta. Gentilissimi e ogni piatto è stato servito con una ricerca non solo del migliore gusto per il palato, ma anche una soddisfazione per gli occhi. Incredibile il fritto che non sporca la carta assorbente per olio neanche un pò, pici toscani pazzeschi e gnocchi allo spada e pomodorini sensazionali. Poco da aggiungere consigliatissimo.
09/08/2024: Simply everything good not only for the palate, but also for the eyes. We took 3 exquisite dishes (gnocchi with swordfish and baked tomatoes, fried cuoppo and pici with ragù) which we recommend even if the menu written on a blackboard and brought to the table makes it clear that the menu changes very frequently. Thanks again. Super. The Italy we like and is never adequately sponsored.

26/03/2024: poor service, during lunch I found the unexpected company of a cat, which sat between my back and the back of the chair. Very nice cat, for goodness sake, but at least the courtesy of apologizing for the inconvenience would have been appreciated, even if the waiters seemed to barely speak Italian. The sushi was decent, but nothing too far from a common all you can eat, so I consider the à la carte menu unjustified.

20/04/2024: Place appears to largely rely on takeaways and outside dining with only a small indoor seating area. So when there was six of us it was rather cramped.
We had between us the risotto, cotoletta with potatoes and the pici pasta with pepper. Food was reasonable given where we were and the price. Bill came to EUR55-00 that included one large bottle of sparkling water and the service charge.
Staff were friendly.

01/07/2024: Really disappointing experience due to the exorbitant price.
I got two pieces of pizza and was shocked when the bill came to €20.
For a pizza by the slice, I was definitely expecting something more accessible.
Although the quality was decent, the cost was definitely not justified.
I don't think I will return to this place, unless they revise their prices.

04/05/2024: The alley itself is cute but the nice place is managed by a rude character. It was me and my friend and he took the license to sit down...well let's listen....after 7 minutes we realized that he was being a pleaser and had started a conversation on his own that had no rhyme or reason... ......anyway in the end I was forced to explicitly tell him to leave the table as his speeches were not welcome..... he turned purple and then said I hope I didn't seem like a creep. Ah, so you're also aware of it and you thought we were 2 geese? NEVER AGAIN UNLESS THEY CHANGE MANAGEMENT plus zero hygiene he says to his attendant at the nearby table just left by customers SEE THERE IS NO NEED TO PASS ANYTHING THEY HAVE NOT EVEN MADE CRUMBS in spite of the hygiene rules learned in COVID. ....HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED

15/03/2024: From Esselunga I get their sheep's ricotta and after two days I open it to eat and I smell a bad smell in addition to the brownish color. The product expired two days after opening so I'm making a complaint. They contact me and can only tell me that they have done a thousand checks and then tell me that he must have hurt himself by taking him home. (that it takes me 5 minutes to get from the supermarket has never happened in my life with other similar or identical products). At least apologize or that you're sorry but accuse and make excuses that don't exist because if it had been my fault I wouldn't waste time making complaints for nothing.
Even before doing business, be kind and human because they are worth more than the money you make every day. Whether it concerns me or another person, one works to earn them and treat them in this way.
